The room looked and smelled clean. This was not the best location, if you want the convention center there is still travel required.
Clean, comfortable. Poor quality of toiletries.Thin walls - room over the breakfast room - heard everything.
The location, room & pool The front desk was helpful , housekeeping was very good,, breakfast staff was clean & food was GREAT (eggs, cereal, waffles, fruit, juice & coffee). Friendly staff
Great location, shopping nearby. comfort inn is currently under construction.
The location of the hotel was great. There were plenty of stores and restuarants to take care of all your needs. The only thing I didn't like was I that wasn't aloowed to use my triple a discount. But other than that the hotle was excellent.
Clean room and comfortable bed and a/c was working. There was also a nice breakfast and free parking. there was no elevator, had a lot of bags I had to drag upstairs. The laundry room was out of order. Staff seemed confused at morning checkout, said I was listed as a no show?
Excellent location, has many food joints around, good for family or business
Staff were excellet and plotted my route when pressed for time. Good bed and internet access.
They were not organized enough to know how to find me in their reservations.
can using wireless by free of charge. I think it is not comfortable for stay and wireless slow.
The reception staff were lovely and always willing to help.
the location of the hotel was great for the event i was attending it was relaxing i would come again .
The staff were absolutely first class. Vivian in the office was so patient with me when I kept troubling her because I was having problems connecting to Wi-Fi. We got there in the end. Like all the staff she was so polite and courteous at all times. This was a great place to stay for a few days.
The room was very comfy, staff was very helpful Loud macinery outside our bedroom window woke us up
Nothing!! @ all w/not recommend. Didn't like anything, w/not suggest this hotel to anyone, no elevator, had to pull luggage up the stairs, not even suitable for disabled people. Also didn't have any toiled paper when first checked in the hotel. Next day stay had (1) face towel for two people, but all other towels were available.
It was close to our destination. We stayed one night and then went on a cruise. We stayed again one night when we returned and canceled the second night. The location was horrific, the staff were disorganized, unhelpful and argumentative. We left for breakfast and arrived back 30min prior to check-out to collect our things to discover we had been locked out and were told it was check-out time, so they had inactivated our key card! There were bars on the window, very poor insulation, holes (many) in the sheets and blanket, and poor water pressure.
The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The Hotelier gave us a gift before we left and was very courteous. The hotel is a humble older facility but very worth the stay and was close to the places in Long Beach we needed to go to.
It wasnt too bad... nice hotel manager and clean services. Would like better breakfast.
Not much to like. There was a shower and a bed. Better than sleeping outdoors. Free wifi. Rude family run staff. Very unfriendly and almost seem to actively despise paying guests. The desk worker could barely utter more than a grunt as he was watching his Indian tv programming and eating. He slammed a paper and tossed a pen at me and offered no instructions or a polite "fill this out please". Just really rude the whole interaction. I was traveling with a buddy for the Grand Prix of Long Beach and for no known reason my reservation was changed from 2 full beds to one queen bed. It was kind of awkward for 2 heterosexual males, but the office manager just shrugged and told me to take it or leave it. Everywhere else was sold out. The room was very sparse. You know it's fairly ghetto accommodations when they hand you the tv remote with your "1" room key for two people. THEY SPARE EVERY EXPENSE. Including furniture. There was no tv stand- just a cheap lcd TV hanging from the wall with cords dangling below. No night stand, and 1 single outlet for the entire room to charge the phones unless I unplugged the tv. The noise travels through the walls like paper. The neighbor flushes the toilet and it sounds like it's in your room with the bathroom door wide open. The expected sirens and thumping car systems all night long that you might expect in the rougher part of Long Beach. I've seen broke college students who live in downright luxurious dorm accommodations compared to this place. But whatever- it was a relatively inexpensive room ($95/ night after tax). The "free weekend continental breakfast" was your choice of an apple or banana in the lobby. No coffee, no cereal, no Danish. All that said, we definitely could not wait to leave. Not a place you wake up leisurely and enjoy a morning coffee in your room before travel. Nope. Wake up, then you want to leave as quickly as possible. I guess that about sums it up.
15 dollar cab ride to nightlife The staff was not very friendly
Nothing. The other people in the motel we're rude and inconsiderate. The room smelled funny. People appeared to be dealing drugs out of one of the rooms. They did not offer a sign to stay out of the room.
breakfast on weekend
Room was there when I arrived as promised and bathroom had been updated. It was clean. Very very basic accommodations with worn furnishings that had seen some hard use in the past. Serves as a clean roof over one's head but that is it. Charges for the entire stay were run through my credit card upon arrival, so changing hotels would have necessitated getting a credit card refund: never an easy or simple process.
We were close to Downton Long Beach travel and finding places close by. Lost of noise at night we saw a lot of hookers in the other side of the street.
big room. location is close to venue i was attending floors are filthy, u dont know it until u r finished taking a shower, to later find out your feet are dirtier than b4 u got into shower! cigarette burn holes in blanket. room smells like an ashtray. Too many sketchy people in other rooms!
it was clean and beautiful paint and furniture everything was cool
No roaches or bed bugs ,very clean and quiet.. Loved my stay
It was supposed to be a non-smoking room but the odor was so bad our items smelled like smoke the next day. The sheets had stains even though they were clean. The toilet seat had marks and looked like it was 20 years old.
Management was polite & helpful during business hours No place to get anything to eat or dink, no machines, it was noisy, cars/people in & out all night. couple fighting in next door room & office didn't answer phone or window to notify
The hotel was late checking me in and I had to wait but when they sent the maid service to clean the room I waited outside and I have never seen a room whipped into sshape ever. The maid they send to clean the room was of such a high caliber.
It was clean and for the price I paid i experienced a 4 star hotel type of experience. It was overall a good experience.
I didn't like anything about it!! The room smelt like smoke and it was a non smoking, the air conditioning didn't work, had to get a fan. Room looked nothing like pictures, bath spa didn't hold water nor did the bubbler. It was the worse room I've ever Stayed in, I will never go back there, Oh and the location was scary, there was a lot of suspicious activity going on in other rooms I was not comfortable at all! Horrible experience!!!

This place was BAD, the noise level was terrible, could not sleep the first night. Loud music coming from next door. People coming & going all hours of the night. The sheets where stained, slept on top of the bedspread, the toilet was not anchored to the floor, so when you sit down on it, it rocked. Needless to say we checked out the early the next morning & checked into another hotel. I would strongly advise find another hotel, do not stay here.
great place to stay with your kids the staff never bothered us and that allowed our two toddlers to be there noisy self's
Stains all over carpet..didn't want to touch a thing! Illicit things going on in other rooms.
Front desk lady and cleaning staff were rude.
Nothing shot was dirty
I would reccomend this Motel for people who need to stay in this area. Surprisingly clean and area well kept up. The Motel was also close to where we needed to do our buisness the next morning without having to battle traffic and also close to attractions like Disneyland.
The room was pretty clean and large. It was surprisingly quiet during the night. Pretty rundown facility. The front desk is behind a heavy glass panel (and no, the area didn't seem *that* skeezy*), making it almost impossible to communicate with the staff. They also have the earliest checkout time (10 am!) I've seen at a hotel.
It was on a main road to get to alot of different places! Having to use cash to pay for the room when I arrived. The bathroom door didn't lock. The TV reception was very poor. The housekeepers weren't to friendly. When I tried to check out on time there was no one in the office, I had to ring the bell for a few minutes before someone decided to wake up and come to the office so I never got my key deposit back.
