Pros: Very nice decor and furnishings. The beds were comfortable. It was located near restaurants and shopping.
Pros: LOVED the place!
Cons: I booked AND paid for a room with a private patio! When I arrived, the hotel had NO knowledge, that I wanted the patio! Definitely NOT the hotels fault! The ONLY ' complaint ' about hotel was their lack of vending ( besides ice ) I had two toddlers with me, requiring SEVERAL trips to the lobby/front desk, where they have a Sundry, with a rather limited selection; a bit on the spendy side!

Pros: The Staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The location was great for traveling to Yellowstone.
Cons: The free breakfast could have been a little better, the bacon was very salty and the scrambled eggs were kinda runny. But other than that, it was ok.
Pros: The showers had high pressure and were relaxing. It is across the street from the best show in town! Great for families!
Pros: It was quiet. Breakfast was good. Room was clean. I guess I would recommend this hotel but but make it know it is expensive. Parking was convenient, internet was good. Maid service was also good.
Cons: A little expensive for an older hotel showing signs of needing an upgrade.
Pros: Western Charm
Pros: Mural in the hall attracted us to the Cody Museum as well. Excellent location from the entrance to Yellowstone. Baby grand in the lobby... nice! Good hot breakfast. A nice pleasurable stay.
Cons: NOT ONE THING. WOULD CHOOSE AGAIN.
Pros: Beautiful hotel. Clean. Organized. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Pool was open 24 hours.
Cons: Breakfast was crowded. Standing room only on the first morning. We went later the second morning and it wasn't as crowded.
new, well kept, nice outdoor guest area with a outdoor gas fire
We loved everything!! Staff was so helpful. Beautiful hotel. Breakfast included. Nice indoor pool and jacuzzi. Great rooms and mattresses.
Pros: Rustic yet plush ambiance, and full accommodations
Cons: No cover unloading area
Good breakfast, friendly staff, and very nice rooms.
Pros: Everyone at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. This is a really nice place to stay!
Cons: The beds were terribly uncomfortable and the dogas in another room were noisy, and when we came in and out of room we had dogs barking and growling at us. I tried to talk to management and I received no response.
What a find. This is one of the, or thee, nicest hotel I've stayed at. The quality oozes out of every pore of this hotel. The craftsmanship, the materials, the art everywhere you look; it all adds up to one fine experience. This hotel was absolutely whisper quiet, no adjacent room noise, no door-slamming, no planes or traffic sounds. The lobby is very big and impressive, just like the area is. The hotel room itself was very, very nice with a GREAT bed and pillows, a super nice separate toilet / shower room with high-end toiletries and tile and super thick, soft towels. The flat screen tv was on the small size (24?/32'?) which was surprising for this grand of a hotel, but maybe they don't want you to sit in your room and watch the tube (so to speak) when you should be out enjoying everything that Cody and the whole area has to offer. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone, it's fantastic!
Pros: Wow, where to begin.. everything here was perfect! The quality, the furnishings and art, the quiet, the breakfast, the.. everything.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't stay here longer. It's one of the (thee?) nicest hotels I've stayed at, and I travel 150-200 days a year.
Pros: This was a great place to stay would stay there again. Rooms where nice and the beds were great!!

Pros: The room was clean and well portioned. I enjoyed the western flair of the entire facility. The bed and linens were new and fresh.
Cons: A small breakfast would be appreciated.

Pros: The staff was very helpful and curtious. Breakfast was fantastic! Coffee bar 24/7! Free fresh cookies everyday at 4pm! Updated room very comfortable.
Cons: The tv was too low on the center they had it on, so you had to point the remote just right from the bed to get it to turn on it off or change channels.
Pros: Bed was comfortable.
Cons: The furniture was very uncomfortable, they were going for the rustic look chairs made from tree branches and so on. the room barely fit two queen sized beds to where you could not get around to one side of the bed.
Pros: We love the bed covering of white 'sheet' rather than bedspreads! Nice quiet atmosphere. The lobby is quite a museum of animal trophies, making for a fascinating breakfast.
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: The Amerinn hotels always seem to smell musty. The breakfast that is offered is great though

Cons: The breakfast wasn't very good. We appreciate that they offer breakfast at all, but a better selection would have been nice.
Pros: The hotel is located off 14 so it was easy to get to.
Cons: We did not like the bathroom layout. It was very small and the counter did not offer space for personal items.
Pros: The was great and breakfast was alright . the pool look good but we did take time to try it.
Cons: Upstair halls could her kids run and doors closing hard at 2:00 am.
Pros: The staff was overall friendly and accommodating. The room was nice a little dated but still clean. Its just out of town but not to far. There is also a great BBQ place right next door. My girls loved the pool it was really warm and all the mounts.
Cons: There was not enough room for the breakfast. It was very crowded to get in and out and there was not enough seating to accommodate everyone. The price is pretty high, but it was summer in Cody and that seemed to be about average.
Pros: Convenience to our plans
Cons: I believed the rate given me had tax included and when I got their they charged additional taxes. Was not happy about the expensive price that we finally got charged.
Pros: Good room and breakfast. No concerns at all.
Cons: There are two levels to the hotel and there is no elevator.
Would recommend any to stay here!!!
Pros: Room was clean and the hotel staff was very helpfull

This was a great place to stay. The staff made us feel at home and were very helpful. I would recommend this hotel.
Pros: The animals in the lobby were really interesting and the staff was exallent.
Cons: The breakfast area was small and crowded.
Nice place to stay. Good value.
Pros: I upgraded to three queen size beds. It was extremely nice when traveling with three soon to be teenagers. The fresh baked cookies every day was a nice touch.
Cons: The pool area needed some venilation.
A great choice for a stay in Cody, King's Inn is just 4 mi (6.4 km) from the airport. The indoor pool is a great spot for a morning swim, and guests can get a workout in at the fitness center. All rooms offer pillowtop beds, flat-screen TVs, and refrigerators.
Pros: Very nice, helpful staff and clean facilities. Good deal for the price
Cons: The location is on the fringes of downtown Cody, not exactly in downtown Cody. It about a 5-10 minute walk to get to the heart of the downtown area. The mattress was old and way to soft (could feel the springs); it definitely needed to be replaced.
Pros: Nice employees condition of room. Stuffy musty smell. Old linens. Loud air conditioner
Cons: As above
Pros: Friendly staff and owner. My room, while dated, was thoroughly cleaned each day of my stay. The motel is off the main drag in Cody, making it less noisy than other motels. Parking for my motorcycle was only a few steps from my room. A hose and water to wash motorcycles is conveniently located. The washer and dryer worked just fine.
Cons: The nightly price, while comparable to others in Cody, WY for "in season" rooms, is outrageous. I understand it's a seller's market, but for comparison, I spent 2 different nights in another city in a nationally recognized motel for less than half the rate charged at Western Rose. And it included a continental breakfast.
Located in downtown Cody, WY, within walking distance to all the best shops and restaurants. Single, Double and Triple Queen rooms available (also King). 100% NON SMOKING, NO ANIMALS. Free WIFI & Guest Laundry. One level motel with parking just outside your door!
Cons: Paid more than the room was worth because of where it was located.
Pros: Nice, clean hotel. Good breakfast with friendly staff that might just sing good morning to you as you enter.
Pros: Proximity to the Cody Rodeo
Cons: Hotel breakfast was in a separate building, staffed by rude and unhelpful people.
Pros: Good location
Cons: There was blood on the pillow cases and the people above me were jumping and pounding on the floor all night. I do not think that the room was not cleaned and the bedding was never changed
Cons: THE PRICE,IT WAS SUPER EXPENSIVE FOR THAT LOCAYION
Pros: The hotel was very convenient to Yellowstone National Park. That was very nice.
Cons: It was pricey.
Pros: The hotel is ideally located near the highways.
Cons: The facility is dated. There were odd (?) stains on the furniture. The heater in the room runs constantly at the temperature set so it's constantly humming. It's also noisy. I was awoken multiple times by the people upstairs and the room next to me.
Pros: Location and breakfast
Pros: very nice and clean
Pros: It was just blocks from Main street stores and eating convenience. The bed was very comfortable. It was great to get picked up for tours. It had a fridge so we could keep cold drinks available. Also used the iron and the blow dryer.

Cons: The breakfast food and space needs improved.
Pros: Room and surroundings were very quiet.
Pros: Cheap for Yellowstone area
Cons: You get what you paid for. Breakfast was inedible; most people skipped it. Lots of people smoking in the walkways; must have been a special for chain smokers.
Pros: Clean, quiet, good wifi.
Cons: High price
Pros: Clean, fresh in appearance. Personnel very helpful & friendly. Great value.
Washer and dryer available should we have needed it. Internet was out with no one who knew how to fix it. Our boys were bummed as it was late at night and they just wanted to veg for an hour or so.
Pros: The hotel was quint from the outside and had some fair views of the mountain and deer passing through the open lot next door.
Cons: Pillow case had a long black hair on it - not belonging to our party...makes you question the entire cleanliness. It was an older establishment with outdoor entries and no common space. Breakfast was available in a 6x10 area of the office. Staff friendly.
Cons: first floor could hear all movement on second floor throughout the night.
Featuring free Wi-Fi in all rooms, this Cody, Wyoming inn is 1 miles from the Buffalo Bill Museum and 50 miles to Yellowstone National Park. Offering a seating area, each room includes a TV, a refrigerator and an en suite bathroom at Green Gables Inn. A microwave is also provided in all rooms. Yellowstone Regional Airport is 5 minutes’ drive away from Green Gables Inn. Shoshone National Forest is 30 minutes’ drive away.
Pros: Loved the location, breakfast was good, and room was super clean. Beautiful scenery and quiet.
Cons: Showerhead didn't adjust up or down (or side to side), leaving water hitting the other side of the shower stall wall. This meant my tiny 7-year-old's hair was a big challenge, and even my 6'3" husband found it a challenge. My 12-year-old and I also had to be pretty creative in showering to make it work.
Pros: The view of the mountains and valley was gorgeous.
Cons: 1. The bathtub had a ring of dirt around it.
2. Room air conditioner was placed in the back of the room which made the room stuffy.
3. TV had only a few channels of old shows and ALL were constantly snowy.
4. Bedsheets were so old and thin that they were not comfortable.
5. WHEN WE SAW THE ROOM WE DEcIDED WE WOULD NOT STAY A SECOND NIGHT BUT THE CLERK SAID THEY HAVE A POLICY THAT SAYS THERE IS NO REFUND FOR EARLY DEPARTURE. Apparently this policy was in on the form my husband signed when we checked in. WE HAD TO PAY For a second night even though we did not stay.
6. This hotel is located 18 miles from Cody, Wy and near nothing. If you are planning to visit the town of Cody, you will have a long ride to .
We would not recommend anyone stay here unless they are RVers. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED in Kayak's inclusion of this place as a decent place to stay.
Pros: Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good with a good selection. If your looking to be away from town, this is a reasonable place on the water to the Easy entrance to Yellowstone
Cons: This is an RV park with a few cabins and a hotel. Cabins are small and rustic. OK for a place to sleep, but nothing special.
Enjoy your visit to Wapiti with a stay at Yellowstone Valley Inn. After hanging out at the outdoor pool or seasonal outdoor pool, guests can grab a bite to eat at Western Dining Room, which serves American cuisine and is open for breakfast and dinner. A bar/lounge and a spa tub are other highlights, and rooms offer pillowtop beds and free WiFi.

Pros: Didn't stay long enough to see or enjoy all the activities around but thought the cabin was really cute and comfortable
Pros: Rustic charm.
Pros: Staff was VERYaccomodating
Cons: Right in town
Pros: The cabins were very nice and clean. They weren't rustic but are updated inside.
Cons: The cabin we stayed in was tiny. There was no parking by or cabin so wet had to walk.
Pros: I stayed here two years ago and found the cabin to be charming and comfortable. They are still the same and totally different from the typical Blah motel.
Cons: Check in can be difficult, ice was a long walk away and located in another motel and parking was difficult at best.
Buffalo Bill Village Cabins is just 2 mi (3.3 km) from the airport and offers a free shuttle (available 24 hours). The restaurant is the perfect spot for a bite to eat, and after having fun at the seasonal outdoor pool, you can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. Rooms offer flat-screen TVs, premium bedding, and free WiFi.
Cons: The walls & windows must be paper thin. I wear ear plugs & that made absolutely no difference. Even my husband said he could hear even the smallest noise outside. We got no sleep. Would never go back
Pros: Location and overall friendliness.
Pros: Room accessories...
Cons: When asked for room on first floor was told they were all booked; when we left the next morning at 6:00 am several first floor rooms looked unoccupied (curtains were open)...
Pros: Convenient to the downtown area -- within walking distance of restaurants and shops
Cons: I realize that the proximity to the National Park will drive up prices, but this was very average for the money. Don't get your expectations up too high and you will have a reasonable experience.
Pros: The beds were comfortable
Cons: Limited parking at hotel parking lot
She refused to refund my money due to the 24 hour cancelation policy
Pros: Checking out
Cons: I didn't like anything about this hotel. It was nasty, it was full of Hells Angels who were in town for a rally . When I checked out and explained to the manager that I was not going to be in a hotel with cussing, yelling, bikers revving their engines
Nice place to stay.
Pros: Room is big and clean. Near a supermarket.
Cons: no refrigerator
Room was nice and clean!
Cons: price seemed high but fair for Cody at this time of year. main hallway carpets need cleaning.
This hotel looks old and dated outside. The lobby is tiny. And I don't think there's an elevator. The keys are 'old school'. BUT. The rooms are nicely redone. Everything was spotless. Beds were nice, I'd stay here again. It's not like the chain hotels who really don't care. I felt like someone cares about this place. This is their livelihood. Go stay here!
Pros: The old feel with the updated touches
Pros: Very friendly desk clerk; no smoking and no pets was nice.
Cons: Internet didn't work very well during our stay; no breakfast except for coffee and muffins.
You MUST stay at this non-chain hotel!! It cannot be beat. I think it matches any 4 star hotel.
Pros: The close proximity to downtown and the attention to detail in the lobby and room. All of the hand carved items including the bed head boards!
Pros: The western decor was great and the room was comfortable.
Cons: The bathroom is private, but not attached to the room.
Roaming Cowboy Bed & Breakfast offers accommodation in Cody. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Each room includes a private bathroom fitted with a bath. The nearest airport is Yellowstone Regional Airport, 1.9 miles from Roaming Cowboy Bed & Breakfast.
Pros: The atmosphere; they have an antique western feel. Loved the decor.
Cons: Nothing in particular.
Cons: Sink was in the room and not the bathroom.
Pros: We loved the way the room was completely modern, but still had a the stylings of the late 1800's. It is a wonderful place to stay.
Pros: History and location.
Cons: Staff courtesy and lack of usual amenities, such as small refrigerator and microwave.
Pros: Entertainment: great fun.
Cons: Buffet supper in restaurant. Prime rib was excellent but only pudding for dessert!
Pros: Centrally located and loved the feeling of being in the old West.
Pros: staff great, location good, food excellent.
Pros: The Irma simply oozed charm. The restaurant, lounge and sidewalk were very nice.
Cons: Parking is a joke, excuse me, all but nonexistent. They need to be specific that it is or is not OK to park in the various banks' lots that are adjacent to the hotel. I would probably not stay at that hotel again, simply for that reason.
Pros: The restaurant and bar are beautiful. My family could tell we were somewhere very special. The staff made us feel like we lived there forever.
Cons: If you stay here, you need to understand that this is an old hotel, the plumbing is loud, the fixtures are leaky. Don't stay here if you're wanting state of the art. We loved and appreciated all of it. Even the plumbing.
Pros: The hotel is beautiful. It had that great old time feel. The little antique touches took you back to a time of yesteryear.
Cons: The restaurant staff were fantastic. The girl at the check in desk, not so much. The price was also $10 more upon arrival than listed because we had 2 adults and 1 child.
Pros: Price was great, location very good as well, historic features the closer
Cons: The Hot water handle in the shower had to be turned on to full to prevent water from spurting past the handle. Took awhile to get hot water and others using the service would change the temperature to much colder. For the price paid it was OK

Pros: Room was very good for a Super 8. Great location. Very friendly staff.
Cons: Breakfast need to be improved. There was no hot breakfast. All the breakfast items were packeted items.
Pros: Perfect stop for a Wyoming-Montana road trip. Room had everything needed including microwave, fridge, HDTV with good channels, and very good Wi-Fi.
Cons: Price a little high, but it seems that all the lodging in Cody is at the higher end.
Cons: The breakfast could use some more options. Wasn't a lot to choose from.
Pros: Great price over the holiday weekend. Basic breakfast. Easy to find.
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly. There were a few extra perks we weren't counting on.
Pros: It was a convenient place to spend the night. Right on the road to Yellowstone. Good value for the money.
Cons: No. It was a nice stay!
Pros: The availability of parking.
Cons: The price they charge as a 2 star motel will get you a 4 star hotel in Billings MT 70 minutes away. (& this wasn't even tourist season yet!) Tiny rooms. Tiny tv. The breakfast is yogurt, 2 types of cereal and toast. Seriously, drive 70 min to Billings.
Pros: Super friendly staff
Pros: Great setting - great stay.
Cons: Not that I can think of.
Pros: it was there when I needed a hotel
Cons: It really was not what I had expected from the star rating. WAY WAY overpriced.
Pros: The members of the staff were helpful and knowledgeable. (I interacted with about 4-5 of them during my 2 days there.) They also seemed happy in their jobs, which is always a good indicator that things are right. They were fun, cheerful, and professional.
Cons: I noticed a couple of hairs high up on the walls in the bathroom, which made me wonder about the cleanliness, although the room otherwise appeared to fine.
Pros: Clean and the breakfast was nice.
