Wonderful location, beach front and great friendly staff
At the heart of Camps Bay. Restaurants and the beach is next to you. Hotel staff was so helpful.
The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. The ground floor bar could be a little more organised - slow to get the bill and ran out of nuts....not a major problem though
Excerllent location, very comfortable and clean room, nice finish and decoration matching with seaside, quiet but convinient with shops, bars and retaurants within walking distance. Against to the price and rank of hotel, the breakfast shall have plenty of choices and also be free of charge, however, only buffet is free with limited choice and others, specially hot food will be charged.
Confort of the hotel
The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was excellent.
When the sun is shining there is no better hotel in Cape Town to be a guest at. Very luxurious yet trendy and the staff are excellent, a number of whom have worked there for decades.
This hotel is all about location. 5 stars for location but not for anything else! If its location you are looking for then its worth the money. Not a high standard at all. Rooms very basic and cheap looking! The service in this hotel is extremely poor from reception to lounge staff. I would give it 2* tops! If its service you want do not stay here.
Comfortable high class luxury hotel with friendly serviceminded staff at a great location.
absolute perfection and professionalism, bar facilities with the fire places briliant views from room, friendly and efficient service of the staff, 24hour deli and the cocktails are for sure the best in town - brilliant in all ways
5 star without the attitude Nothing
Very good welcome in reception: conducted tour of hotel facilities: excellent restaurant: swimming pool and surrounds: courteous service; excellent spa Room was comfortable if a bit dark and with no view: should have freshly squeesed orange juice at breakfast
Wonderful location and amazing food surrounded by ocean and mountains in Cape Town! Best sunset in the world with wonderful lounge and deck to view over the Indian Ocean!!!
staff service Our room was 33 square meters, quite small.
Everything was very nuce Restaurant for Dinner
charming boutique hotel by SA standards, wholly overpriced, but obviously priced with European and US clientele
Fantastic setting, friendly helpful staff including kitchen who cooked after breakfast had finished, only problem was no hot water for 3 days but this caused by local council road works and hotel dealt with recompense very well No
Lovely view friendliness of staff Access to our room by several flights of steps a bit of effort for people at our stage in life
the hotel was excellent,very clean,great breakfast,ideal location
Friendliness of staff and willingness to ensure the stay was as enjoyable as possible. The setting of the hotel is lovely and the gardens are beautiful with well manicured and tended gardens, borders and ponds. The room we were given, 16, was fantastic. It was stylishly decorated and had an amazing bathroom and a terrace overlooking the sea. No.
Staff, panoramics, fantastic breakfast
The view and the staff - really friendly and reassuring Arrriving and having to walk thr' the French Windows of the dining room - instead of the door. Our first room was difficult to access through airless corridoors and up
location and pool and gardens
Good location No reception cover between 7pm and 7am. Breakfast things put away at 9am on first morning when breakfast is on from 8am until 10am. Lots of stairs and unlocking of doors to get to room. Have to go through dining room to get to some rooms.
Excellent staff, impressive garden, superb view and commendable breakfast
The Ocean view was in an amazing position on the sea front in camps bay, with a wondereful view over the bay and in easy distance to the main strip and into central cape town.
Reception was very welcoming and helpful. The room was large, modern and attractive. I booked a room w/o view but the view from the public spaces bar area and pool was very nice. Good value for location in Camp's Bay. The bar area has a computer that guests may use. Anywhere in Camp's Bay, incl. here -- People with bad knees may need to check location of room before booking -- some rooms have a lot of steps. Parking directly at the hotel may be limited at peak times, but parking on nearby road is available.
The staff was extremely friendly, the room was beautiful and well-decorated, and the location was great as well, close to camps bay and cape town as well
Staff were all friendly and willing to help from the manager down. Nice home-from-home atmosphere with really superb sea views and sunsets. Great position from which to get to see surrounding attractions. Breakfast was freshly prepared and more than adequate. All in all, really enjoyed our stay and would recommend them to anyone interested. Parking facilities are possibly at a premium but which I believe will be resolved.
the staff were wonderful - we have a fantastic stay at the hotel - couldn't wish for a better location.
Staff were extremely friendly
beautiful rooms, tasteful interior, very clean and beautiful location close to the beach, lovely view. Friendly and helpful staff, it rather feels like staying at a friends house than merely being a guest at someones hotel.
The hotel is in a fantastic location; far enough from the beach to be quiet, but close enough for access to all the restaurants and bars along the sea front. The staff were helpful with our bags on arrival and were friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast was also good. Car parking facilities are limited at peak times
Fantastic seaview, modern room design, great attention to detail like flower petals on the bed, staff excellent. Would stay there again.
The excellent location at the beach.
The comfy beds and pillow, those extra touches that are unexpected
All the employees were incredibly friendly and helpful at all times. Everyone was very welcoming and accommodating. The location of this property is right by all the restaurants and shops in Camps Bay and the pool is very nice. This property is primarily a time share so they're not very flexible with some of our requests
Friendly staff. Great location. Comfortable bed. Room also had kitchenette facilities which was a bonus.
The convenience of not having to drive a car, everything is within walking distance The noise level of the resturants nearby
Wonderful location, rooms very comfortable and kitchenette very welcome. Fantastic views and staff very friendly and helpful. Bathroom a little 'tired' - could do with an upgrade.
surprised at size of unit = expected a studio unit - i.e.bed/sit one room with bathroom etc, 1st visit -appeared to be a block of units, no hotel facilities i.e resturant -foyer for meeting relatives etc If they were available - I was not informed. Also for the price, I would have xpected milk/sugar/tea etc avaiable in room - nothing there at all.
Excellent location, lovely hotel, clean with good room facilities. Nice view, friendly .... all lovely. We were not made aware of all the hotel had to offer i.e food, spa offers etc.. .... we did not need the facilities but they missed out on potential business and additional revenue. This is an observation not a complaint.
Location. Pool above my unit. Shower water temp did not work proper. Very moldy smell in the kitchen area. Would have liked a full service conceigre.
the room was great, the view from the room was magnifaset(room 101)the stuff were very friendly and warm
The location, helpful and polite staff
The view from the hotel Very old wooden furniture with old carpets. Superior rooms did not have swimming pool as was promised on the website (there is only one). Large room but too expensive
Good comfortable rooms for good value. Friendly atmosphere from staff, who were also attentive. Price of taxi transfer they arranged to the airport was extortionate, which spoiled an otherwise excellent trip.
Close to camps bay Hotel sent an email expaining that we had to get in touch by the day before our stay to confirm our room. As this stay was at the end of a three week holiday it was only by chance that we had time to use the internet and saw the message. Not sure what the policy would be if we did not confirm ie would we have arrived and no room would be available
the views the quality of the rooms. ie: they need updating and a gould make over
Everything! Great location and amazing views from the breakfast room/lounge in particular. Nope.
Location and attentiveness of staff
no one interupted us. it was a peaceful and relaxing weekend
We stay in the main room and everything was excelent, the view magnific, localtion like heaven
Very friendly nice people preparing breakfast every morning for us. It is 3 stars hotel, not 4 stars. Room was a very small for two people. We booked throw internet and gave a different impression, as we could get the same acomodation for chipper price.
Very central to the sea front and restaurants in Camps Bay. Staff behind the desk were very helpful. Attention to decor detail was poor thus resulting in having a room which did not live up to our booking expectations.
The rooms were very clean and in a good location (close to Cams Bay). Both Amir and Rene were fantiastic and always willing to help with any requests.
The Villa was idea for us with a 2 year old Son, it was very very clean, spacious and close to camps bay beach, the cottage was lovely
not far from the beach, little super market near by. view of sea. pool. clean and luxurious feel to it. however kitchen, lounge, dining, balcony areas all shared with other rooms... we were the only guests there though so it worked out lovely. big corner bath but no privacy between the bath area & room which is fine for married couples. toilet seperate though ;o)... sweet hosts & fully furnished set up. nice for big groups ;o) There was nothing wrong with our stay, but it would have been uncomfortable if we were not the only ones staying there since the kitchen, lounge, dining area, DSTV channels & balcony is all shared with the other rooms. for private people who want time alone, this would not work if there were other guests like in peak season.
This is a villa that lets individual rooms - great when you are the only people. We stayed with a family who took 3 out of 5 rooms - we felt like we were intruding in their holiday.
nice in everything not at all
very large room and bathroom (which had corner jacuzzi bath and great shower. Great location, very helpful staff, peaceful, nice pool. Was reaaly pleased with every thing about Villa Atlantica, nice lounge area, patio and kitchen area (even managed to do some washing!) Liked everything about it, would highly recommend
Hotel staff was very kind
We stayed in the Cottage (which is really a room attached to the house) we had the impression it was a cottage outside of the house.
Very secure -important in sa. Clean. Friendly. 'Garden room' no view wrongly described as cottage. No pool access. Tv satellite useless. Very noisy on 2 nights- needs sound proofing. 15 minute uphill walk from beach. Total charge had to be paid up-front in two installments
The atmosphere is relaxing an beautifull
