Paint peeling on bathroom door, dirty spot on wall (husband had to clean with washcloth/gross!), no breakfast, expensive for what you get
When we left
We were in a non-smoking room that smelled of smoke, and my son has asthma. The police were there when we checked in. They are remodeling and had crap we were tripping on in the hallway. Didn’t feel safe here and the front desk couldn’t care less for our concerns nor tried to better accommate us. Said he’d speak with the manager, but nothing happened. Ridiculous conditions. Never stay here again.
Switched rooms twice. We were not the only room with cleanliness issues. First room had a sewage scent, second hadn’t been cleaned after the last guests, the third one, which was a non-smoking room, smelled of smoke with the smoke alarm dismantled. They knew they were going to be full, but did not staff appropriately. Horrible experience. The front desk tried to do all they could.
No breakfast although listing specified it was offered--clerk rudely stated that they cancelled it 4 months earlier. Thermostat in room was broken so we froze all night since no one came to fix it.
We had a room with no windows to the outside. It faced the run-down pool area, but you couldn't go out the slider without leaving your room unlocked.
Well run run-down hotel
Everything was fine. But when you see 3 stars you don't expect everything to look so run down. I half expected to see duct tape holding things together. The staff was very pleasant and professional. The price reflects what you get.

The handle to my room was broken, so I had to switch rooms. The first room I was in was by the indoor pool and smelled strongly of chlorine. Once I changed rooms due to the security issue it was better. Main issue after that was I was again by the indoor pool and there was a group of loud adults “playing” in it until well past midnight. Their laughter and screams kept me up and I had an important business meeting at 8AM the next morning. It would have been nice if the staff enforced quiet hours.

HORRIBLE customer service
Arrived approx 10:30 pm & find ants in the bathroom & around the AC unit. After giving my young daughter a bath, found out there were no bath towels to dry her off. Called & requested them, was told they would send right up. Waited over an hr, called again.(it's now midnight) Was told they'd be @ my door by 7:15am in time for our showers @ 7:30am since we couldn't shower upon arrival w/no towels. Called a 3rd time @ 7:20am, was told we couldn't get them til 8am when housekeepers arrived, yet we were scheduled to leave @ 8:30am. After 4 ph calls & 2 requests to talk to manager, we left with NO progress. (manager never called) At this time, I will be refusing payment & leaving negative reviews. The front desk clerk was extremely helpless & lied several times. Even pretended to be someone "different" when I called the 3rd time, "Oh that wasn't me"....I will never use this hotel again & will be sure to ALWAYS check for towels as soon as we walk in.
Time to retire
This hotel has absolutely zero upgrades. No continental breakfast. The bathrooms are deplorable. It's like a step back in time. The facility is dirty period I wiped up the bathroom floor and took the rag down and showed the people that checked us in and they couldn't believe it. The mat in the bathtub we ripped it out and so that to maintenance and they came and cleaned period the first room was so dirty Number 103 that we had them come and check it. The floor lamp didn't work the heater faceplate fell off on the floor the bathroom actually had chunks of stuff on the floor and under the vanity. They moved us to room 104 and again the bathroom was deplorable. I think a businessman if he had guts enough to do it would be a good person to stay there. I do not think that it's family-friendly because of the field. We will never stay there again. I did not want to do any reviews because I did not want to slam this hotel. Over the years we have stayed there many many times with a handicapped husband. But we're done now that she's no longer with us. We make trips to Boise at least once a month .
Location is good if you have an early morning flight.
Definitely not a 3 star hotel. Dated facility that is overpriced.
The room was pretty good size. Staff was polite and friendly. The place looked really nice. 3 minutes from the airport and 1 minute to get on the highway. 15 minutes away from downtown so you're close to everything but can still sleep at night without the noise.
The key card kept getting deactivated even though ours never touched any cell phones since one was inside the car compartment and the other in my wallet. The guests next to us complained that theirs all deactivated too and there were 5 of them. One of them disn't even have a cell phone. It wouldnt be too bad if our room wasn't so far. Other than that everything was great. Easy access to the parking lot... Unless your key card is deactivated, then you gotta go to the front desk.
