We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely new hotel situated in the calm and colourful Rose Street. The suite was huge and spacious but very elegant and cosy. The sumptuous bathroom included an amazing bathtub and relaxing shower. Also very important: a wonderful kingsize bed. Very friendly staff and a big thanks to Ursula and Michel for their superb services, advice and chats, which made our stay unforgettable. Sidedish, the breakfast and lunch bar situated in the hotel, serves fingerlicking good stuff. Make sure you at least once order the french toast and the home made lemonade!
It was a superb in city experience NO!
Very pleasant, clean, comfortable a little unusal guest house with different decor. Staff very friendly and helpful at all times. Short distance to V&A waterfront and table mountain. Very good.
The service was amazing, the rooms are extremely spacious and breakfast is delicious. The hotel is also very close to the Waterfront and the CBD.
Unlike big chain hotels, it has some personality. You are treated as a guest rather than just a customer.
great owners, style and big comfortable rooms a bit noisy
Rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. The service we recieved was exceptional, very welcoming and accomodating. We were at the top floor, perhaps it could with a lift, but not too much of a problem.
The decor was understated and unique, the rooms perfectly apppointed and the owners hospitable and extraordinarily helpful and charming.
Extremely helpful staff, great for providing recommendations and made us feel very welcome. I would happily recommend the Hotel.
The service that we received from all the staff was absolutely fantastic - from the gourmet breakfast to recommendations about what to do and see in Cape Town - you cannot fault any of the staff for their professionalism and passion about their guests and the city. The room was gorgeous, with a great view of Table mountain and we certainly felt safe whilst in and around the area. It was definately the little touches that made us feel so welcome, booking table mountain tickets, recommending a doctors to visit and sparing us the time to discuss our days are just few of the ways they made us feel special during our stay
Good position vs all the most important places to visit in Cape Town (Waterfront, Table Mountain...) The room (Red) was really too small
The owners were wonderful and welcoming, and they were helpful in planning my stay. I'd recommend the facilities to anyone - very clean and a charming B & B overall. Incredible value!
We liked the location, the people running the La Rose and found it very comfortable and secure. Nio
The amazing, friendly and helpful hospitality by the owners of La Rose. They made our stay as enjoyable as possible and made us feel so at home in their lovely and well located B&B.
Very nice place to stay in, especially if you want to relax. The owners are very friendly.
Excellent service! Most oustanding hotel in Cape town considering value for money
Yoann, the proprietor, was very helpful and friendly. He can arrange tours, give you a good overview of the city, and he makes a good breakfast. The place is small and tucked away. You don't typically see anyone after breakfast so it is best to arrange anything you will be needing at that time. At night the surrounding streets are dark and lonely so if traveling solo (or even a couple) you should get the number of a taxi service.
Very helpful stuff ! Yoann gave us many useful suggestions, helped us to reserve the Taxi at a negotiated rate and helped us when we have trouble. Very nice host.
The hosts could not have been friendlier or more welcoming... it felt more like staying with family and friends, who could also provide much useful information. The B&B is perfectly located, within walking distance of both the centre and the Waterfront, as well as some restaurants. The place itself is lovely, safe and spotless, decorated with a lot of thought and love.
