Pros: The hotel décor/beautiful!
Cons: This is very minor, but hearing local traffic...
Pros: Some of the hotel staff was very friendly. The first girl I spoke to acted as if it was a burden to answer any of my questions.
Cons: I just thought id be getting more for a "superior suite." The room was an hour and a half late getting ready, I was nearly late to my friends wedding because of it.
Overall experience was not impressed

Pros: Full kitchen
Cons: Non smoking
Pros: Great location for a parent with an LSU student. Loved being able to use the gym next door. The nicest staff and an awesome breakfast.
Pros: Check in was easy and fast, the room was comfortable and clean.
Cons: The room was just a little bit worn and shabby. Nothing serious. Breakfast was a bit blah - I don't like my OJ that diluted. These are minor issues. I would come here again without hesitation.
Pros: convenient to city
Cons: Room had a bad smell, pull out couch was very uncomfortable even for the kids and breakfast only served after 07:30am on weekends, so for the 2 days we spent there we weren't able to have it, as we had events planned.
Pros: Our stay was very pleasant and peaceful, which is exactly what we'd hoped for.
Pros: Beautiful hotel. Exceptionally clean and spacious rooms!
Pros: Allowed pets; had pet area too for them to walk and poop bags.

Pros: The rooms were nicer than many that I have stayed in when in Las Vegas. The staff were all friendly and welcoming.
Cons: The restaurant choices were limited - a sports bar, a steak house, a "cafe" with food that hat been sitting forever, and the grossly overpriced buffet. Unless one likes king crab legs (which we don't), the rest of the food was mediocre quality. I've had much better food at my local Luby's for 1/4 of the cost. There is really no where else to go around the casino to eat.

Pros: The hotel is in a great spot downtown. We woke up Saturday morning and walked to the farmers market for breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. The room was quiet and clean.
Cons: No refrigerator. No bottles of water(didn't care if they would have been $4).

Pros: The location was great. The hot breakfast was good. The deal I got for 2 nights was excellent.
Cons: It would have been nice to have grits as part of the breakfast buffet. It is Louisiana after all. I would have preferred to not have feather filled pillows. My son is allergic to them.
Pros: the location and the decorations in the spaces provided me
Pros: The location was everything!!! We were in the middle of everything, restaurants and stores. Right by the hwy...it was perfect.
Pros: It was near my family And restaurants.

Cons: Nothing negative to say at all.
Pros: Staff was very friendly. The room was huge with an awesome couch and desk. Breakfast area was nice and large with good options.
Cons: It is difficult to get into the shopping area the hotel is located in if you are not familiar with the area. The hallway of the hotel had a musty sort of odor to it

Pros: Great location right off the highway, quiet hotel with ample parking, clean room and comfortable bed.
Cons: Expensive for a La Quinta, but after shopping around it was the best price for the quality and location.
Cons: last night had someone talking all night long, could hear through the walls.
Pros: Clean and new. Staff very responsive. Everything in good working order. Pool is relatively large (for a hotel). It looked very inviting, but a little late in the year to swim. It is also well screened from surrounding properties and hotel lobby. The breakfast hostess was extremely helpful and courteous. Property has undeveloped land on one side, and even numbered rooms look out on this wooded area. A little nicer than the totally built up areas.
Cons: Breakfast lacked some healthy items. Suggest more fruit. Suggest having oatmeal pre-made rather than packets. Coffee supplied 24/7, but no tea! No tea at breakfast, either. There was one unsettling incident of a loud row between (apparently) a worker and manager. This was out of sight, but anyone on the first floor could probably hear it. Maybe this can't be avoided on rare occasions, but it spoils the ambience, to put it mildly. Seating was a little unusual in the breakfast area, with two big tables seating 8 each and only 3 tables seating 2 each.

Pros: The staff was all very friendly and welcoming.
Cons: The food was not good. The breakfast buffet was cold, out of several items. In Room dining menu had items on the menu that weren't available in the kitchen.
The kitchen and bar were closed on Saturday night, 1/28/17 bc "the chef had a personal emergency". That sounds like a missed opportunity for revenue as well as services to the guests.
Cons: Arrived late. Front Desk Clerk on a personal phone call. Waited 15 Minutes to be checked-in.
Room felt cramped, weird layout.
Sheets didn't fit the bed had to fix it throughout the night.
Room service came early while we were still n the room. Asked if they could come back later. When we returned at 11:30 pm the room was still untouched.
Ran out to toilet paper, had to go the the desk to request fresh towels and coffee.
Not at all what I am used to with Hilton properties.
Pros: The staff was super friendly. The room and facility were very clean. Appreciate the effort to be green with the divided trash cans though a liner in the"trash" side would be nice.
Cons: Restaurant prices were high for what you get. The pool is very small.
Pros: I love the comfort and appearance of the room. Front desk person was very friendly and helpful
Cons: Closing of pool was too early for the weekend
Pros: Friendly staff, very accommodating
Cons: I was pleased with it all
Pros: We travelled all over the north east and payed hundreds of dollars on hotels (one was $800 for two nights) this hotel beat all of them in price and luxury! Perfect size safe and BEAUTIFUL rooms. Happiest I've ever been spending money on a room.

Pros: Staff went out of their way to locate and assemble clothing articles left behind and arranges to mail
Pros: Booked the suite and was very impressed. I had forgotten my AC phone charger and checked with the front desk to borrow one left by another guest. The desk clerk could not find one but was very gracious and lent me his personal changer.
Cons: The breakfast buffet could be improved upon as the egg and cheese omelet that was provided was not very appetizing.

Cons: The toilet in our room did not flush. Needed new valve and flapper. Told front desk three times about it but nothing was done. Facility is getting a little dated and it appears they are not maintaining it very well.
Pros: Can't check in late. Phones not working. Staff nice but incompetent. Rooms are updated ok with nice decor and large tv. Huge mall across the street. Many restaurants across the street. Last time there was a wasp nest inside my room. This time it was just not very clean and key didn't work when I moved in room. Couldn't add on a day to my Rez I had to start my Rez over completely. Computers go down at 2 am CST so u can't check in after that. Front doors locked and no one can check in. Even if you get them to open door. They cancel your room. And "close the books"
Cons: Can't check in late. Phones not working. Staff nice but incompetent. Rooms are updated ok with nice decor and large tv. Huge mall across the street. Many restaurants across the street. Last time there was a wasp nest inside my room. This time it was just not very clean when I moved in room.
Pros: Very friendly staff
Cons: AC in room didn't work. Room was suffocatingly hot. Staff said it was normal and basically said tough luck.
Pros: Convenient location, easy to find off the highway. Bed very comfortable. Nice shower. Also liked the two separate sink areas for coffee and bathroom.
Cons: I just looked at my bank statement and it appears that I was over-charged. There was no receipt when checking out and It did take a while to check out. I was expecting the total to be $115 with tax, but I see an EXTRA $15.00 was charged!? We did not have any incidentals and we didn't even have a key to the room because of a recent storm that broke the key system.
128 rooms refrigerator, coffee maker, wet bar, iron & ironing board, separate sleeping and living areas designed for business or family travel. Close to downtown, petro-chemical and state government business and right across the street from the Mall of Louisiana.
Pros: Very clean and comfortable , staff was very helpful
Pros: The room was impeccable. The front desk, maid, luggage handler, and all phone reps were beyond friendly. I wish I had gotten their names for praise to the managers. Especially considering how busy they must of have been for the holiday, they went above and beyond. The view from our room (river) was perfect and the fireworks show from the pool deck gave me chills! The restaurant staff... Let's see. I placed a breakfast order to go about an hour before they stopped serving on July 4. All staff was wonderful, and I have no complaints. They went above and beyond. While the food was good (lacking much flavor, but cooked okay), the service got them a 30% tip on a to go order.
Cons: On July 5, I dined alone and ordered the buffet. My 'server' must have partied a bit too hard the night before. All she served me - without me having to ask - was the check, which she brought as soon as I got my food, right after I had to ask for my first water a second time. The buffet had a nice spread, but I guess she assumed that since she didn't have to serve my food, I wouldn't need service at all. I had to ask for refills twice more. She got a 10% tip, and I should have just given that directly to the busser. I was confused about the pool. They gave all of these rules about passes for guests, with it being the 4th. So, I followed the rules and turned 4 people away (my parents and their two out of town friends) from watching with us at the pool. During the show, we were surrounded by loud, obnoxious people NOT WEARING THE 'REQUIRED' WRIST BANDS. if they're going to set restrictions, they should stick to them. Obviously those who don't follow, will also tend to be disrespectful to those around them.
Also, not the hotel's fault, I blame parents... The kids were in the pool ALL DAY splashing everyone. I know my mom wouldn't have stood for that. And maybe they should have someone by the pool making sure that all guests can enjoy the amenities, rather than just the children and the parents who used the pool as included childcare.
Also, I found out later that the free buffet that was to be for paying guests was in the lobby and the staff said free food from 7-9. We all assumed it was by the pool since the wrist bands were for the pool area. So, we missed out on that and paid for the pool deck food, which was okay.
Pros: The maintainable crew was amazing and deserve a raise
Cons: The room was to small for the money I paid
Pros: Loved the location, ease of getting around downtown BR, Live after Five was awesome. Need new pillows. Had a great time.
Pros: Really great on the first night. We had the pool to ourselves. It got a bit crowded after that but understandably since it was the holiday weekend. Overall a good place to stay --- but I found the city itself a little depressing!
Cons: Overall a good place to stay --- but I found the city itself a little depressing!

Pros: The location was great! Rooms were big and the bathroom was roomy.
Cons: There were renovations going on which I was not told about when I called the hotel the day before to confirm my reservation. The outdoor renovations were "closed" down around 5pm so noise wasn't a problem. The problem was that they were updating some kind of wiring inside the hotel and there were wires hanging from the ceiling on my floor in lots of places, ceiling dust and wood was also all over the floor. This gave the whole interior a dirty, dusty smell and look. I may return once all of the renovations are complete, but I felt that the staff should have given me the renovation information so that I could have made the decision to stay there or not!
