Cons: I didn't expect everyone to speak amazing English, but I did expect that the check-in staff would know the words "Convention Center" considering they are a two blocks away and listed as a preferred hotel for one of the largest convention centers in the world. In fact most of the staff didn't know the words -- which is surprising to me. Our "non-smoking" room had a smell that I can't quite describe in words. Something like moldy bread with and cigarettes mixed with decaying animal. It was very unpleasant. The club staff was decent but operated on a 3.5 star level, not 5 star - like they Shangri-La chain should. They just did the minimum's with a bit of attitude and a feeling that your presence was not totally welcome.

Cons: I booked via an app and I used a credit card. Staff did not give me an option to pay in local currency but used USD automatically. This would have cost me another 5 USD. This is unacceptable bordering on theft. Everyone gives you an option to choose currency. Fortunately, I screamed bloody murder and paid in cash.

Cons: Gym and pool were out of bounds, Buffet breakfast only just average.

Cons: I booked Best Western Felicity Hotel for two nights, July 25-27. I arrived ataround 2:00 am at the hotel and they gave me a smocking room when I asked for a on smocking room. It smelled so bad that I couldn't bear it and I asked to be moved to a non smocking room. The room that they offered me had a smell of mold. It was so late at night, I just couldn't move out and search for another hotel. Then I was looking for an iron to steam my pants, and I couldn't find a plug in the room to plug it in. I called room service and they brought me a special transform. I finally had the transformer, the iron was broken. I had to call to exchange the iron. In the morning I wanted to go to the gym and swimming pool and it swimming closed due to renovation. I just feel it's not a 5 star hotel. I couldn't stand it any longer, I checked out and I went to a different hotel for the second night

Cons: Internet connection was very disappointing, more frustrating was that they know about it and don't do nothing to satisfy that need

Cons: There internet connection sucks really sucks. Is like they have one connection to a million people. Frustrating slow.

Cons: Hard to get a non-smoking room

Cons: The front desk staff continues to not measure up. First, they do not understand there own check in procedures. Second, average English in the actual check-in staff which is not there fault. My fault for not knowing Chinese. Second, if your checking in or out and your from another country, if someone Chinese walks up to the desk, they stop your check in, help them and come back to you afterwards. This is normal in China but its overboard in this hotel. They just cant get there front desk procedures right at all. I don't think they have the ability to fix this problem.

Cons: Front desk staff is 100 percent rude and does not understand website bookings. If you book on a website check your bank account as they charge you twice for your room so you end up paying double. You explain to staff and show them paperwork and they still do not have the ability to understand. Bad service

Cons: The images online showed a completely different room from what was the actual condition at the hotel. Staff was super rude when i brought this to their attention; only good for a short stay and because of proximity to the train station.
