Cons: On Sunday we wanted to have lunch outside but we didn't think of booking as we were residents. It was really difficult to find a table cause the restaurant was fully booked. I think that there should be some extra tables for residents.

Pros: Generally the hotel is very good. The food and restaurant also very good. People working there are very, very well prepared and kind. Place is extremely clean and quite, although is in the center of the Gallery. When i left, people working there even helped me with my private shopping, i have no word about their kindness. They were so nice that even got a present for my birthday. So special thanks to all the personnel there. And the location is out of comment. You are in the heart of Milan. Everything is close, all you need to do is go out of the hotel and you are there :-) Hotel is perfect :-)

Pros: Great hotel and fantastic staff. We have spent a night with Concierge Ms.Lucri by planning our upcoming trip of Tuscny, Venice and Rome. It was a great joint work. Hotel managed to find us tickets to visit Santa Maria Della Grazie, which was my dream, that I could not fulfil during my previous 2-3 visits to Milano. Best location in Milan. Great personnel. Real 5 star hotel experience. Will return, yet please get rid of COVID-19!

Cons: I didn't like the view from my room. It was even upgraded on 6th floor, but the view was on the opposite building so didn't offer a lot from the city itself.

Cons: Already communicated to the hotel staff and they promised to fix it. As far as I have been informed, there were only 2 rooms in entire hotel with wooden floors - that we HATE, and one of it was given to us. Our baby had just learned to walk and run, and he kept falling down as it was too slippery with his socks. We have the promise from the hotel for the next time and I am sure we will get a descent room!

The public spaces (reception, sitting area, bar) are beautifully decorated in traditional style. The room I stayed in was spacious with antique furniture and excellent bathroom facilities - it did lack a bit in character. The staff were magnificent - friendly, informative, and managing every need. Ana was especially delightful to greet each morning. The location could not be better as it is within 5-10 minutes walk of the Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Museums, and the Fashion District. The Metro is steps away. I could not have been more pleased with this choice.

Cons: Although I only saw two rooms, I do think they could make the decor more plush (i.e. see Principe di Savoia). I do undertand that some of their higher priced rooms fulfill that. The public spaces make up for it as they are very plush and elegant - I could just sit and relax in either the sitting room or the bar for hours.

Cons: This time out bath has issues with bad smell... hot water took ages to get worm.... And beds were too soft...but after our complanes all was resolved by hotel stuff. And like a bonus we got nice desert for applogies from hotel manager! so sweet! So anyway... I think next time in Milan it will be still Mandarin!☺️

Cons: It was a simple bad room to an ally with construction, people yelling in the morning. Bed mattress horrible and chair cigarette burn in cushion. Cons: The hotel is facing the road which has railways of tram. That’s convenient in daytime but especially in the early morning it causes a rumbling of the ground. As some guests remarked, it is difficult to find entrance for the guest visiting for the first time. Enjoy to find where the entrance! I was not able to find supermarket the area adjacent from the hotel. (this is not bad aspect of the hotel side, though...)

Pros: Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Decor and ambience was good. Food very good.
Cons: Very noisy bar opposite. Could not use the bath because the tap trickled water out and after half an hour only the base of the bath was full and the water was only tepid from the hot tap- so gave up which was annoying as this was part of the ‘wow’ factor of the room. Sink taps too fierce.

Cons: One only disadvantage - the lot of noise. Our room was exactly above the tram stop. But the feeling that the tram stop is inside the room. Maybe one more small disadvantage, the breakfast place was very small, I even can't call this place "dining room" or "restaurant", just a "small place for breakfast". But again - no so relevant for me.

Cons: The main areas of the hotel and room were very hot at all times, even with AC on. My room never cooled down. The furnishings and carpet were very old. The pictures on the website depict a much nicer room than the room I stayed in. I was very disappointed.

Cons: The restaurant was only serving cold food for dinner which was really disappointing as we planned to use it for our stay. Some of the staff are not super friendly at reception and I had some issues booking initially. The rooms are old and in need of a renovation.

The front desk clerk was polite, well-informed, and spoke good English, but his breath smelled unhealthy.
The shoe-shining machine on my floor was out of creme. I reported the problem Saturday afternoon, but it remained unaddressed through Sunday and Monday morning, when I left.
The hotel's plumbing and other fixtures are ancient -- even if in good repair. For example, I was unable to figure out, how to raise the water-temperature in the shower to my liking.
