No ceiling lights. Lamps did not work. Flashing neon light in window I was told was “decor.†Electrical socket in bedroom had no power.
Front desk service wasant good and nice
Hotel seemed unattended. Dirty, smelly. In the middle of renovation so right in the middle of the process
No free parking, only Valet parking. what a scam.
The location was good with a supermarket nearby & a few takeaway outlets. The room was clean and tidy.
The hotels pictures that are advertising the hotel were not showing what the hotel looks like now. It is in need of a lot of repair and a reburshment. The ceiling in the foyer had wet stain marks and panels missing or hanging down. Their were 3 lifts, 1 was under repair another never was in service and the third was old & rickety with the ceiling panel missing and in need of a new floor covering as it was uneven and cracked/warped in places. The room was clean and tidy. The windows were sound proof which helped block out most of the outside noise but they were very dirty and needed a clean and the blinds had holes in them. The queen bed was not comfortable (hard and dipped in places) and it was very close to the floor and the room had no cupboards/drawers to put anything in. The bathroom was small and basic with the door that you can’t close properly (it’s like a saloon door) so no handle to lock it. The bathroom is also dated and in need of repair, the only good thing about this room was the water temperature and the pressure was great. Would we stay here again...probably not unless we were deperate. My final opinion is that it is outdated, in need of repair/refurbishment and over priced and the pictures do not show what it REALLY looks like. The plus side is that it is nearby a supermarket and fast food outlets. I give it a TWO STAR rating.
