The Rooms were a little dated and very noisy. Cleaning staff very rude - Being woken at 8am on our last day by a rude cleaner wanting to know when we would be out of out room was not a good experience.
Stayed 7th to 15th August 7 adults 3 children age 8 to 15. Upgraded to all inclusive. Rooms clean in both Marris and Village, much larger rooms in the Village, sport facilities very good, swimming pools/tennis courts etc. Some very nice beaches near by Negatives, staff are mainly curt unsmiling, service poor/especially in the Village dining area, wait a long time to order drinks through a two designated staff who don’t like to be chased. Food in buffet restaurants edible but very average, service in Marris buffet better and the same food. Sunbeds very difficult to get being reserved from 6am, very little space around the pools. Remote spot with no really beach car essential. I holiday with family twice a year for two weeks in April and August and have stayed in a lot more friendly and pleasant places. Would not go back.
I liked the location as it was very relaxing. I think there should be more evening entertainment, the group who did it were a mime act and it was a bit boring. It would have been nice to have had a variety of entertainers instead of the same faces each night. The other thing I think would improve the hotel is the non-smoking facilities, the best room with the piano was set aside for smokers, this was a bit disappointing for the majority of us who do not smoke and most of the time the room was empty. This hotel is supposed to be a sporty hotel after all!. I think if the room was reserved for non-smoking adults who would have also liked to have had the opportunity to have a drink with a nice piano player, this would have improved my holiday SMokers area could be outside next to pool table
Everything - the food, the accommodation, the facilities, the staff, the weather just about everything.
Excellent food. Beautiful setting. Polite, hard working staff. Slightly pricey for 4* hotel
The hotel was in an amazing setting, beautiful clean pools outdoor, heated pool indoor, tennis, squash, archery , surfing and sailing school, trial dives, excellent buffet food - something that we looked forward to morning and eve, and you would never guess that it catered for many guests - it was very well organised. After dinner you could mingle in the various corners with cosy sofas, meet other guests, play games chat - very welcoming - I would highly recommend it! (stayed with an 8 and 12 year old) the front rooms might be noisy as close to the street, which runs infront of the hotel, but this was not noticeable at the sides d back, which overlooked a nature reserve
The staff were very friendly and Francoise at the hobby club reception was super helpful.
Excellent resort, good sports facilities, very clean, delicious food. We will definitely stay at this hotel again. The beach is separated from the hotel by a quite busy road. People who like it quieter will have to travel to Cap Formentor or at least to Port de Pollentia.
Natural parc and close to the sea Cleaning service is very poor, quality of food is poor
The sports facilities were very good and the resort had a nice open feel with lots of greenery. The staff were also very friendly and efficient. Food was consistently of a good quality. Shame that the hotel fronts a busy road which spoils the otherwise stunning views and setting. Food could have been a bit more varied. Charging for hire of tennis rackets was a bit petty.
Great staff, fantastic food - we loved the hotel. Location perfect right on the beach and great pool. Thanks to all who looked after us.
good food, friendly dining room staff, clean internet facilities far too expensive
The location, just across from beautiful beach, and close enough to town centre, bus stop to all destinations just a few steps away, and about 15 minutes walk from centre. Friendly staff and extremely helpful in any possible way. A pleasure to deal with. Rooms very clean. Very good breakfast. wardrobe was smelling of mould. a bit dated.
Location very close to beach and town. Parking was easy, good internet connection, friendly staff. Breakfast is chaotic and disorganised.
very lovely receptionist. Chilled out place generally. Good pay as you go internet too many mosquitoes and the fan extractor was dirty
Nice location with 10 min walk to center, nice staff&great service, hotel facilities ok, great beach, food ok. The room that was provided (213) was substandard - we had to pay for an upgrade.
Helpful staff - we were immediately offered an excellent alternative room in the annexe when we found that the "sea view" from our original room was limited.
It was in a fine building, smartly maintained, with a pool and also plenty of shaded areas to relax. Staff were helpful end efficient; breakfast buffet very good indeed; and it was very well located for beach and town Nothing adverse at all - we may well visit it again.
Staff were very helpful dealing with a problem with the booking - they had guaranteed a booking but had no rooms available. Sourced me alternative accomodation in a nearby apartment complex They should ensure along with booking.com that availability is clearly indicated
4 course buffet dinners superb - excellent choice, tasty food well presented, eat as much as you like. Nice aspect dining room. Very good hotel location with views of sea and hills. Room and bathroom spacious, enjoyed sea view and balcony. Staff very helpful and efficient. No tea making facilities in room. Some noise from adjoining rooms, particularly from above.
Small shop, games for children such as table tennis (2 e/30 mins), attractive environment. The showers are dangerous. The boiler system is not adequate and the water temperature constantly fluctuates from cold to burning hot. The only plug suitable for the kettle is situated next to the cooker hob and the kettle lead has to run over the hot plate, which takes a long time to cool down - so beware! There were no instructions for using the hob and the on-light seemed to come on in a random way. The hob was in need of an upgrade, as was almost everything else in the apartment. We went in low season and the heating didn't work. The reception staff were not very welcoming. It is a shame we cannot recommend this hotel as it would be ideal for familes with young children but the showers could cause serious burns to a young child.
Studio for 3 of us sleeping - very confined space and sofas pull out beds did not allow comfortable living space - furniture had to be put out on balcony to allow some living space
Friendliness of staff, closeness to all holiday facilities and beach. Pool area very noisy, Lifts could be updated
Good location within a residential area, with easy access to beach and restaurants. Very helpful staff on reception. Beds uncomfortable, sound proofing between rooms non-existant, late bar did not stay open late although that was probably an advantage to keep noise down
Comfortable well equipped apartment. We enjoyed the peaceful location with just a short stroll into the resort centre. Pool and surroundings are well maintained and attractive. A big plus was the provision of heating in our accommodation.
Housekeeping was very good.
The location.Breakfast on the bay.The waiters were very attentive and friendly. The cleaning staff always courteous. The entertainment. Booked 2 single rooms but was told overbooked on arrival, so put into 2 double rooms. One room was on the top floor accessible by stairs only from fourth floor. This was like an attic room with only a skylight.(no426) The second room(no127) faced inward onto an air conditioning unit. They do not show these in brochure or internet. At 9am the limited sunbeds are unlocked. Guests reserve their sunbeds with towels while they have breakfast. The sunbeds are squeezed onto a small concrete platoon on the front. Price advertised on booking.com gave the impression we were getting a reduced rate. According to the printed hotel tarrif the reduced rate was the actual rate. Filled out questionnaire at hotel but have not had a reply after a week.
We stayed at the apartments, liked the design and decoration and pool and sharing bar facilities with the hotel Unfortunately in the apartments some guests were letting in their friends who were not staying at the hotel. they were disruptive and noisy. cleaning of apartments also erratic.
staff is attentive and really helpful hotel is very noisy. next door neighbours wake up at 7 am... you do to. and this was in late October! I must say your site does not present the hotel well and the various options it can offer. as a consequence we had booked the wrong room for what we wanted. luckily the concierge was able to accommodate our needs.
Staff were friendly and helpfull, everywhere was clean, location great.
It was the only hotel open after 12 November n/a
Very comfortable and relaxed. Wonderful location, right on the seafront. Pleasant and attentive staff. Indoor swimming-pool very small and disappointing.
The location is excellent, the rooms were spotlessly clean and service and staff very good. Our room had a balcony with east and south views which was excellent. Not a thing!
The location and attractiveness of the hotel. Old fashioned charm and excellent service. The appartments were modern and more suitable for young couples and families. For a four person family it was inconvenient having to sleep on a bed settee
Excellent staff, late breakfast schedule (10.45 am), clean rooms, fresh cotton sheets, congenial layout of furniture in bar and library, good internet , wireless and in library. Great patio, beach bar and food. All in all very good standards. Noise of furniture being moved in mornings on marble floors.
The Seafront Bar Didn't realize the apartments were on the other side of the road with no sea view
Very friendly staff , location on the promenade , our room had ceiling ventilator + airco which was very pleasant. Ample restaurants in the area, so we will not book full board (buffet dinner) next time Balconies with lateral sea view are in full sun from 13 - 21 hour. No sun blinds here. There are not enough parasols round the very nice pool (salty water)
this hotel was excellent as it is rare in Pollenca to have a hotel with a pool. You still have the sea views with all the benefits of staying in town. An excellent choice and one we will make again. The room was slightly old fashioned but it really did not make a difference to the comfort of the holiday, and would have preferred to have a double bed instead of 2 singles.
The location, staff, great, great breakfast, The hotel was a bit run down and the pictures on the website do not correspond with how it looks like in real life.
Excellent location, really really clean and staff were friendly and very obliging. Squeaky bed.
Excellent location. The reception staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Outdated bathrooms with no toiletries and old towels - not anticipated at a cost of £137 per night. Old air-con system and furniture in the room which had an unpleasant odour. Although the hotel has a pool it is open to all and was very busy and we were unable to get sun beds.
Nothing Room.301 terrible do not stay in it I moved hotels.
The staff were very friendly especially as the volcano happened and we had to stay extra. They looked after us very well
Hotel's decoration were very fresh and welcoming No shampoos were provided but this did not change the comfort overall
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is in a quiet position with a beautiful view of the sea. The buffet breakfast was very good value.
The reception area was clean and tidy and the staff polite and helpfull. The room was a good size and very clean and comfortable. The spa facilities were great and we used them twice a day The television in the room was a 14 inch box from 1990!!!
Good Location, very helpful, good facilities
Our stay was great. It's a few blocks outside of Port of Pollensa and about a mile and a half from Pollensa. It's a really nice hotel with great amenities and very friendly staff.
Hotel is in a quiet location but with easy access to centre of Pollensa. Staff extremely courteous and helpful.
the scenery was nice tennis court swimming pool very relaxing
Very friendly and very good breakfast.
great location great staff great breakfast requires refurbishment and air con in rooms plus room to room phones
We have had a lovely time during our 9 days stay at the Capri. The staff was very helpfull and kind. Breakfast is simple but perfect and fresh. The location can not be more perfect with a beautiful look over the bay. Out dining by the sea. It is clean and we can not wait to get back in September!
location room to be renoveted, but still ok
Air Conditioning is a must in 42 degrees, it was like a sweat box
Very helpful and friendly staff. I had a problem with the first room allocated and I was offered an alternative when I brought the problem to their attention. My room was perfectly adequate and spotlessley clean. Towels were changed daily. I would definitely consider staying there again.
Fantastic beach location wiht a view to die for. Staff were also excellent and helpful and genuine with it. A real "value" hotel that offers many great things such as location, great breakfast and happy, helpful staff for as littel as 30 euro per night - If you don't mind a few rough edges it is a steal The budget rooms at the back are dark and small and the bathroom has afunny layout making the shower difficult to get in and operate - but for 30 euro's you can take this on the chin
Fantastic location with beautiful seaview over the Bay of Pollenca
Friendly, efficient reception area and staff. Relaxed breakfast times and service. Pleasant, caring cleaning staff. Breakfast could be more varied. Kettle in bedroom would be welcome.
Superb location and a view of the bay second to none. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel generally in need of refurbishment and common areas could be cleaner. Although when speaking to one of the owners this is due to be done over the winter.
Warm, welcoming atmosphere. Friendly staff and well behaved guests! The view from the room, I would definately stay again but only with sea view.
The location within Port de Pollenca was perfect: on the beach, close to shops and restaurants and near to the life of the local community. The sea view was superb and outdoor facilities well maintained and very comfortable, including the balcony furniture with reclining cushioned chairs.Super helpful staff.
Bedrooms a bit basic but rest of hotel had a very nice retro feel and the view from the terrace restaurant is excellent
The location has a "wow" factor. The staff were exceptionally cordial. The furniture and fittings in the public rooms were eccentric and attractive. The food was ordinary - safe but uninspiring. We preferred to forego the fantastic setting for a better standard of cuisine in the town at around the same price.
Great location along the pine walk.. an amazing walking street with restaurants, bars, and shops on one side... and a beautiful beach on the other. The elevator was dated and a little scary... take the stairs. No parking, but street parking is nearby.
Good value for money excellent food & location and very helpful staff The plumbing needed a little attention shower going hot & cold when running but only a minor blip
the location and breakfast on the terrace was ok The room that I was given at the back of the hotel on the third floor was certainly not worth the price i paid. i could hear the loud television from next door, the floor was lineoleum that looked like phony wood, the whole room looked cheap and was old. There were no amenities that would support the price. the light switch turned on and off all the lights in the room and there were no individual lights/light switches near the beds. i asked the reception to wake me up at 7:30am my last day - and no one called to do so. The rooms facing the water on the lower floors were probably nicer. i would never return to this hotel. overpriced!
Friendly staff, a slightly sophisticated ambience and ideal location Builder's noise at back of hotel; our room had one low window which you needed to bend down to see out of.
The staff were fantastic, really attentive and very accommodating. The restaurant served good quality food in a truly lovely setting, it's such a pity the quality of the rooms let it down so badly. The rooms was very basic indeed, well below the standard I expected. When I booked the description implied it was a 3 star hotel, but it is acutally only a 1 star hostal. Were it not for the lovely staff and super restaurant we would have checked out and gone elsewhere.
Great location, beach within 5 minute walk and very safe for children. Plenty of evening entertainment and good facilities for the children. The staff were brilliant and very friendly. Beautiful pool and plenty of sun loungers. Thouroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay and will definitely return in the future.
Comfortable room, clean, great shower, good view from room, food good and plentiful, evening entertainment good. The room needed a tv. The quantity of drink supplied at the bar varied according to who served you (shorts) and as the drinks are not cheap this was annoying.
Enjoyed hotel and area in late April. Everything in hotel entertaiment library and good food.
relaxed atmosphere handy to beach also fine pool and spa
spa was excellent. Breakfast was a lasrge buffet style, however cost cutting was apparent i.e. orange juice wasnt juice it was squash. I didnt like the fact that the tennis and ping pong was advertised as free but actually there was a hire charge for the racquets and balls (similarly with the ping pong). Swimming pool opened at 9am which was a little too late if you wanted a swim before breakfast.
There was a very good number of sunbeds around the pool and a large number of comfortable chairs in the lounge areas. Also there was entertainment at night and competitions during the day. I thought the standard of food could be better.
Easy to book rooms. Efficient staff. Clean, nice room.Nice dining room and foyer. Good location for my sports activities of cycling. Affordable prices. Food was not as varied as in other hotels iI have stayed in in this area.Didn't like having to pay with cash for drinks during evening meals. Would rather put drinks bill onto room bill and pay at end of stay.
We enjoyed a very relaxing week at this older style hotel, the childrens pool was perfect for our 3 year old and we particularly enjoyed the choice of food available for breakfast. definitely ready for a facelift, paint peeling from window ledges etc.the evening meals were not child friendly and the breakfast coffee and fruit juices were the worst ever.
Absolutely nothing Everything
Loction, good evening entertainment, efficient staff, friendly atmosphere Lack of TV in room
great location opposite lovely beach, good resort, very relaxing holiday. staff were too busy and so appeared unfriendly there was no interaction between them and guests, creating a lack of atmosphere.
Close to beach, cheap bathroom needs a bit of maintenance
The staff were very friendly and informative , the rooms were kept very clean. The view from the front sea view rooms was excellent. No tea or coffee making facilities the rooms were far to small and basic, mattresses old and creaked at the slightest movement. Bathroom adequate.
the staff are excellent except the night porter who is very grumpy!the location is very good. it is very overpriced for three star, and our room needed to be updated, new beds etc.
Excellent location, beachside location and bus stops outside. Nice walk into the centre of the resort. We paid for our dinner each evening but after the second evening did not eat there again as the quality of the food was very poor. The head waiter was particularly rude.
The friendliness , kindness and efficiency of the hotel staff. hen I arrived off the local Palma bus the very nice bar manager came rushing out and insisted on carrying my case up the steps, a real welcome ! the lovely situation opposite the beach, the nice terrace to sit on.The food in the dining room, nice to see the same chef and Maitre D and people at Reception. No ! I have now stayed there 3 times
resaonable location very accessible to beach. Quite a long walk to centre but we enjoyed the beachside walk. beds were awful basically two single 'camp' beds - mattress ok. Breakfast basic and uninteresting
great location right opposite the beach and a short stroll into the town.the staff were excellent.
I cannot fault these apartments-the staff were very friendly & helpful and the rooms were large and airy and spotless.I would go back to these apartments no problem-An easy walk to the town and crossing the busy road was easy enough and motorists very courteous.
