The location was perfect for a short visit to the city: close to some very good restaurants, near to the river and within walking distance of most sites. The pool was much smaller than we had expected and in a rather odd location next to the breakfast area.
Beautiful clean new looking room. Wish we could have stayed longer. It was further from the train station than we thought.
Great location, excellent staff, very pleasant and clean rooms The bathroom was small
Great location near the Hotel de Ville as well as restaurants and the historic district, comfortable room with good amenities, generous breakfast buffet, very pleasant front desk staff. This place was a very good find. Easy to trip on a small step when getting out of the elevator and another small step when entering the guest room, but the front desk staff warned us about this in advance, so we were prepared.
excellent location on presqu'ile. Opposit there is a groccery shop with everythig you might need if don not want to use a mini-bar There was no air-conditioner. Given that it was quite hot we kept the windows open but during the night were waken up several times by noise on the street
Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Facilities were clean. Decor was interesting and stylish. Breakfast selection was superb. Excellent location. An overall positive experience. Would definitely stay here again.
The room was warm and comfortable, the bathroom was spotless and the bed was the best away from home I have ever slept in. Tea and coffee making facilities would have been the icing on the cake but I don't think many hotels in France do that sort of thing
Rooms beautifully decorated and comfortable. Convenient supermarket across the road. Easy access to city's historical centre and restaurants et. Arrangements for car parking were confusing. Nice balcony/courtyard but discovered it was shared with the next room. Felt like I was looking through their window. Bit awkward.
Central location, helpful staff, comfortable, clean beautifully decorated room. Lift holds only 3 people (or 2 with luggage), breakfast seemed expensive at 12 euro each so we found nice cheaper meals elsewhere
Staff were very helpful in providing room that suited our requirements. Excellent locations for touring city centre on foot. No.
The room decor was just lovely, the staff at reception always kind and helpful.
I had booked the wrong dates but the owner went out of her way to accommodate us. Everyone was really friendly and made us feel welcome. The room we were given was not in very good condition. It could have been because we booked the wrong day and they accommodated us at the last minute. The shower was awful - the bathroom wasn't clean and we struggled to move in the bathroom. Having said that - we saw one of the rennovated rooms and it looked lovely.
room very old needs re fit
Great couple running it, not long started, so friendly and helpful.Terrific location between the rivers and close to lots. (Lyon Metro great.) No lift, but staff carried up our big suitcases.
The people running the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful The hotel has recently changed hands and is in the process of being renovated. Our room had not yet been touched and it was small, poorly laid out, old shower, nowhere to hand towels, etc.
Hotel is much more worst then that was showed in offer. Fake photos. It is not a hotel, without lobby, misery.
The hotel staff was very nice, they helped us to put our luggage in the room. The bedroom was really comfortable, the bed is awesome.
Very friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff. Hotel has a great, central, location. Breakfast was good value.
Staff, location Very old room with tiny toilets
Extremely friendly staff who would go out of their way (but not intrusively) to be helpful - maps of the city freely available, advice on places to see, take care of baggage, magazines to be borrowed from reception area, etc. The location of the hotel is also excellent - right next to the Musée des Beaux-Arts and at the heart of the Presqu'ile, and not far from Vieux Lyon either; and close to Hôtel de Ville metro station. Air conditioning unit in room - very useful in the summer in Lyon. The unrefurbished room was a bit grotty. Not dirty, but it had clearly seen better days. One specific problem - the lock on the room door was rather stiff, and a bit fiddly. But the complaints are relatively minor; in most regards this is an excellent budget hotel.
The staff were really helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent, one of the best we had in France and the location of the hotel was really good, very central. The room was very small, as was the bathroom. It was adequate though and still good value for money.
