the location to the convention center, it was awesome and the location to disneyland - great walking distance to all areas so the location was the best for me The internet was really bad. We had drop off's after paying and at least for two PC's we were unable to get back on after paying. I did get my money back on one PC but not the other. Not good at all should be up all the time.
great location to Conference centre and disneyland, food etc. Not a hotel as such, no hotwater jug, no fridge or mini bar, no milk on 2nd day. no room service food.
I like everything about this hotel None
it was close to disney and shopping no
location + staff high price + parking value
I liked being able to walk to the convention center. I didn't like the size of the rooms for the price. I have paid less in Vegas and Palm Springs to have a double bedroom. Plus I was unaware that not only was I paying extra for taxes, but that I was paying a nightly fee to Valet until I arrived at the Hilton. So an additional 60.00 a day was added to my bill which was not a wonderful surprise for a family attending a cheer competition. This will make us look else where next year.
Nice hotel, clean, good staff. Big room, comfortable bed Lots of extras (have to pay for internet, to go to gym). Lobby is dark and brooding.
the room quality was excellent. it was too busy and we were not notified of the large crouds to be expected which meant we couldnt use the hotel faciliities as we would have liked to at times
Good overall. No free wifii internet. It should be free because every other hotel offers free wireless.
I like the attention afforded by your counter staff, the services given by the SuperShuttle as it was not a hassle requesting for a pick-up service on our trip to Arizona, the serenity of the place and lastly, its nearness to disneyland where we had not encourted hassle getting a ride. the hotel my consider adding some fastfood outlets to cater to other international tastes.
staff are nice and attentive
The grounds were beautiful and the desk staff were amazing. The food was very good. Close to Disney. Hot water problems, we were woken up after 11pm and they tried to get in our room. Told us someone on the next floor didn't have any hot water, he wanted to check ours. Said it was fine. Next morning our shower ran out of hot water. Called again, somebody else came up and changed the valve. It was an annoyance.
We were a couple wanting a king size bed, which we reserved and the hotel gave us a room eith two doubles and would not make any accomodations for the fact that they allegedly did not have any king beds. So we opted to go somewhere else.
Extremely close to Anaheim convention center where I was attending a trade show. Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Comfortable lobby bar for relaxation after a day on the trade show floor. Good restaurant and food. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any business traveler.
The housekeeping staff was very efficient and really tried to accommodated my needs. Having to pay for Wi-Fi (I think it was $12.95 for regular service and $14.95 for high speed). And for parking: $24.00 per nite. I'm guessing this might be the industry standard in this area, but what a shame
I really like the staff there was a young lady that helped me at the desk she was amazing. I had booked thru a third party and there was some errors she corrected them and got me adjoining rooms for my kids that drive in the next day.
LOCATION the rooms under the rate that you offer me, are old and dirty rooms. this situation happened to me several times. On front desk, as soon as they saw that my reservation is mad by you, they make me feel like low profile customer.
After discussing with manager Francisco for some time he reluctantly offered some compensation other than a token $50. The convention center is right out the front door and parking is the best for the Anaheim convention center. I prepaid for my room over 3 months in advance and Marriott decided they could make more money by selling my already paid for and booked room to someone else and then tell I'm sorry. So after having my money, making interest on it they then sold the same room to someone else at a higher price and said sorry we don't have a room for you, sorry for the inconvenience. We'll put you (my wife, kids and myself) in another hotel away from your convention where you are an exhibitor, cosplaying and on panels. Unfortunately this is the 4th time in a row that Marriott has severely under performed. This is no longer an isolated incident but a complete brand change from the Marriott I have always know. I would rate them at a 2 star at best with the new corporate image they have chosen. However the alternate hotel where they referred my Hyatt House was awesome. I wish they were at the convention center and I had booked with them. Marriott said I will have to contact Kayak to get refunded on the night that that Marriott did not have a room for me. Just one more hassle and present from Marriott for me. Oh and they gave me a "I'm sorry give bag" in the room with a different guest name on (evidently they did this to a min of 5 other individuals) and the 4 little chocolates we so awful that my 8 year old sone who will eat anything asked me if he could spit it out in the trash. I of course said yes and I had the same simultaneous reaction. I'll leave it at this.
Great loacation and staff was outstanding Noise from fitness club could be heard every morning beginning at 5:00 AM. Restaurant prices were a bit high for goods received
Close to Disneyland and it's a nice area No body soap or toilet paper was in the room and had to pay to park and pay for internet
There were ants in my bathroom on the day I arrived and I told about that to the people at the lobby but housekeeping never came within 20 minutes, which they promised. When I left I told them what happened but they never did anything to compensate for the filthy bathroom that I got. Very disappointed.
Gluten free food
The balcony was a cool area. The heating/cooling unit was EXTREMELY loud! The room itself was okay, but to charge guests that are staying at the hotel $25 per night for parking is pretty ridiculous and excessive. Furthermore, this hotel still charges its guests for internet acess!!?? This is the first time I have been charged for WIFI in California is the past 5 years. Get with the times, Marriot. The hotel wasn't that great to begin with.
The hotel, staff, location, facilities and basically all needs were very well addressed and made the stay wonderful. I couldn't have found a better place to stay to make the trip to Disneyland a great experience I really have no complaints about any aspect of my stay at the hotel
The staff were very helpful and really went the extra mile to make our stay a special one. Our room had an amazing view of the park and the pool was a great spot to relax in, and the poolside bar was very affordable! Would recommend staying here to anyone.
From the staff to the amenities this hotel was top notch.
Easy to find. Easy access to Disneyland from where they're located Checking in and not being told about the fee for parking. The broken shower Possible black mold growing in the corners of the shower With this being called a 4 star hotel I was very disappointed in the facility.
Great hotel, cleanliness was great, staff were extra nice, for a big hotel close to Disneyland it was not overly crowded Hotel has no shuttle to Disneyland, this is probably the only one downside
Great service and the staff was very friendly and nice.
Location was great. The shower could use some updates.
Location to Disneyland. The A/C did not work in the room, as soon as we walked in the hotel room there was a strong weird smell. We had to leave the sliding door open to vent out the smell. Not to mention the ants roaming freely in the room. I also noticed a flaw in security, as in I cannot recall seeing any on the premises. One is able to walk through the hotel like nothing, I did not feel safe at this hotel.
Close to Disneyland The in house restaurant has aweful service. I went when there were less than 10 customers and never had water or even saw our waiter. Other tables were requesting their waiter. Not a good experience. I wont stay here again.
Location. Quality not inpar with other Sheraton hotels
location rooms need updating, very old and worn out. TV was broken and did not work. Staff did nothing to fix it.
Earlier check in. Charged $18 for parking.
Thin exterior walls. Could hear all the service vehicles making deliveries and pick ups early in the morning.
Convenient location to Disneyland, Anaheim stadium, Honda center and freeways. Quiet, comfortable rooms, free breakfast, free evening snacks and free internet Tiny lobby with little room during evening snacks
I ENJOYED MY STAY AT AYRES. THE STAFF WAS WONDERFUL, AND I FELT COMFORTABLE THERE. GREAT KITCHENETTE AND LOTS OF SPACE AND WORK FEEL. I WASN'T A FAN OF EXTRA PARKING COSTS NOR THE LONG HALLWAYS, WHICH EVENTUALLY I LEARNED THAT IT WAS QUICKER TO GO IN AND OUT THROUGH THE STAIRS OF ONE SIDE OF THE BUILDING.
Very friendly staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds! Will definitly stay here again! N/a
Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Very noisy building. Had to sleep with air conditioning on in o Order to try to sleep.
Breakfast buffet was very beneficial for my family. With four young children it's one of the reasons my wife and I prefer your hotel over others. I wasn't aware that if I used handicapped parking during my entire stay, that I would still get charged a $10 daily fee. That seems very odd considering that any vehicle with a valid handicap placard, can't be towed anyway. You may also want to reconsider the setup of rooms for those who are staying with small children. The Portofinos selling point for me was the bunk beds for the kids and the sliding doors that separate the kids room from the parents room. Please consider adding at least three 2.1 amp USB ports to your rooms. A digitally connected family like mine would greatly benefit if there are various charging points for our phones and tablets.
Loved the breakfast and friendly staff! Quiet, comfortable hotel! Would recommend to anyone!! Didn't like paying extra for parking.
Drove up from San Diego for a hockey game at Honda Center and stayed here for the night. Couldn't ask for better location. On top of that staff is friendly and rooms were clean and comfortable! Oh and happy hour 5:30-6:30 includes free drinks and appetizers! Awesome!
the room size, amenities, cleanliness, privacy, quietness, but most of all the very professional and helpful staff nothing
Breakfast was fantastic. Pay for parking? I already apid for the room, now I need to pay for my one and only car to use your parking lot? It should be for guests and should be included in my room price. Separate sitting room in this "suite" is a joke. Its a table in the same room as the beds. That is NOT separate.
Traveled as a multi-generational family group. We greatly appreciated how soundproof this hotel is. Plenty of water pressure at the right temperature too. And enough elevators for minimal wait time. We could have used electrical outlets for cell phones at the bedside but this is a minor improvement suggestion.
overall the pools + the room were OK no breakfast, not enough characters plqying with kids unless you make it at Goofy's
I pretty much LOVED everything about the Disneyland Hotel ... The hype is true We didn't get a discount with our Annual Passes
Our stay was for our 30th wedding anniversary, and the hotel staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, & special. Although the prices seem a little high for most people, our stay was very enjoyable. We will be returning in the future. The only negatives to our trip were the Disneyland Railroad, Haunted Mansion, and River Boats were closed. Also, I was looking for a Disneyland Railroad Engineer hat, but was only able to find a Conductor's hat.. Lastly, there were no hats for the Disneyland Monorail.
Our room was great, and so was every cast member. I couldnt buy the throw pillow which was on each bed.
Love the themes and decor, and the perks that come with staying at a Disneyland resort hotel. The headboard that lights up and plays music (and serves as a great nightlight) is lovely. We had a room in the Adventure Tower facing Downtown Disney this time, and while we didn't care about the view (in this case, plants from the Adventure garden blocked pretty much anything we could see from the 2nd floor), what we didn't like was how loud the music was from Downtown Disney. We also learned that although we could only see a tiny amount of fireworks from Disneyland, we could hear all of them and they were pretty much as loud as they are when you're in the park. I'm still shocked that my kids slept through the music and fireworks that first night. On our third night, the older one was still awake when they started and used earplugs to get to sleep. The live music didn't stop until 10 pm even on weeknights, which meant we didn't get to enjoy the peace and quiet of the room (after being in the parks all day) until then. If you're not bothered by noise, it won't be a problem, but if you are, consider requesting a pool-view room.
Walking distance to enter the park via the Grand Californian Hotel and Downtown Disney. Good, basic hotel room to stay in close to the parks. Checked in at 11pm, walked all the way to the room with a tired wife and tired 4 year old. Room key did not work. Walked all the way back and the staff did not apologize at all. Just made a new key and said "you should be good." Small but infuriating detail. Breakfast time is a zoo.
Friendly staff. Good value. Room was nice. Breakfast needs improvement. Ran out of forks and orange juice. Quite a long walk to Downtown Disney.
Bed was comfortable Had to pay $10 a day to park and they didn'thave enough parking spots. The ACTUAL didn't cool the room. The complimentary breakfast was crowded ,place was dirty and the food was awful. Asking help with direction was pitiful
Bed was very comfortable and staff was friendly. Breakfast orange juice was very watery and they were out of forks.
Crazy close to Disneyland, the staff was really nice and breakfast was fantastic. Had to pay 10$ a night for parking extra which was a surprise.
Room was clean Separate shower and sink area a plus Included breakfast was awesome.
Didn't like that we have to pay $10 a night for parking and the noise level was terrible
We stayed at this hotel while in town for Disneyland's Half Marathon Weekend. Overall, great value for the money, clean, and proximity to Disney Parks was especially convenient. The A/C unit is a bit loud, which makes it hard to sleep or hear your tv.
The location was fantastic as it's across the street to Disneyland California Adventure. The rooms have been maintained well or have been remodeled recently and include a decent sized mini-fridge. Free continental breakfast was nice to have. Parking was easy. Hot tea b and pool were nice and had a great view of nightly Disney fireworks. Overall it was a good value. The beds were substandard. They were like sleeping on a trampoline. The pillows were so thick and dense they were uncomfortable. But the comforters were thin, not much thicker than sheets. The hotel was very busy, and so the breakfast was a disaster to access and they were out of half of the items early. The elevator was out of order so I had to carry my heavy bags to the third floor. You can hear people walk past your room or talking outside the room.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, check in and out was super easy. Stuff was super friendly. Love the free breakfast, it really helps you save money if you have a full breakfast you can last until a early dinner. Only a few min walk to park... Carpet was a little outdated.
We arrived EARLY and they accommodated our early check in thanks to an empty room. The room itself was clean me organized. The sheets were fresh, the mattresses soft and supportive, but the bathroom was tiny and the rugs a little worn. We enjoyed the free breakfast, though the selection is rather limited. The staff was friendly and attentive, had answers for all my questions. Even the people staying alongside us were pleasant and non-disruptive. Having stayed in the other best western's around, this by far was the best experience. I honestly have no negative reviews.
Breakfast Price Location
Magic hour and distance from park entrances I thought the rooms would be high tech and more luxurious for the cost. It was a cleaner motel. Not as nice I as I expected
The room was very nice and the view was amazing. No complaints, we got a great deal and would stay here again.
Close to theme park with early entrance Very noisy, staff unappreciative of guests, staff non responsive to complaints, room service quality is mediocre.
I stayed at the Paradise Pier Hotel several times. I love how roomy it is and very relaxing! I like the view from the rooms...one side you can watch World of Color with the television playing the sounds for the show! We stay with a family of four, there is a sofa that turns into a bed. The toiletries are very nice!!! If you stay at a Disney property, you can use the special entrance from the Grand Californian. The Surfside Lounge is a bar/ snack shop you can warm up food (there is a microwave!) and pick up utensils (fork, knife, spoon or condiments). I personally like the vending machines on the ground floor..it is in a room by itself! PCH Grill is great during breakfast and looks fun at dinner time too! I whole hearted recommend staying here with everybody!! Upper level soda machines take only credit cards. Wish there was more food eateries.
You have to pay for parking while you paying to stay at the hotel. Didn't like that you had to pay for parking.
The location was great for getting to the Disney parks. The hotel was a 10 minute walk from my hotel room door to the park gates. There are many restaurants within walking distance.
The staff was wonderful. The lobby is nice for kids and the area in front is a nice place to relax. Parking fees are annoying and at $18 would cause me to stay elsewhere. The "do not disturb" door sign was removed and we were woken up daily. The room seemed nicer online, these beds appear to be triple sheeted but are not. The dwcorative features were not in all rooms. TV is a bit low for viewing. The housekeeping and other staff are LOUD in the hallways by rooms.
Friendly staff, clean room, wonderfully comfortable beds. Also the availability of computers and printer for return flight booking passes
great for disneyland adventure
Ideal for a small family to enjoy Disney without paying the cost of being on site. Sleeping in is hard with everyone leaving to make park open all at the same time.
Walking distance to Disney Not breakfast complementary no microwave in the rooms
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Easy walking distance to Disneyland. There was a hotel being built right next door, which meant waking up to construction early every morning. It sounded like there was hammering right outside our window. However, this wasn't the hotel's fault, just an annoying coincidence. Overall it was a great place to stay.
How close it was to Disneyland, Disney California and Downtown Disney. Right across the street from the park entrance. Spacious room, comfortable beds, blackout drapes,
Local and clean
Close to Disneyland and restaurants. Safe in room. Towels nice and thick. Clean rooms and property. Handy store. Just barely enough parking spaces, and it costs $9 per day. Store items a bit pricey.
Close to disneyland
its availability to my needs without going far
Location It was dirty, full of bugs and needs some serious renovating.
Great location for the theme park, clean rooms, friendly of staff. There was a little market and coffee bar on site that was convenient.
Room cleanliness. Pool near Disneyland Everything was great
We stayed here since we couldn't get into (what used to be) our favorite place a few doors down. From the second we got there everything was pleasent and clean. The front desk got us sorted out quick, which was much appreciated as we had just spent 10 hours on a small motorcycle, and our room was nice and quiet. I had read some other reviews about the "outrageous" parking fee which turned out to be $9 a night which didn't bother me. They have valet, but you don't have to use them if you don't want to. They sell 2-5 day park hopper tickets right there for the same price as the gate so I didn't have to wait at the line for tickets which was great!!! There is a small attached cafe which sells the typical Starbucks-ish fare and has some grocery items and souvineers as well. The walk to the park is almost the closest walk you could have, only one hotel closer. If you are still awake after your day at Disneyland there are plenty of channels on the TV, and they are clear. Overall we had a great expirience and this will be our first choice on future visits. I really don't have any complaints. Some will complain about the parking rate, but as far as I can tell everyone is charging about the same so to me it was a non-issue.
Incredibly clean room on the first floor (of 2). We were there for 5 days, and originally we thought we'd only be there at night after full days at Disney. We ended up coming back each day for about an hour or two during the hottest part of the day (and to avoid some crowds!). A small fridge to keep things cool, the bed was very comphy, a lot of pillows to choose from. Some other guests would slam the doors occasionally, but nothing the hotel can really do about that. We didn't have a car so didn't have to worry about parking. Looked like there was plenty of room, slots were probably a little closer together than my car would've like but that's just me being a little picky. It is litterally 100 yards from the Disney tickets stands, or you can buy in the lobby. Service was pretty quick checking in and out. The little shop has a bunch of travel items and small snacky items and plenty to drink. Pretty much anything a traveler would need. Only problem, and this is really minor, is that the toilet would slip occasionally and not fill the tank in order to flush again. Simple fix, just take off the top and push down on the pump thing, works good. No other problems with our stay!
Nicely updated. Having a k-cup coffee maker was nice Front desk was friendly and quick Would have been better if the room had a mini fridge. Maids started vaccumming the hallways at 730-800 every morning not a nice way to wake up. No free breakfast.
Location is excellent Wi if on worked for few hours out of my 3 day stay. It was reported on several occasions to no avail.
The Red Lion had all the facilities we needed and then some. Our only complaint was with room cleanup and the lack of supply restocking, such as coffee, sugar, etc. and the general straightening of the room. They didn't remake my bed. See above.
Perfect location in relation to Disneyland. Also the staff were exceptionally well at their job. The rooms were spacious and well furnished. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were definitely uncomfortable. Also the trash was left in the hallways from other rooms meaning that room service did not always collect the trash.
very convenient location to convention center room décor is dated, pillows were lumpy/old, breakfast buffet was not good. price for value was high for expensive tradeshow hotel rate
The location is great. Disneyland, several restaurants and a CVS are all within easy walking distance. The booking website listed "free continental breakfast" as an amenity. It is not free. The hotel charges for breakfast and daily parking. The "free" WiFi was terrible. The room also could have been cleaner; there was still a sock on the floor from a previous occupant.
Restaurant Quietness Proximity to the park No free breakfast 14 dollar per day parking charge
Spacious and friendly
Good price for location and proximity to park. Super hot in the hallways.... Room AC worked fine but the hallways need AC.
The hotel was very close to Disneyland Resort and I was able to walk right over to the park, so that was extremely convenient. The price was comparable with other hotels in the area. Staff was very friendly at check in. Parking was not included in the cost of the stay, which at a comparable hotel in the area, it is complimentary. They also charge for their shuttle to the park, where it is complimentary for some nearby hotels. Also, no included breakfast.
Location is awesome Moved to 3 rooms. All AC vents had mold
Disgusting dirty carpets, dirty sink, very uncomfortable bed, shower head not working. Very unfriendly staff. I travel for business every week sometimes to 2 different locations in one week. This by far was the dirtiest hotel with the most uncomfortable bed and the most disgusting bathroom and dirtiest carpet I have ever stayed in. Do not stay here Everything
Courteous, professional, friendly staff. Quiet rooms. Weak wi-fi in the back rooms (10208) section.
Location I like that was closed to Disneyland
Nothing I paid a lot of money for an extremely small room and wasn't very clean
Everything was great Clean rooms, great staff, price was just right, even the food was good ........ unfortunately there was a couple smoking pot at the stairs and the smell went inside our room I don't care if they smoke but I think they shouldn't done were there's young children around....
The room was not clean. With hairs in the shower of previous guests and I found a cockroach inside the room
Location was spot on for Disneyland. I like it even better than the hotels on Harbor for this. Staff was friendly and room and facility were clean. They had a party in the restaurant but we were really pleased it wrapped up before 10 Room was really stale smelling and everything we have smells like that. Bed was really saggy and uncomfortable. broken stuff in the bathroom, Generally needs an update. We were also looking forward to a jacuzzi soak after our run but there wasn't one.
The online company I used for the reservation didn't get it to the hotel in a timely maner, and therefore check-in was delayed
My kids of course loved the pool It did say it was across the street from Disneyland but it was behind the park and was way to far of a walk for my grandfather just to get to entrance.
My experience was unfortunately a very disappointing one. We checked into the hotel and upon walking into our room, discovered our remote control did not work. This was not a problem and I looked past this. The next morning I woke up to a foul smelling bathroom, the shower was filling up with septic water and spilling into our room. I spoke with maintenance and they said they would talk to the font desk about giving us a discount, especially after we paid a significant amount more for our second day there. When checking out, I was told by the front desk to wait to speak to a manager. I then proceeded to wait 15 minutes for said manager and finally lost my patience. I returned to the person at the front desk and they told me "Oh, you were waiting on a manager?", and then said I would have to wait for them longer because they were "helping another guest, OR busy with something else." I simply said thank you and walked away. I have never had such a negative experience at a hotel and would hope that they read this and improve their hospitality. It is such a disappointment for having such a great location and beautiful grounds.
Location was good. It was very close to the Disneyland shuttle. The restaurant was good, and the restaurant staff was friendly and helpful. I dropped money, I.d., and credit cards, and Jeffery found it for me. Thanks Jeffery!! The walls and ceiling were thin, and we got very little sleep. The staff was hit or miss with helpfulness and friendliness. It didn't strike me as that clean. I wouldn't stay there again.
- good location close to Disneyland (though beware.. you now have to do a very annoying walk back across to behind Downtown Disney, rather than go straight up the road. - nice overall hotel - friendly staff - We were placed next to the cleaning supply room. Every morning that room flooded and we stepped out into one inch of water. And of course the housekeeping were very loud in the morning and didn't seem to care about our room. - Our shower was plugged - Dark room, with no privacy
Friendly staff, walking distance to Disneyland Room quality and cleanliness subpar, basic amenities (rollaway bed, pack and play, wifi beyond limited speed on one day) all required an additional charge. The appeal of the price, location, and attractive online photos quickly dissipated once arriving to our actual room. Better off paying a little more for a premium hotel in the area which ends up being around the same, since they won't nickel and dime you the entire stay.
The location is ideal for travelers going to Disneyland if you do not mind a short walk. Our room was not cleaned on either day. The first day we went back to the hotel at 11:30 so I can see why it was not made up yet. The second day, we did not arrive back until 1:50 and the room was still not cleaned.
U had to pay extra for parking
Location was great, Staff was nice, and room suite does bring a smile with all the Disney themes! We had 2 bedroom suite, 1 bed smelled fresh but the second kinda smelled a bit and had 2 long hairs under the sheets! I didn't call them or anything cause we only needed one bed. I would book here again!
Staff friendly and helpful The bed were comfortable
Everyone was really nice, they let me check in late so I could enjoy Disneyland with my family first. Didn't realize but they have shuttle to Disneyland for free. No complaints
Walking distance from downtown Disney. Staff was very friendly. Shuttle pick up was superb. First one on AND first one off. Close to food mart. Restaurant was excellent. Room needed a refrigerator.
Loved everything about this hotel! The breakfast buffet is great and affordable. Very comfortable!
Staff was friendly Room too small /outdated hotel/i was staying on 5th fl and the elevator was broken /no complimentary breakfast
Walking distance from downtown Disney. Staff was very friendly. Recommendation for Shuttle use to/from airport pick up was superb. Restaurant was excellent.
We arrived and checked into our room and as soon as we walked in there was a foul odor in our room. I called the front desk and the sent someone to come and spray sanitizing spray which helped a little but still did not remove the smell of mildew . Figured out it was the blankets that smelled as if they were not washed and dried properly. Next day we left and were gone all day. When returning the smell was overwhelming when we walked back into our room. We went to the front desk and we're given another room. The new room was much better but blankets still had the same slight odor ...not as bad as the other room . All we were compensated was one nights parking.
Checking in upon arrival was made easy, fast and extremely great customer service!
Realy close to the parks, great bed Could have a refrigerator in the room. Paid parking, $10 per night.
I liked that it was so close to Disneyland and Anaheim Garden Walk was right next door. The beds were super comfy and the staff was friendly. It was also nice to have a complimentary breakfast and cup of coffee before our trip to the parks. The walls are paper thin so you can hear guest in the other room at night.
not bad for the price
Clean, reasonably priced, and a short 0.70 mile walk to Disneyland property and several restaurant options. Front desk, maintenance, and housekeeping staff are all very friendly. Free continental breakfast is nothing to write home about, but it is definitely a bonus to hold one over until lunch time at the theme parks. I have stayed here 3 years in a row and plan on returning for future stays. Can't complain about anything other than to forewarn others to not click on any links to the Knights Inn in Anaheim- was unpleasantly surprised to see I was charged a 1 night no-show fee even though I never completed a room reservation transaction with them...another reason to stick with Super 8 on Katella!
Close-ish to Disneyland Breakfast Held bags before room was ready and after checkout Shower did not get hot, tub kept plugging Thin walls Loud parking garage next door Sketchy area late when Disney closes, around a dark corner, bus stops, alleys Not as green as claimed. Continually changed out towels even when left hanging.
Location, location, location East car rental drop, airport shuttle , right close to LAC, Dennies right next door. Staff were perfect.
I like how its conveniently located next to Disneyland, it's not a far walk to and from the park. The breakfast room is nice too, it comes with the room and you can make your own waffles. The only 2 I didn't like is the internet has bad connection, it takes forever to load a video. And the TV doesn't have a port to put in your chrome cast devices in it.
There was trouble finding a parking spot since we arrived late in the evening. Bathroom was small and floor needed to be better cleaned. A/C was hard to adjust
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The kids enjoyed the pool and the cleaning staff was very good. The location was excellent! Overall a great place to be in Anaheim.
Location was good. Ants in the room. Stain on the bed. Dirty carpet. A/c too noisy. Mixed up my check in for someone else.
Location is great, just a little walking distance. The rooms look really nice inside, you wouldn't think so by how simple the exterior looks. Clean, free wifi, cable tv, pool, free breakfast. The only thing I didn't like in my room was the carpet had this thick feel as if soap or something wasn't fully cleaned out of it, so if you walked barefoot you'd feel this on your skin. Maybe needs to clean the carpet completely and get rid of that weird film feel from the carpet.
Comfy and close to disney and the staff is super friendly.
Very clean room and friendly staff
Close proximity to Disney land. Clean and quite. All good
Comfy beds, nice and clean friendly staff. Only a $5 Uber ride to the Disney parks. The restaurant is only open for breakfast and dinner and the cafe is only till 11am kinda sucks when check out is at 11am too and your hungry.
It's close to Disneyland. For the price ($350 for 3 nights) I would stay again. The buffet breakfast was ok but we didn't take them up on their offer to cook the food to order. We ate what already available so we could get to the parks. The rooms are a bit cramped with 4 people but we literally only slept there. We arrived around 11 each night and left by 8 each morning. So the space was manageable since we didn't spend any time in the room. Sleep and showers only. My only negative would be about housekeeping. They never restocked the K-cups for my room. I used 1 the first morning and never received more. They didn't make the kids bed the first morning but we left a suitcase on the bed. So that could be viewed as a positive since they didn't touch our belongings. The second morning I made sure the beds were clear and everything was fine.
The staff was friendly, the room was big and clean. And it was close to everywhere we needed to be. They charged my credit card a $50 "security deposit" when I checked in. I asked the staff why and she said They always do it... They refunded me after I checked out. But it took about 4days to get put back in my bank.
Very clean am done friendly staff.
Pretty clean, Nice modern looking rooms. Close to Disneyland. We enjoyed our stay Coffee kit had no creamer, heater was loud.
IT HAD POOL AND SAUNA. ALSO IT HAD ART BUS SERVICE. THE RESTAURANT FOOD WAS NOT SO GOOD.
Close to Disney Right next to freeway. Thought window was open could hear freeway all night. Also walls vibrated every 30 minutes. Could not sleep at all
The price was good and the hotel is clean. Breakfast was not included. Room is very modest. It was vey clean.
I love how close this hotel is to Disneyland resort. Sure it's not on DLR property, but It is probably the same walking distance from the parks to this hotel as it is to the on property hotels. The family suite was comfy and spacious. We would definitely stay here again. Parking/Valet fee, but it's cheaper than what Disney charges!
Comfortable and close to Disneyland. The pool didn't open until 9, which means we couldn't use i, because by that time we had to be ready for the park. My kids were up at 6:30 and wanted to swim before Disneyland. It was very disappointing for them and we pretty much has nothing to do for several hours.
Proximity to Disneyland can hardly be beat. Standard rooms are decent sized, modern enough amenities. Rooms were clean and housekeeping did a nice job. Friendly front desk and valet, always saying hello. Would DEFINITELY consider staying here again, especially with a decent rate. Not exactly a bargain price, but you're paying to be so close to Disneyland. The surface of the pool deck was a little dingey, but the pool and hottub were both nice enough and in a great spot for viewing the fireworks.
Very clean and large room. Very close walking distance to Disneyland. Very quiet.
Great value for the price. About 1 1/2 miles from Disneyland entrance. A few restaurants within walking distance You have to pay for parking
Great location Small room for our two girls and us.
A perfect spot to be within walking distance of Disneyland for overnight accommodations at a family friendly price. Great value! The pool was heated and you can easily see the fireworks from the 4th floor if the little ones are too tired to go to the park.
Staff were very friendly and rooms are very clean. They had the room ready quickly. I did not like to parking charge. I think parking should me included in the hotel service
Room size. Pool. Cleanliness. Friendly, thorough housekeeping. Great shower head Cable channel system. No refill on sweeter and creamer for coffee on second morning.
Parking very convienent and We liked the fact that the room had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Concierge and parking attendants were excellent. Keep up the great work.
Location wasn't bad for Disney. Friendly staff... Not clean. Washed my face, stuck my head into a towel, and pulled someone else's hair from my mouth. We couldn't change, for the second night, (16 hours of Disney) but we didn't touch anything.Wouldn't recommend, wouldn't stay there again. The couch in our room was collapsed. Old and quaint is one thing, old and destroyed/filthy is another. Breakfast was minimal (no protein) and parking was not great. Too many choices here not to be of better quality. Good luck to them!
Hotel Peppertree is a great place to stay. This was my second time staying here in two months. I'm a solo traveler and visit Anaheim for business often. The room is definitely spacious for one person. It has a King sized bed and an extra bed on the side, a couch and a kitchenette. One can definitely use this place for an extended stay. Although I do love the charming touch of the lion head fountain that was on the patio, the noise from the water can be a bit annoying. But it was definitely fixable. I will definitely stay here again.
The hotel was an easy journey to and from Disneyland. The room offered one adult and two children room to spread out a bit. The refrigerator froze our produce at the lowest setting, but the kitchenette was stocked with silverware and knives as well as pots and pans and cups. Not the best part of town, but it met our needs for a trip to Disneyland
The proximity to the parks was great! Very close to Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm, plenty of restaurants close by, free parking, kitchenette in room w/ full size fridge, and private patio. The actual location, not so great. Area is a little shady and we wouldn't have walked around outside at night. Air conditioner was old and loud, we had to cool the room before going to sleep and then turn the A/C off when we went to sleep because we couldn't sleep with it on. Walls/ceiling were very so even though there were quiet hours after 10pm, you could easily hear people in the hall/above you/next to you. I wouldn't really consider the free breakfast a real breakfast. More like packaged snacks, cereal, bread, and water/coffee. Bring your own breakfast items or you'll be hungry/disappointed.
Excellent staff, welcoming decor/ambiance, excellent location, great market across the street The loud neighbors on every side. Kids jumping off the bed, people using the outside stairs like a jungle gym...hard to fall asleep , woke up early each day to neighbor noise.
Cozy home feel
My room was very inexpensive and it came with 2 large beds, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a living room area as well as a balcony. The staff was very nice to me and allowed me to have my friends from the area come visit my room for no charge. The surrounding area (within walking distance) was a bit sketchy, but I didnt have any trouble going to the small plaza across the street for a few groceries.
We really liked the decore and atmosphere of the hotel and room. The room was really spacious and the balcony was pretty neat even though the view wasnt that great. At 8am the maids started cleaning and the noise woke me and my boyfriend. We could hear them up and down the halls, banging their cleaning carts around and yelling at each other. The noise was so loud it seemed like the maids were inside our room.
The lay out was great! Lots of space specially for us 4. My sons could sit on the couches and we could nap on the beds. Across the street is this axing Peruvian restaurant, don't be turn off by the appearance, best Peruvian food I had in OC and I grew up there. Across the street is Mexican groceries, fresh bread! And whole chicke meals for 4 for $12-15! the fridge was normal size, which is great for left overs and juices. No stove, heating cool, but we didn't need it. The drawers squeak because they are wood on wood - not much of a complain.
