Pros: The staff was excellent, Michael at front desk was a bit help with checking in and having answers to our questions and Rachelle was very nice when it came to breakfast. I have three kids and they get a bit rowdy at times but she was very patient and helpful.
Cons: I went through hotels and the room was suppose to be $110 after taxes but when we got there it was almost $140 and nobody could explain to me why. They blamed it on taxes but the confirmation I seen said taxes where already added. I also didnt care for the pool, they use the new "healthy" salt and it tasted like the ocean. It also caused my 5 year olds eyes to become red and swollen. If we go back we will be bringing goggles with us for all the kids.
Pros: New hotel, great location

Pros: Clean, easily accessible, with a shopping mall next door and easy interstate access. This was a perfect choice for us.
Pros: Location awesome.. located within walking distance of the mall. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The breakfast was horrible. No variety and the waffle maker kept sticking. When I bought it to the attention of one the staff she told me 'Oh I will figure something out, but never did...

Pros: The hotel is centrally located in Ann Arbor. Once we parked, we walked everywhere.
Cons: AC was not consistent & the room got hot during the night.
Pros: Location was right on campus
Cons: Fit and finish of room was a little worn (doors didn't close properly, low-flow shower), very expensive for what you get.
Welcome to Graduate Ann Arbor — where your intellectual curiosity meets your favorite place to stay.
Graduate Ann Arbor is ideally located across the street from campus and a couple blocks up the road from Nickels Arcade. We’re right at the corner of Huron and State streets amid the bustle of the town’s best restaurants, shops and game day buzz, making Graduate the smartest place to stay in town!
A cozy club feel envelops the lobby where nods to the arts, counter culture and political scene of this famously progressive community speak to its storied history. Hand painted mosaic patterns that sweep across wide planked wood floors, handsome millwork, leather clad columns and grand center staircase patch-worked in Persian rugs add a warm layered look throughout. Traditional library furnishings are recovered for a twist on the classics, while commissioned murals and graffitied manifestos invite discussion and good humor.
Gather some Wolverines for a post-game brew, grab a light bite at our café counter or convene at our 40 foot communal wood table; it’s the perfect hub for conversation and comradery.
So whether you’re in town for a meeting or meet up, cheering for the Maize and Blue or enjoying an art fair, we’re here to make it memorable. Our warm, friendly and whip smart staff (#humblebrag) can guide you in and around Ann Arbor — so that you feel like a local, at home again even if it’s your first time in town.
Our rooms are ready for a night like you’ve never had before, where little moments of surprise and discovery will meet you down every corridor and around each corner. This is Graduate — be ready to be inspired.

Pros: We were there to take our child to her appointment at U of M Children's Hospital. It was a relaxing experience with a wonderful staff. The best part was they offered a shuttle to the hospital. That alone took a lot of stress off of us. Thank you again and we will be back.
Pros: Convenient location, clean
Cons: Outdated; breakfast area is very small and overcrowded
Pros: Staff all very helpful & friendly.
Pros: Wonderful staff, quality breakfast options, and a very nice, comfortable room.
Pros: One of the friendliest staffs I've ever seen (and I travel quite a bit).
When you stay at Ann Arbor Regent Hotel & Suites, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Cobblestone Farm and Gerald R. Ford Library. Guests can take a dip in the indoor pool or visit the fitness center for a workout. A spa tub and a garden are offered, and rooms have conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: This hotel has a nice place to site outside (next to the pool) which is rare.
Pros: Beds are comfortable, clean rooms, nice pool and great breakfast. We just like it and will stay when we come again in March.
Cons: Not bad, but when you flushed the toilet, it sounded like a plane was landing. Not annoying, it was funny but really strange. Never heard anything like it.
Pros: The hotel was clean and the front desk was very accommodating.
Cons: I booked through Kayak and they had a hard time consolidating the reservation and did not reserve the room I requested. I got a king bed instead of double which could have been a problem but I was traveling with family so we managed.
Pros: Convenient to North Campus and freeways, quiet, clean, safe.
Pros: As we expect from Hampton, the staff was courteous and helpful
Cons: Room size anything but generous. Was surprised by the small size of our studio king and how cramped the breakfast area is.
Pros: Very friendly staff
Cons: Smelled like potpourri
Pros: The staff was fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and updated with nice carpeting, and the bed was very comfortable. Had a little trouble staying connected to wifi and frequently lost cell phone connection while in our room.
Cons: We were very surprised to hear dogs whining and barking in the rooms surrounding ours. When we asked the manager about this, we were told we had been placed on the "pet friendly" floor...which we did not request, nor even know was an option at this hotel. The manager told us if we were disturbed by the barking they would speak to the pet owner...but the barking continued. The barking wasn't loud, but it was continuous until the pet owner returned. Probably not an issue for other guests with dogs, but for us it was a bit annoying...since we didn't have pets and did not request a pet-friendly room. Not a deal breaker for us, but it would have been nice to have been informed of other room options, or, if none other were available, been made aware of the situation BEFORE we booked.
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Rooms too small
Pros: We checked in late, checked out early. For the price it was a good value. No frills, just a place to spend the night, which is what we needed.

Pros: Food and alcohol prices were good and high quality. The discount coupons were great and helped offset the price of the room.
Cons: Cost per night for a couple was a bit high at over $200.00
Pros: Decent place to stay and staff is very nice, but being more expensive than the other hotels in the area, I thought it'd have more to offer.
Cons: Very tiny bathroom, pretty run down looking
Pros: Staff was great
Cons: Room was a bit run down. Shower drain stopped up. Gave us a room next to one they were doing major construction on, so very loud.
Pros: The pool view.
Cons: The noise and the staff's attitude.
Cons: It seemed like they they partially renovated but did not really want to spend the money to do the job right. So the lobby looks nice and modern but the rooms were just ok, and certain features (for example the bathrooms) were not renovated and appeared sort of dingy.
Pros: Loved the restaurant and the staff.
Cons: When my son booked the room the info stated there was a free breakfast but there wasn't.
Pros: Great pool and very friendly staff. Definitely a very quirky hotel but a nice place to stay.
Cons: I paid for a room that did NOT overlook the pool, however the staff "upgraded" us to a pool-side room. This would have been great but there was a 40th birthday party going on all day and well into the evening. The adults at the party were very clean and courteous but their kids, who played in the pool for 10 straight hours, were extremely loud. It made it impossible to nap during the day, and the next morning I was awoken by the sound of the kids playing in the pool again at 8am.
Weber's Hotel & Restaurant features a nightclub and puts you within a 10-minute drive of Ann Arbor Hands On Museum and University of Michigan. The indoor pool is a great spot to take a dip, and guests can grab a bite to eat at Weber's Restaurant, one of 3 restaurants, which serves American cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 3 bars/lounges and a poolside bar are other highlights at this upscale hotel, and rooms offer LCD TVs and refrigerators.
Pros: Executive Section with complimentary appetizers and morning pastries.
Cons: We arrived on a Thursday and stayed 3 nights. The second night, Friday, we were awaken by a fire alarm at 2:45am. We dressed and headed out into the hall where we met other guests returning from the lobby. THEY informed us that it was a false alarm. No one from the hotel EVER spoke with us about the incident. We left the hotel on Saturday before 11am for a day out, we returned that night to find our room had NOT been serviced! The bed was not made nor clean towels left so we called for towels. Upon checkout, NOTHING was said about either situation - no explanations nor apologies. They asked if a receipt had been left under our door - it had not. Apparently someone on the staff did not do their job.
Pros: It was overall a very nice and well decorated hotel. The customer service was amazing and very much worth the price,
Cons: Room wasn't ready ontime

Nice location close to the University. Quiet and clean. Good breakfast.
Cons: There was no place to hang clothes
I do not like it. i will consider it if it has a 40 percent discount.
Cons: Noise, perhaps it is a home house, the number is a few. expensive.
Stone Chalet Bed and Breakfast Inn and Event Center puts you just a 5-minute drive from University of Michigan Museum of Art and University of Michigan. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and full breakfast daily between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM. Other highlights at this boutique bed & breakfast include a terrace and a garden, and rooms offer refrigerators and premium bedding.
Pros: The indoor pool, the lounge area both inside and out, and the bistro's food choices. In the morning, it offers Starbuck's coffee and in the evening, it is a full bar.
Cons: The fitness room didn't have much in the way of equipment and weights.
Pros: Dining off of the lobby was cool. TV's in the booths, very handy, breakfast was good and made fresh and quickly. Also liked the technology in the main lobby. Computers available , a big TV with seating for viewing, a special computer set up to quickly print boarding passed (very convenient), lots of seating for small gatherings. Also, all done with a nice modern décor.
Cons: Hallway carpet to rooms seemed old in style, though room was nicely styled.

Friendly helpful staff
One of the best hotel breakfasts
Breakfast is not free
Pros: Clean and quiet
Cons: Charges $3 for coffee in the lobby. What hotel does that nowadays? I went out to Tim hortons and bought one cheaper.

Cons: Room was very dated, other holiday inn expresses are updated and modern
Cons: Hotel needs an upgrade.
Pros: Location. Convenient place to stay when visiting University of Michigan.
Cons: It would be an improvement to have room thermostat. My room was left on high heat when I arrived and was very warm.
Pros: The people at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating. I felt like family there. Faucet broke the first day and they quickly replaced while we were out of the room. Breakfast was great! All staff seemed to genuinely like working there!
Pros: I liked the description of the hotel but after going there nothing.
Cons: The staff were rude and lacked knowledge of hotel policies. They were I accommodating.
Pros: Staff was super friendly and helpful- they offered us fresh fruit when we arrive late in the evening and were genuinely happy at work. So refreshing. Breakfast was awesome! Pool and hot tub were clean. Room was great.
Cons: Everything was fabulous. Only complaint was that the location wasn't walkable to anything but the mall. However it was very convenient to get on and off Highway 94 and super close to downtown Ann Arbor.
Pros: Good location if visiting University of Michigan.
Cons: no, everything was great.
Pros: Great area and near the Michigan Flyer pick u p
Pros: The hotel room atmosphere was warm and cozy. The bed was most comfortable. The shampoo, conditioner, and lotion was from Bath & Body and the scent was one of my favorites, white citrus.
Cons: Very petite trash can in hotel room. And no bar / restaurant at the hotel, but the hotel does have a wonderful breakfast spread.
Pros: Good place to stay when visiting University of Michigan
Cons: Not even close to the photos represented. Sink was Smaller than any I've ever seen. Fan and smell in the hotel was musty and uncomfortable. I usually love holiday inn express
Good location for first time visit to the city.
Pros: Near shopping mall, food, university and freeway access.
Cons: Staff is not very friendly.

Pros: Our room was very nice and quiet. Close to walking anywhere downtown.
Cons: Staff did not acknowledge us at check-in. We where the only people waiting to check-in and the staff walked past us three times with out a 'Welcome to the Bell Tower I'll be right with you'. That would not have been so hard.
Pros: Location cleanliness
Pros: Location. Pleasant staff.
Cons: Noisy doesn't adequately describe the symphony of garbage can pickup at 6:00a.m. That the hotel knew was a problem when I paid up for this corner suite made it worse. Mood not helped by terrible wi-fi, shortage of outlets a malfunctioning toilet.
Pros: Excellent location for visiting the university with easy access to restraunts. Complimentary valet parking and breakfast was very nice.
Pros: It was close to downtown the workers were very nice and friendly. The hotel was clean and continental breakfast was nice.
Cons: Hotel room was small and outdated.
Pros: Location, location, location! We were visiting our freshman at UM, and loved being able to walk throughout the campus as well as the charming town of Ann Arbor - we will definitely return! Free valet parking was a plus - and desk staff was great!!
Cons: Bathroom is small, but adequate. Not wild about the step up into the bathroom or the extremely small sink but manageable. Complimentary continental breakfast was standard and coffee was weak - go to Comet Coffee instead!
Pros: Location. There isnt a better location in A2. Right in the heart of the campus.
Cons: Old and tired looking. It is like visiting your old beloved Grandmother. The place is tired, needs desperate upgrade and investment in the infrastructure (i.e. wallpatper, carpet, paint, etc). Just really tired looking. It was sad to see
Pros: The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Only 1 car included in free parking. Expensive for size of suite.
Bell Tower Hotel puts you in a great location, within just a 10-minute walk of University of Michigan and University of Michigan Museum of Art. Guests can visit the 24-hour fitness center for a workout or grab a bite to eat at Eve, which serves breakfast and dinner. Rooms offer room service and free WiFi.
Pros: The suite was great with plenty of space, well stocked kitchen and high quality furnishings.
Cons: The building itself was poorly insulated and I could hear noise from all around me and outside.
Pros: relatively new, good location
Pros: Comfortable, friendly staff,
Cons: No free breakfast
Pros: Big room with well equipped kitchen & the layout
Cons: IT accomodates only 2 adults in a room.
Pros: The rooms were very spacious, and the bed was quite comfortable
Cons: The elevators were not clearly marked
Pros: I like how the rooms were almost like a small apartment. Everything you could need is right there in the room.
Cons: No community sitting area, most hotels have a welcoming reception area, this hotel does not. It really does feel like a small apartment building.
Pros: Loved its location, cost was reasonable, the room was big and very functional, it was quiet.
Cons: It would be great to have some brochures on local places to see, eat, etc. I was able to get this information from the clerk but had to call him - if the information had just been available in the lobby I wouldn't have had to bother him.
Pros: Location. Price.
Cons: After hours check-in was difficult. No breakfast (should have looked more closely at the details, so that's on me). Okay room, okay place. Basic transportation, nothing special.
Pros: The store and laundry facility. The room was little a studio apartment.
Cons: The hallways smell of everyone's cooking but it's not too bad.
Pros: Simple, efficient, clean. Ideal for long term stays but it fit our purposes for one night very well.
Pros: modern interior design, clean, functional and quiet.
Cons: vending machine, laundry room and gym in the same place
There is nothing fancy about the hotel but it was well worth the price. Thanks for the stay.
Pros: Clean comfortable room and a good nights sleep.
Cons: The front lobby is no frills and can get congested when there are check ins and outs happening at the same time. WiFi didn't work very well.

Pros: Stayed in a 2 BR, 2 BA suite. Perfect for our family. Had a kitchen and dining area, a living room and plenty of BR space. Well decorated with modern, new furniture/appliances. Excellent and comfortable beds/bath facilities. Great pool and breakfast.
Cons: It's a few miles into Ann Arbor --on the outer edge of Michigan's North Campus. A bit inconvenient. (Must have a car!) But then, the setting is quiet (almost pastoral), it's near a major highway, and there's a terrific grocery just a block away.
Pros: It just opened in July and everything is very modern and bright and comfortable spaces outside of the room to mingle around in.
Cons: I thought they skimped on shampoo, etc.

Cons: Our room was given to someone else. We were tired and it was frustrating to have a delay in getting a room.
The desk clerk was very nice and apologetic for the situation. The Inn was very clean and nicely decorated, but the traffic noise was such that it interrupted our sleep
Pros: Ample, clean rooms, friendly staff, perfect location to University of Michigan North Campus. Fair continental breakfast and competitive price.
Pros: Inexpensive and clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Free breakfast. Reasonably quiet despite being full.
Cons: We did have to wait for the breakfast area to clear before we could get anywhere near it. Two separate sports teams (a volleyball and a swim team) had all their groups eating at 8am.
Pros: Pricing was appealing
Cons: limited breakfast
staff was not very attentive- rude abrupt at check in
Pros: It was perfect for me...from size of room to amenities to location, including price...very clean...staff very friendly & helpful. There were no problems/issues. My reservation was made on line and check-in/check-out was quick & smooth. I'd recommend this place to everyone.
Pros: The room was clean, the amenities were up to hotel standards.
Cons: The walls are very thin and the noise from the multiple highways surrounding the area make it difficult to get a good nights sleep. Of course around 3-4am you get a break in the cacophony. Bring good ear plugs and you should be fine.
Pros: The proximity, cleanliness, price and service were excellent.

Cons: I've never filed a noise complaint (or any complaint really) in my life until my stay there. We had a pre-teenage girl birthday party in both rooms across the hall from us. From about 8PM - midnight it was constant yelling/laughing/etc. We have an 18 month old that was trying to sleep, and were very worried they would wake him up. We asked the parent personally to have them quiet down, which didn't work, so we complained to the front desk twice, which also didn't seem to help. I'm not sure if the front desk did anything to try and help or not, but either way, our experience was not positive at this hotel, even if it may not have been primarily the hotel's fault.
Pros: The room had some nice decor. I appreciated the "green" touches.
Cons: Where do I begin? I wanted to relax in a bath, but the water would only fill 1/3 of the way. Oh, how relaxing lying in three inches of water!
The big issue: I was over-charged an additional $150. When I called to figure out what was going on, I was told it was the booking site's fault. Repeatedly. I offered to send my reservation confirmation. Then, and only then, was I told they'd find a way to refund my money. And, was again told it wasn't their fault.
The money will take 3-4 days to be refunded.
With no response to a follow-up email asking why they had charged my account a second time, I called the hotel, was accidentally hung up on and then called back. The same manager from before told me repeatedly how busy she'd been all day. I felt like I was a nuisance.
She was kind enough to say she'd look into the root of the problem. And kind enough to suggest I always double-check my room rates when checking in. Even if it's confirmed. First, that's not my job. Second, their mistake is not mine or any other guest's fault. They like to blame anyone else. Even you. Even if they say it sweetly, it's still not right.
Traveler beware. Double check your room rate and your bank account if you stay here.
Pros: We were visiting our son for parents weekend. He's in college in Ann Arbor. The hotel was very nice and so was the staff
Cons: The price was ridiculous for a Hampton inn, over $300 per night. Fine for a high end luxury hotel, not a Hampton inn
