Cons: There were plenty of guests who were not students at this hotel and it had one small working lift which was totally inadequate for the number of guests they had staying. Plus it advertised that it had a laundry but would not supply change for the machines and referred guests to the cafe who also bluntly refused to supply change. Our friends' room had a hair dryer but no kettle but coffee and tea and our room had a kettle but no hair dryer. (Good that we had friends!!) The rooms were not serviced until 6.30 - 7pm at night - so we mostly took clean towels and let the servicing go. This was not a cheap hotel and I really don't think it gave us good value for money.

Strange combo but very cool in the end. The rooms are well appointed... comfortable beds, nice amenities, great shower/bathroom. I have stayed here multiple times and there are several room types, some larger than others. The Deluxe Room is my favorite so far. Will be back soon!

Cons: Our room itself was in the annex, not the main building. The configuration was odd, but it was fine for a single night. If we were to stay longer, we would have asked to move to the main building.

Cons: You must valet your car, as the parking spaces in front of the hotel are not owned by the hotel. It is a nice service, but I wasn't aware I had to valet up front, or that someone else would be driving my car.

Pros: Well where to start location from station is perfect then a warm welcome from the staff to meet u with a small refreshment so friendly , room again perfect a family room with 4 ladies staying for a concert we requested an iron and kettle all there when we arrived, a small fridge ,microwave everything we needed for our stay ,very comfortable beds ,large toilet with toiletries kitchen area and plenty of sockets ,tv with a few British channels ,we stayed in adjacent building from hotel free fresh fruit in foyer daily with vending machines for chocolate or juice over in hotel u could also help yourself to coffee with cake and chill for a while which we did enjoy booking for next year thanx for a great stay townhouse maastricht

Cons: The style the cleanliness and the location are perfect. It is just opposite to the train station. There are some good restaurants nearby. The yum cha restaurant just a few steps away is absolutely unforgettable. There are a bike store nearby for bike rental. I love the bed a lot. Very comfy. Staff was lovely and helpful. Great value.

Cons: Small things. I'm used to having a refrigerator in the room. Bit of a bother not to have one. We booked the rooms without breakfast and I think E17 for a continental breakfast is a quite outrageous. The other option "quick breakfast" is a bit better.

Cons: Only negative was that our original room AC was not working and it was quite hot (although it was 90+ degrees outside). We asked for a fan and potentially to be moved to another room, to which we were told that maintenance would come by in the morning to look at the AC and that no other rooms were available. So we slept in the room the first night and maintenance came by the next day and said they couldn't fix it anytime soon. Later that morning they finally gave us another room and upgraded us to a suite for the rest of the stay.

I had to move rooms while in the hotel, the staff member at reception promised me that because of my move my breakfast will be included in my room rate. This was not the case when I had to pay, luckily I only ate breakfast once in the hotel ( but at an astronomical rate! ) My bathroom was very old. The shower was in the bath with a shower curtain. I was revolted by the surface of the bath floor when showering.

Pros: Our third time back here and it was still as good . The staff are very helpful particularly the lady owner. The location is stunning right in the heart of the city. It is lively and vibrant. The breakfast is of good quality. Great for motorbikes as there is secure garage storage nearby by the hotel itself . We hope to return and this time see Andre Rieu as we always just miss him each year.
Cons: There is nothing to not like about this hote but is has to be noted that it is lively , vibrant and at times quite noisy at night particularly if you have a room at the front. Also some of the rooms dont have en suite facilities as you have a key to a toilet in the landing area.

Cons: It needs a refurbish. The room needed painting and the windows didn't open. The room was supposed to be deluxe but no way could it claim this. There was just a small hanging space and no drawers. Only 2 coffee pods per day, no kettle or tea and breakfast wasn't included. Others in the hotel had booked with a tour, paid less than us and had breakfast. If we had wanted it, we would have had to pay 30 euros per day.

Cons: The directions for getting to the hostel. It went to get on the bus they said and was told by the driver that the stop mentioned was a long way from the hostel. He suggested getting bus number 9 and it stopped on the other side of a park from the hostel and you could see the hostel from the park. The bus ride took a long time about 20-30 minutes instead of the 10 minute bus ride and 10 minute walk that was suggested by the hostel. I prefer the easy options when going to a place that I do not know.

Pros: Our check in experience with the reception manager not welcoming, his attitude came across he did not any communication response from us, otherwise all staff were friendly, happy, helpful and attentive. The old hotel is situated adjacent to Vrijthof and numerous restaurants, bars and café’s. The old style lift with manual operated door travels to level 3. Our room was spacious with pleasant décor, the bed was very comfortable we slept well, the lighting in the room was dull. A great shower area with good lighting, separate toilet room, good lighting in the entry and toilet controlled by sensors. Breakfast room overlooks the trees along the edge of the Vrijthof, we did not take up the breakfast option. We noted some noise from the stayers that partied on after the concert in the Vrijthof other wise it was quiet. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

At arrival the receptionist was not friendly. There are no 2 twin beds but 2 single beds. It was rated as a 4 star hotel, it is 2-3 star.

Cons: The hotel really needs a ramp for the 3 or 4 steps to the entrance of the hotel, for the those who use wheelchairs or mobility aids. My mother uses a mobility scooter and every time we went in or out of the hotel I had to carry the scooter. Whilst this was not the end of the world I could have done without having to do that. Also at no point did any of the staff ask if I was ok. I would never expect the staff to carry the scooter for me but a ramp would make all the difference to what is already a fabulous hotel.

Pros: The hotel was very good . They had free bus travel on the weekend. On our last day we looked around the area and found a nice swimming pool and leisure centre. we said to the hotel they should include in their brochure.

Cons: The location, it was a good 30min walk to the centre or €15 each way in a taxi, the hotel has a shuttle bus to take guest in to town but only on a Friday and Saturday, unfortunately for us we were there on Thursday..!!

Pros: The hotel was very good . They had free bus travel on the weekend. On our last day we looked around the area and found a nice swimming pool and leisure centre. we said to the hotel they should include in their brochure.

Cons: The floors and walls looked like they could use some TLC, a lot of stains. Styling was not my taste, very chaotic. They charged me tourist tax at checkout but when I arrived home I saw it was already paid for through my booking.

Pros: It was super dirty (dead dry flies and other insects piled up in the bed). When we told staff they didnt care so we asked for a vacuum and we had to clean the room by ourselves. Two of the three rooms booked were in good shape, one wasnt nice with view to the street!!!! The Botel is super central though!

Cons: The breakfast for 7€ wasnt good. they brang us food without info and didnt ask what we wanted. Foodwaste because we didnt eat half of the stuff, a simple question would have been nice.

Cons: The boat is clean enough, but would benefit from a little bit of TLC - it looks a bit 'tired' in places, but no worse than many hotels we've stayed in... They do need to obtain a Card Machine though - cash is soooo 1970's....

Pros: It's very close to the town centre.
Cons: Mostly the noise. You can hear people talking, taking shower, flushing the toilet in a cabin next to yours. Also it was pretty hot and our window was open and there were people sitting on the open deck and talking until 2 am, and of course it was impossible to sleep. It's certainly not worth the price I've paid for it. Later it was advertised for 3 times less the price, that would be as much as I would pay for it.

Cons: Room was outside the boat on the deck with toilet and shower inside the boat. Beds very small with old mattrasses. 4 of the beds were downstairs in a small room without proper windows. Attached a picture of the small porthole (no outside view and my son climbing down the small stairs to get to his room. (picture keeps rotating) Definitely not suitable for 6 adults as advertised, unless you are youths on a budget! Men's toilet leaking. Only 1 shower, we had to queue. Whole shower wet inside, nowhere to put dry things.
