Pros: Friendly, welcoming staff. Accommodation bigger than expected with kitchen area, lounge, bedroom and shower room. It was all immaculately clean and the towels and bedding were of a good quality. The fridge had milk in it which was lovely as we could immediately have a cup of tea after our long journey. Thank you. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Cons: A bit stuffy in the rooms - the windows only opened a small way at the top so there was no air flow which made it hard to sleep.

Cons: The 2 bedroom apartment we were given had only 1 bathroom. Explaining the fact we had 2 toddlers and we are 2 couples and it was supposed to have 2 bathrooms one of the receptionist was willing to provide us an alternative to have 2 bathrooms . However the other receptionist interfered and insisted he talk to his senior manager, for which we had to wait a while . Previously the receptionist had confirmed he would provide us an alternative with out any additional cost, however subsequent to his talk with his colleagues who had interfered in providing the alternative and his senior manager he came back saying he would not be able to provide anything with 2 bathrooms and if required will have to pay additional charges . Also said there will not be any option for us other than paying the 2 nights we had confirmed . We were there for 2 nights and the senior manager never made any effort in the subsequent days to talk to the customer either.

Cons: We booked a suite and the sitting area sofa was dirty so I asked for a clean duvet cover so that we could sit in there. In the booking information it said that there were 2 tv's, 1 in bedroom and 1 in sitting room. There was only 1 tv in bedroom so asked for the other, which was later supplied. The signal was poor in both rooms Several of the light fittings were not working, and even though it was reported no-one did anyting about the problem We had requested 2 extra pillows and had to ask for them as i have fracturd my collar bone and have to sleep sitting up. The hot breakfast on the first morning was barely warm and we came down at 8.45 On the second morning we had both decided to request omelette, which was freshly cooked and hot To make a cup of tea the vacuum flask that said 'hot water' was actually tepid water and undrinkable for tea so my husband asked for a teapot of boiling water both days We have stayed at Garden Inns before in various locations and never before been dissatisfied, that is why we booked with you.

When I collected it, it was complete and undamaged.

Cons: As with a lot of hotels the walls were quite thin so could hear everything that happened in the hallway (even when people were trying to be quiet). The mattress was very uncomfortable and felt quite old and lumpy which meant we woke up feeling rather achy in the mornings.

Cons: We emailed ahead with dietary requirements and received a swift, affirmative reply but at breakfast we were not well catered for unfortunately. We do not eat meat or dairy but there were few alternatives; no dairy free yoghurt or veggie sausages and when I asked for a butter alternative (ie: margarine) we were told that the hotel did not have any so we ate our toast dry. We were a little disappointed in this as we had been reassured in the email from the hotel that there would be options for us to eat at breakfast. Bit of a shame really.

Cons: We were first put in a small room with a double bed but I asked to be moved the next day. The extra things in your room like tea, soap, shower gel etc was hardly ever replenished. I kept on having to phone for teabags. We got one soap for the basin and bath for two people. The reading lights weren’t working and weren’t fixed. I did report it . The toilet roll holder kept falling off the wall. This hotel has many many stairs in many places and definitely not suitable for elderly people.

Pros: Club Room was excellent. Hairdryer iron, ironing board, safe fridge tea coffee making facilities all in room. Breakfast was included and you get vouchers for a drink in the bar for each night of your stay. Staff were pleasant and helpful nothing was too much bother.
Cons: Room was very warm even with heating off. Fan was supplied in Club Room thankfully.

Cons: The bathroom was so dirty with slime & cobwebs. The shower flooded the bathroom as there was no seal along the bottom of the shower screen. NOT clean at all. We had three rooms in four days. Our bedding was dirty with other people's hairs left on our bedding.

Pros: - for one night it is okay - it is in the middle of the town, near by the train station - good choice of breakfast (from 6 A.M) - very nice people who work in the hotel
Cons: - the interior is very old and not very comfortable - in comparison to all the lovely B&B's and Airbnb in Scotland I have stayed during my trip the hotel room was not very nice or cozy

Pros: We didn't take breakfast, so cannot judge this. The beds were very comfortable and although the hotel was in the city centre and opposite Union Square bus station and shopping centre we weren't disturbed by too much noise, except for the hum of engines of ships in the harbour.

Pros: Had the cheapest smallest room, but that was not a problem for the price. Room was clean and reception staff was helpful. Hotel conveniently situated next to train/bus stations and town centre.

Pros: Had extreme difficulty finding the hotel as it has no signage on front of the building with Aberdeen house hotel just an a 4 size of paper .Not good enough! But eventually after circling round guild street I managed to find it .i had to phone a serious of mobile numbers before I got a guy who told md to keep ringing door bell . Finally a staff member come down and let me in .he was friendly and courteous and showed me my basic but clean room .its a little noisy with city centre revellers in the street but apart from that I slept well and recommend it as great value for money

Pros: Photos on Webpage made it look a lot better that it actually was. Room was very dated, lights did not work. Spent more money doing hallways than the rooms. Toilet seat would not stay up, felt like floor to bathroom was going to cave in.

Pros: We didn't take breakfast, so cannot judge this. The beds were very comfortable and although the hotel was in the city centre and opposite Union Square bus station and shopping centre we weren't disturbed by too much noise, except for the hum of engines of ships in the harbour.
Cons: Even although I am fit, I didn't like climbing all the stairs to get to our room. The selection of channels on the tv was poor, with no BBC channels for news etc, and the instructions on the tv were in an unknown eastern European language, so nothing could be changed.

Cons: TV did not work, shower head was just hanging without any means of attaching it anywhere, there was no warm water in shower, WiFi did not work. Was in the same room a month ago - situation was the same, obviously noone is bothered to fix things.

Pros: The Location is very good.
Cons: The First room I was given the window did not open & it was over 22 degrees outside which meant the room was like an oven. However the TV did work in that room. It took the guy a while to come upstairs & when he could not get the window open...he finally moved me into another room. This time Window open but TV did not work. He promised he would get it working while I was out that did not happen. You pay extra for a TV in your room so was not happy.

Pros: Location was excellent for shoppers and by the harbour.
Cons: Mattress was needing replaced. Felt like sleeping in a hammock with springs for a base. Although surface clean, the shower screen was covered with black mould within the joints and the tiles in this area were of a similar state. Breakfast was in the bar area with a good selection of meat, cheese and 3 breakfast cereals. Choice of brown/white bread for toasting. I asked for coffee and was told this was available for me in the percolator on the bar. I am convinced this was really weak tea as it didn't even smell of coffee. The biggest problem was parking. I struggled to find parking nearby and found the Trinity Centre multistorey as a last resort. This ended up costing me £16 as I parked overnight.
