I did go with a friend, so if you are planning on going into a double bedroom. Keep in mind that the bathroom is enclosed by a Glazed Glass. They cannot clearly see you, but (depending on your height) may barely see you (remember its glazed glass) so just keep that in mind. They cannot see anything, so there is nothing to be awkward about. This only matters if there if it merely just friends. About the hotel, everything else was great.Pros: The location made it easy to go out and visit other places while walking. Also close to line 1 and 3 of the Seoul Subway.
I booked a triple twin. The bathroom door and shower wall were see through. If I had been with other travelers it would not have been comfortable to use the restroom. The halls were hot and muggy and the carpet badly stained.Pros: The best thing about this hotel is the location. Insadong street is literally at its back door and Cheonggyecheon stream is a quick 2 minute stroll up the street.Cons: The staff could have been a tad bit nicer to match the price. When you pay for a hotel in that price range its for the experience as much as it is for a place to lay your head. Also, the lobby and rooms were not aesthetically pleasing.
