From the moment I stepped out of the taxi on arrival until I left the hotel everyone addressed me by name with a cheery greeting.
VERY comfortable and quiet room with far above average amenities, linens and furnishings. Excellent bar and public areas. I was sorry to leave but I shall be back as this is my new favorite London hotel.
BRAVO to General Manager Spencer Yeo . Executive Concierge Frank Laino, Edward and everyone at the front desk plus all the doormen who ran for cabs ( in the rain!) so I didn't have to. I say "Well done" !

Location and LuxuryPros: Perfect location. Central to everything but on a quiet side street. Excellent staff and very comfortable room. Big comfy bed, plenty of fluffy towels. Cons: American Bar very overpriced
Pros: Excellent old school luxury with modern flourishes. Cons: For some the slightly stiff air might prove uncomfortable.
