Pros: Every comfort available. Rooms with view would be better. Our inside over utility vents courtyard view was depressing.. But then we were not staying inside the hotel much and room was quiet and very well appointed. Wifi strong.
Blythswood Square Hotel puts you in a great location, within a 15-minute walk of George Square and Gallery of Modern Art. You can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant and visit the spa to be pampered with massages, body wraps, or aromatherapy. There's an indoor pool and a bar/lounge, and rooms at this luxurious hotel offer 24-hour room service and minibars.
Pros: We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very innovative with electronic check-in and room controls. We loved the shower! The food was delicious and staff were friendly and courteous. We like how the various spaces for relaxing, reading, meeting, and computer use sort of `unfolded' as we explored the first two floors of the hotel.
Cons: Difficulty in dropping off bags - no apparent place to stop car for that purpose. Parking was a bit far but ok.
Pros: Staff were friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. Bedrooms were small but perfectly sized for our needs. Bed was very comfortable. In room technology was quirky and fun. Bar - cafe - canteen was modern and exciting, with a well curated bar selection and good food. Good views from 6th floor and up.
Despite the bar being busy well into the night, we were not disturbed in our room by noise or light pollution.
Cons: There did not appear to be a gym or fitness area.
This probably not a good hotel for families with young children.
Pros: the room was clean and fine for one person
Cons: Wakened at 4am by other guests on the 6th floor and had to call in a complaint. Didn't sleep again which wasn't ideal as I was down in Glasgow for a business meeting the whole of Monday and felt really tierd. Not impressed!
Cold hot breakfast
Tablet that operated everything didn't work- staff members admitted that wi-fi was poor.
Aspirational but failing

Pros: The hotel is very nice. They even has chips, soda, wind, coffee & bottled water in the room, included in the price. The hotel restaurant has a 3 star Michelin chef who happened to be on site signing autographs of this cookbook and taking photos with guests. Our dinners were fabulous. What a treat.
Pros: Room ready early for us as we needed to get ready for a wedding coming in on a red eye across the Atlantic.
We also left our passports in the safe on departure (stupid). Once realizing the next day at our next hotel in a different city they posted them to us overnight.
Pros: Comfy beds, love the coffee french press on the tea tray, colorful, quiet and heavy drapes to pull closed for a darkened sleep
Cons: small floor space

Pros: The location of the hotel is great! The staff were friendly and our room was nice.
Cons: The leisure facilities could definitely use some renovations. The changing rooms, steam room, and general pool/leisure area were not very clean. Pros: Location near train station and shopping was awesome. Location could not be beat
Cons: Chairs in room had wide extended legs that tripped me once when walking by and skinned my arm. Try to play function above form, no reason for legs of chair to be sticking out so far

Pros: Fantastic place to stay been there a few times with my wife and again we wont stay anywhere else
Pros: The central location in Glasgow.
Cons: The two single rooms we booked were very small with no air conditioning. The one upholstered chair was thread-bare. With the window open for fresh air the traffic noise was unbearable.
The hotel has a very rigid no refund policy so be very careful when paying up front.
We would not stay at the Grand Central again nor would we recommend it to our friends.
Pros: Nice room. And public areas are impressive. Bit old fashioned
Cons: Upper floors could do with a make over
Cons: We had no remote control for the tv, the room had no fridge or minibar, we had no menu for room service and when we phoned to ask for one it took 1 hour 30 mins to arrive

The bed was fantastic, very comfortable. The bathroom was very large and nice.
Pros: Honoring our request, we were placed on the top available floor and it had a fantastic view of the city. Our room was great and the staff was excellent.
Cons: The location was not ideal, it was about a 15 minute walk to the city center and the hotel had a confusing final approach through some dark alleys and a driveway without a walkway.
For a large hotel in a large Scottish city, the Hilton is a descent place to stay - and god knows the hotel experience in Scotland can run the gamut. I'd give it 3 1/2 stars, not 4.
