The location is great! I walked to Juliet's balcony and the arena in less then10 minutes. Our room has stylishly decorated and spotless. The free breakfast had everything. You could have eggs done your way and fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins, etc. the place is perfect
Roberto and his team were exceptionally nice. Room was charming. We had top floor room in the mansion a few doors from the main house. Everything worked, and was exceptionally clean. They seem to take some pride in decorating, and you definately aren't in a 2 - 3* hotel. The location was OK but not as good as expected based on description and maps. Since I was coming in by train one day with bags and out the next with the same bags, I wanted to be close to station and it ended up being about 15 minute walk and was a little confusing how to get there. Even armed with map, I had to ask a few times how to get there. In fairness, there really isn't anything closer to station in Verona. It's not like Rome or Florence with hotels surrounding station. It was about same 15 minute walk to the Arena which starts the old town.
close to city center, good breakfast, helpful staff, room quite small with low roof.
Perfect situation if you are interested in visiting museums; personal is although very nice. Close to railway station - convinient for girls with big luggage:)
It's only 5 minutes away from Verona Porta Nuova (train station). Even though we got lost trying to find it, Roberto, who works there, came and picked us up. They gave us pointers on where to go and where to eat for a reasonable price. Close to the train tracks, breakfast a bit meager for my taste.
Staff, bike rent, comfort, price. Door bell was really noisy.
We had a warm welcome from one of the staff (he offered us drinks and all), the house is beautiful and super clean, the room was comfortable and practical: desk, lots of lamps, dustbin, mirror,... The place feels really safe and they even gave us really great addresses of restaurants (and a map of the city, things to see...)! It is kind of noisy: you can hear everything people say in the other rooms, the train (but it is not so annoying) and the locks and doors opening and closing. But the worst thing is the breakfast: we were told it was available from 8:30 to 10:30 (which we found a bit late, since most places to visit open at 8:30), but when we got there, no one was there and nothing was ready. We waited for 30 minutes before helping ourselves with what we could find... So really poor service (well, no service at all). We left a note to explain what happened but they didn't even apologize or acknowledge it... The second day, food was on display, but what food! Disgusting coffee from a machine, not enough hot water, no cold drinks, industrial pastries (still in their plastic packaging!)... So we didn't really appreciate the breakfast... To say the least (when there was any breakfast, that is... Not so much of a B&B).
very clean room, bathroom, people on the desk helpful. The rooms were small but completely updated and bright and comfortable. The hotel was about 15 minutes from Piazza Bra and about 20 minutes from Juliette's balcony and the local arena. No - friendly, cleans, comfortable and safe. That covers it.
