A bit old, but outstanding staff compensate for any aging fixtures. Outstanding pool area and good beach facilities. Food is good and upscale Rosato restaurant is a nice place for an evening meal.
I enjoyed my stay the staff was very polite and attentive and the room was very comfortable. Although the property is not brand new, it was well maintained.
We recommended this hotel for pleasure and business trips!
My biggest problem was that I booked a suite with travel website and got a regular two double bed room . NOT the fault of the hotel. The people at the hotel were very courteous. Some at the front desk did speak some English, Although the night of check in after midnight, we had another guest join us and were told that we had to pay an extra amount,we asked for a reciept and were told it would show up on our checkout statement, then later found out that the guest was included in the pkg deal we had purchased and there was no record of the extra fee paid .So apparently the money got pocketed by that deskman and since there was no record of the transaction, I didn't get that money back. The housekeeping staff was very promt and did a great job.The continental breakfast was okay. I did love the courtyard setting and the pool area.It was very quiet and clean. Was probably one of the most authentic Mexican hotels as far as appearance. I do recommend this hotel, very reasonable price-( just...
I picked this hotel close to downtown (centro), which help me to be close to different restaurants and historical buildings. The hotel is clean and affordable, staff was always caring and answering my questions. Swimming pool, restaurant and computer desks, made my stay easy. Although the hotel is in the center of the city, was quiet. Love the decor. My room was next to the pool, clean bathroom and nice and clean sheets, great bed and pillows. Love it!!! I forgot about the free breakfast....I was not told, so I went to the restaurant, instead :(
I loved the old historical building, which was in fantastic shape. The staff, in general, didn not speak English, but were still very accomodating. I was amazed that it was within walking distance of the downtown area - like 5 minutes. It was also a plus that La Parrochia was located right next door - great for breakfast or a quick cafe leche. I have already recommended the hotel to friends and might return myself.
This is an excellent option to visit Veracruz, near downtown and the beach
Close to the center and Veracruz port. Nice Wiew, clean room, good food.
good location Airconditinning very noisy. Reception made by "students" , they make 30 min to calculate the price of the room.
Clean, courteous and helpful staff, good location. Would stay there again without hesitation. Highly recommended. Would have been if breakfast, for about $100 a night, was included. There is an option to have breakfast included but the nightly stay would have been more than $100 a night.
Close to markets, restaurants, museums, cultural sites, and waterfront. Great views from every side of hotel. Quick check in and friendly staff. Hotel store with many items. Easy parking. Good room, very clean and comfortable. Recently renovated building--very nicely done. Great breakfast bar and a la carte. Attentive staff in hotel and restaurant. Great value.
Location is excellent, two blocks from our favorite restaurant, within walking distance from shopping district, and right in front of the main square, where most nights there's live music and other spectacles. The staff is excellent, very helpful and friendly. Everything was very clean, even if the rooms are not on par with five star hotels, they were comfortable. The air conditionig equipment, especially, was whisper quiet (i had to put my ear next to the grill to make sure it was working),Location is excellent, two blocks from our favorite restaurant, within walking distance from shopping district, and right in front of the main square, where most nights there's live music and other spectacles. Room 303 is right next to the water cooling towers, and we spent the night with a horrible fan engine noise. We were so tired we were asleep in no time, but my wife had a hard time sleeping, beng the most sensitive of the group. We asked to be moved in the morning and the reception lady was very apologetic and told us the hotel was full, but she would definitey have a room after check out time. She was good on her word and moved us to aother room, facing the street and high enough that the noise was non-existent. The other thing we found lcking was the internet service. The first night our devices didn't detect any signal at all, so we thought there was no internet access. When i mentioned it the next morning, the front desk lady told us that indeed they had wireless Internet and gave me the password. On the new room we could find the wireless signal and connected right away. Alas, the service turned out to be very slow, almost unusable.
Sanbonrns restaurant in Hotel Weak WiFi
Centrally located, clean and spacy rooms Pool was not really up to acceptable level, fitness is really a joke too
Clean, neat, good service, polite and friendly staff. WIFI. There is a light outside the doors of the rooms in the ceiling of the hallways. Above the door to each room is a frosted glass window. The light creates a glow in the room at night that can be bothersome to some.
