Clean comfortable Nothing
The cust service was nice They did not hold my bed, I had to sleep on a pullout bed in a conference room
Nice lobby and lounge area. Convenient restaurants either in the same building or walking distance. Museum/ observation balcony. Our room had poor lighting, furniture had scatches and chips. Paint on wall was cracked in the bathroom. The lounge turns into a club at night with lots of drinking, it's very loud. We had a hard time sleeping due to the number of drunk people there. We had to bring ID to be in the lounge and the bouncers were really rude.
We went there for a bachelorette party - The front desk was able to get us in for early check in so we could decorate the room, and the customer service was OUTSTANDING. Hotel is beautiful - Will definitely book again
Location, staff, quiet Room starting to look worn. Bedside lamp needed new bulb. In room coffee maker full of scale deposits and would not heat properly. Maids cart parked in our hallway overnight in front of open service room door. Many carpet stains.
I was surprised that wifi wasn't included, and then very surprised that one day of wifi costs 14 dollars. Free wifi seems common enough these days that the hotel ought to call out "no free wifi" a little more obviously in search results and listings on travel sites. It's frustrating to pay for a room and then feel nickel-and-dimed once you check in.
$14 charge for WIFI
Convenient location, right next to the light rail makes it easy to get to and from airport, mall of America. Right downtown near the stadiums and great restaurants. NA
Comfortable bed and clean room The TV and most of the lights didn't work. I called the front desk twice and both times they said they were sending a tech to fix it. No one showed up. I then walked down to the front desk and asked, they said there were sending someone up. No one every showed up. Had to watch football game at the bar.
Beautiful property, clean and well-appointed rooms, but most of all, the most helpful and friendly staff you could ever wish for. Kind of a crappy shower, no internet access in the gym (including on the networked machines themselves).
Great view Great location Very quiet Clean It was probably 60 degrees in the room. The thermostat did not work. They ended up giving us a small space heater, which was hardly sufficient. If you can imagine, when you are miserably cold it's difficult to enjoy anything.
Felt fancy, drove up in my muddy f250, looked at this crazy redneck like I was out of place. Had them valet that sucker right on the spot, smiles and friendliness (easy and fast) "that what she said" , had a greeter summon an elevator and direct me to the 5th floor, jammed to some dope elevator tunes. Got to the front desk, a little backed up , the fancy fancy platinum members line was bone dry, guess I wasn't that special. Cutie behind the counter was polite and humorous. (Received the cards) bam elevators, bam at my door on the tenth floor, bam key swiped, and then..... You got to set your expectations on size low, Immediately my buddy had to rub in my face "way to go on getting the smallest room bruh" I replied "ST@#" started getting ready for our concert, I then call the frount desk and ask for one of them rolly beds, "yes sir we will send it right up" bam problem adverted, took an hr to get all ready (bruh was being a pre- donna ) still no bed, phhh we gots to go so they will come drop it off , so we leave ( fast forward through all the dark/IPA non hipster beer fest, eye melting, ear penetrating, mind blowing sounds of senses fail/sum41 and post game pizza at louches) drunk walk back from all that madness, get to the lobby and apparently Vinilla Ice Ice baby is staying there to and had all his groupies waiting down there for them, a couple girls come up to my buddy and ask "do you know which room he is in?" That playa was all like " yeah follow us we just ran to get Ice his "stuff" " up the elevator and to the door *fist bump* open the door......just the small room, 1 bed (no roll out) SMH. Called front desk again "sorry we are completely out" nooooo! I called shotgun so I was legit, buddy froze on the floor, at 3, 5, 8 am sounded like someone was banging on our door, royaly pissed me off, (no one was even there!?) after the second knock and my friend slowly dieing of hypothermia we called and asked them to send up pillows and blankets, got them , bro was no longer a popsicle. Woke up called the manager/ now we all good, I would totally stay here again when I'm downtown!! For realzies!
It's just not worth what they charge. Front desk operations has nice people but not wait lines are long. Noisy and hard to sleep. Beds need to be replaced.
Service was excellent, friendly staff! We have a 7 month old so a microwave would of helped us with heating up her formula. Microwaves were not available to us.
Location and the door man. The room is a little run down. Towels are old. Tissue was not soft at all.
The special touch of a card meant a lot. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Pool hours could be about 30 minutes later to accommodate travel arrivals.
Comfortable bed $35 for parking
Great location and lovely hotel. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Hotel decor is contemporary yet with a nod to the historic nature of this beautiful building. Location in the renovated downtown area Is ideal for many activities as well as access to walks along the river and stone arch bridge. It is close to great restaurants, theater and sporting events. Dunn Brothers coffee next-door is a bonus! Booked through Kayak via Get A Room. Though I confirmed my prepaid reservation earlier that day, at check in the front desk clerk was unable to find my reservation for several minutes and rather unfriendly. When she did locate the reservation, she did give us a nice room but overall was not welcoming. For the remainder of the day, all other staff at the hotel were very friendly, helpful and cheerful.
Not much Was never told once through the entire billing and check in process that there would be extremely loud construction directly above our room on the roof from 8am-noon. Employees at check in could not care less about our terrible experience. I am 26 and I have never written a review. Hope this hotel goes out of business.
1. Fast Check-in 2. Due to room availability, was allowed to check-in 4 hours priot to normal check-in time (Check-in is at 4, was able to check-in at noon) 3. Very Friendly Staff (At Check-in, In the Cafe, Cleaning Staff, etc) 4. On-site parking was well priced 5. Cafe/Restaurant/Bar/Lounge were nice onsite amenities I would stay here again. Rooms slightly dated and remote was slow to change channels on the TV (I am being overly critical here and this did not play into my rating).
Shuttle to Target Field Very pricey for this hotel. Had to pay for parking.
Great service all the way around. Bathroom was horrible, no counter space and the sink was leaking into the floor.
The hotel was booked at a GREAT price, and was very clean and roomy! We will definitely be staying here during our next visit! The ONLY suggestion I have is that when checking in, the person at the front desk should inform you of the security deposit that will be charged to your credit/ debit card at the time of check in. We were not informed at time of check in, and were instead given a loud knock on our room door (while we were taking naps after a long day of travel) saying that our payment was declined and that we would not be allowed to stay there if we didn't come to the front desk to make the payment. We all ended up laughing it off, but a warning to let me know my card (which I keep very little money on at any given time) would be charged $200, would have prevented the issue in the first place.
When I checked in at 3 pm, only one person was at the front desk. The line was 15 minutes long and the front desk person was slow and incompetent. She forgot to ask if I needed to park a car; therefore, she had to re-do the keys. I gave her my American Airlines frequent flier number and she said they didn't take it at the desk; I needed to do it online. When I said "Double Dip" she had no idea what I was talking about. And, she was downright unwelcoming. She treated everyone like a wet rag. I recommend the hotel invest in training. I also had a very negative experience with central Reservations the previous week. HIlton needs to think about customer service or they will be eaten alive by Marriott. Call Southwest Airlines or Marriott and find out what it means to be customer-focused, not hotel-focused. Sham The place is very tired and poorly run. The hotel bar looks like something you would find in a town of 5,000 in North Dakota. This is MInneapolis for crying out loud. Do you not understand the concept of revenue production? Tear the place down and enter the year 2017.
A clean hotel but super simple. The price I paid for the room didn't match the amenities. Would not recommend.
The room was amazing! Huge suite, very modern No
Parking Valet was terrible. $40.00 daily parking
