Pros: Beautiful hotel and for a hotel, the breakfast was exquisite. I definitely recommend to others looking for a place to stay.
Pros: large room, easily accommodated 4 people, good exercise room and outdoor rec area, spacious well decorated breakfast area and good variety for breakfast
Pros: Seperate rooms ... Bedroom vs den kitchen
Cons: Thermostat would not go below 73 degrees. It was like it was locked
Pros: cleanliness of the room and atmosphere of the location
Cons: no comment
It was a quiet place to rest . Not a lot of partying in the halls like I have experienced before.
Pros: Extra blankets and pillows were available. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Not just an offering of cereal, pastries, and such but a variety of hot items also. A suite of separate bedroom from living area was available.
Cons: Someone left liquor in the kitchen cabinet and that should have been removed before the next guests arrived. Some of the machines in the fitness room were not functioning. But at least I got to use a treadmill.
Pros: Room, Breakfast, Fitness and Business Center
Cons: The way some of the front desk staff rudely spoke with the other staff. I felt uncomfortable.
Cleanest hotel in Lafayette, friendly staff
Pros: Great clean hotel, great amenities
This hotel is fresh, new, and updated. It's a shame that it only gets 2.5 stars because it is much nicer than the Hilton down the road that is rated higher. The staff is friendly and was always ready to help. Isiah at the front desk Friday night was very nice and patient while I struggled with my 9 year old and 22 month old to find my ID. At breakfast there was a very nice lady named Janet who made it a point to wish me happy mother's day and every other mother there. There was a housekeeping manager Nancy who was so kind and polite when we requested a late check out. And there was a young lady at the front desk (I did not catch her name but she was graduating college this week) who found my son's lost sippy cup for us! We will be back to this hotel!
Pros: The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, the staff is super friendly, and the breakfast is amazing!
Cons: Can't say I found anything not to like about it!
GREAT PLACE TO STAY. MY FAMILY WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE SUITES AND THE DINING AREA.
Pros: CLEAN, WELL MAINTAINED,WELL STAFFED
Again excellent bed and breakfast with two children.
Pros: We had two rooms and weren't there very long but had a great bed and wonderful breakfast
Pros: Very nice hotel. Lot to do within 15 minutes. Great restaurants within 15 minutes also

Pros: Nice room, delicious free breakfast (with a wide array of food to choose from), child friendly hotel
Pros: Very clean Great Tvs Good breakfast

Pros: The cleanliness of the room and the amenities featured. Also the location being near the Lafayette Airport. The room was very spacious and comfortable.
Cons: Yes. I was quite unhappy with the fact that they were not equipped to run an airport shuttle at 4:30 in the morning. The advertisement says free airport shuttles and I needed to catch a flight at 6 a.m. . Fortunately, I was able to keep the rental car and

Pros: Great location
Cons: Locks on the door
Pros: The location of the hotel is great! It's in close proximity to anything you'd like to do.
Cons: There was a weird crusty white substance on the back of the bathroom door, but everything else was just fine.
Pros: The location was very important. The staff was friendly and the common areas were nice.
Cons: The smell in our room and from the air conditioning unit were horrible.
Pros: The room was clean, The breakfast was very good, the area was awesome!
Pros: Updated Rooms, friendly staff, great location!
Pros: The room was great, the bed way really comfortable and the hotel staff was as friendly as any I've ever come across.
Cons: My only complaint is that my window was right next to the pool and it was kind of loud until the pool closed, but it didn't detract from my stay.
Pros: Perfect location, hotel is clean and updated.
Pros: The location and staff were great! The room was comfortable, and the linens and towels were nice and clean.
Cons: The bathtub looked like it had seen better days. It was not necessarily dirty, but wear-and-tear over time had given it a less than desirable appearance.
Pros: Staff was very accomodating.
Cons: The we're remodeling the hotel and 2 rooms had mildew in the bathrooms.

Cons: When I had a question about the bill and called the local hotel and got Linda in accounting she was very rude! She immediately had an attitude and talked to me as if I was lying. Bad customer service!
Pros: The welcome home feeling along with a warm cookie waiting for you when you get there.
Cons: How you walk in on the second floor and the access to the rooms is ducked off by the elevators.
Cons: My toilet would not flush, my shower would not drain and the phone did not work to call the front desk for assistance. When I went down to speak with the manager, she said I'm sorry but there is nothing I can do just call where you booked and complain about us then maybe they will give your money back. They did not offer me any way to resolve my inconvenience nor did they send anyone to the room to verify my complaint. I'm glad it was just an overnight stay.
Pros: Location was good, staff was great, rooms were comfortable. Overall clean and nice
Cons: Room cleaning staff is in need of improvement. There was some hair in the shower and they only cleaned slightly during our stay. They made one bed sloppily and left the other unmade. The hotel was under major renovation so access was slowed to the entry and elevators, but it will be great when it's complete.
Pros: Friendly staff, nice bar, there was live music the one night which was fun.
The room was average, there are a few bars/restaurants within walking distance.
Overall good experience, and I got free cookies when I checked out!
Cons: No Fridge, No Microwave
Was not aware the entire Hotel is under construction, would have been nice to know before hand.
Pros: Rooms were clean and updated. Beds were comfortable.
Cons: No breakfast. You have to go to the bar and by food.
Pros: Our room was nice. It was well updated, quiet and clean. The staff was courteous and the maid was sweet. We did have to change rooms since we stayed an extra day, but it was little stress.
Cons: Our first room had a better view. There was construction as well. The front desk was kind of awkward.
Pros: The staff were very courteous, although at times informal. The room was clean and spacious with the standard furnishings you'd expect. Breakfast was delicious- HUGE portion sizes- quick service.
Cons: This was for an anniversary weekend, so I paid extra for a riverview room. At check-in, I was told they were over-booked on King rooms and I was asked if I'd rather two double beds. I asked if it was possible to keep my original reservation of a riverview room, I was told that wouldn't be an issue. We get upstairs and find a lovely view of the parking lot. Go back downstairs, address the situation with the front desk, was politely told there were no King riverview rooms available (despite having a reservation for one). I pointed out that I'd paid extra for the view and was told there would be no refund nor any sort of compensation. She gave some feeble statement on overbooking and attempted to divert the conversation to area attractions. I attempted to explain how reservations work/ethics of compensation when the product purchased is unavailable. In the end she smiled and played dumb and we paid extra for a view of a parking lot.
Pros: The staff was friendly and accommodated my request my second night.
Cons: I reserved a room a few months prior to my visit for a non-smoking room. When I arrived the hotel did not honor my request and gave me a smoking room since all the non-smoking rooms were taken. I guess a reservation holding certain options doesn't hold much wait. My clothes smelt like cigarettes the next day. Not cool.

Pros: Quite, easy to find. Close to everything by car. IHOP across parking lot. Comfortable beds.
Pros: The entire staff was fabulous! The front desk and housekeeping were awesome!!
Cons: My hotel stay was very good. The room itself looks a little dated due to the carpeting. The carpeting was very dark and it just didn't look clean.
Pros: Guests have a washer / dryer to use
Cons: Smallish fitness center - only two treadmills and one cycle - didn't matter as no one else was using it
Pros: This is the second time we have stayed here and both times we were very pleased with the price, staff, room. We slept in this time so missed the free breakfast. The last stay we had the breakfast and it was excellent Stay here and you'll be pleased
Cons: So few non smoking rooms
Cons: Rooms smelled weird! And there were stains on the carpet and mattresses!
Pros: CLEAN AND SPEEDY SERVICE GREAT BREAKFAST
Pros: Location near festival and its friendly staff
Cons: The first 2 nights the refrigerator was not working
Pros: The service
Cons: I know i had a smoking room but when i walked in it smelled like someone just sparked a cigarette. The tv was really small i could of paid $40 more for a better hotel.
Pros: The breakfast was pretty good and the overall value of the hotel was nice.
Cons: The shower in my room, as one person has previously mentioned, seemed to only operate at frigid or scalding with no in between. The towels were really coarse sandpaper masquerading as towels...
Cons: Broken shower faucet, either ice cold or scolding hot, no in between
Pros: staff was excellent!!! hotel offered very good hot breakfast, free soft drinks and popcorn and a happy hour with free beer/wine, nachos and chips. also free long distance. decent size room in a pretty good location.
Cons: kieed about 10-12 ants in the room over our 3 day stay but it fairness to the hotel, I did not mention the problem to them. also may be time to replace the mattresses. otherwise, it was better than expected and would definitely stay there again.
Pear Tree Inn by Drury provides an outstanding balance of quality, amenities and value. Guests can enjoy a free hot breakfast daily, free evening beverages daily from 5:30-7 pm, free wireless Internet access in all rooms and throughout the hotel, free local calls and 60 minutes of free long distance calls. We look forward to having you as our guest!
Pros: I loved everything about the town surrounding the hotel. The beds were soft inside the hotel, very comfortable. This is about the only nice thing I have to say about the hotel. Will be visiting the town again soon, but WILL NOT stay here.
Cons: We originally booked the hotel for it's indoor pool AND separate hot tub in the pool area. When arriving at the hotel, there was no hot tub like the pictures on the site. This was a big disappointment since this was one of the biggest reasons we even booked with them. Also, their breakfast is outrageous. $10 a person, you have to make almost all your things yourself. The only decent thing we seen on the menu was the omelets so we were willing to pay the money just to have an omelet. When getting to the window to place the order, the chef told us he is not cooking omelets right now because he was semi busy. We got out of line completely and went eat somewhere else. We stayed out of the hotel as much as possible the entire weekend

Pros: We love Hampton Inn for the cleanliness at this price. This place was no exception. Great room. We were upgraded at the front desk to accommodate or needs without any extra cost. Will continue to stay at the Hamtpon Inn every time we travel.
Cons: The breakfast here was not as good as the others we have stayed at in the past. It just seemed that the breakfast was an after thought. Still , was decent in spite of the downgrade.
Pros: Not much maybe parking and front staff
Cons: Room was smelly and my first sight when I pull up was a guy in his underwear on the first floor with the window cracked open smoking a cigarette. Yuck!! Then I could not sleep because there's a guy in the hallway right by my room talking on his cell phone half the night. So annoying. Stay somewhere else in Lafayette not worth what you pay.

Pros: It was very nice for an extended stay.
Cons: It was on the expensive side and $75.00 for pet for one night is outrageous to me.

Pros: We were there on a one night stay for a road trip. We didn't want fast food, which is what is close by, so decided to try the hotel restaurant. My daughter had the turkey BLT and I had the Thai chicken salad. The food was freshlyi made and surprisingly good.
Cons: I didn't appreciate the mandatory $20 incidentals charge. I know it would have been refunded if we hadn't used it, but it made me feel like I was not being trusted to pay for what I might buy.
Pros: Location was convenient and the hotel was very clean...
Cons: I didn't use the Bistro but wasn't too excited that they didn't have a continental breakfast. Had I known that before making the reservation, I probably would've stayed somewhere else.
Pros: The new bistro was nice and the new key cards where you tap them on the door handle to unlock the door was nice. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was good especially since it looked like they were in the middle of renovations.
Cons: Storage containers in the front of the hotel taking up parking spots could have been put in the back of the parking lot. The renovations looked more like retrofits. The attention to detail on the finishing touches was not there. I felt like I was in a older business hotel trying to look new, young, and hip. The bedding was lack luster, basically a very thin duvet not in a cover and a thing decorative sheet laid over it. I also had a blood spot on my sheet. The headboard was two foam pillows in white pillow cases standing up against the wall. It reminded me of that infomercial for the pillow that blocks the space between the between and the headboard so you pillow doesn't fall behind the bed.

Cons: Sink drained very slow. Tub stopper would not up.

Pros: The hotel was comfortable, clean, and had a nice breakfast. The hotel seemed quite safe.
Cons: Coming off of I-10, the drive in was a few miles, which was a minor inconvenience
Pros: Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room.
Cons: Very thin walls. Can clearly hear conversations in surrounding rooms and walking on upper floors.
Pros: Night staff was helpful. Location is good for getting to UL Lafayette.
Cons: This hotel is very noisy. We were on the first floor and the noise from above and surrounding rooms never stopped. We had family staying on the 2nd floor and they said the same thing. My daughter became ill (not from the hotel) and upon having to clean up in the middle of the night I discovered just how FILTHY the carpet in the room actually was. Stayed in a double room and listed 3 adults on the reservation. We had only two towels upon arrival and were only given 2 for our second day even though I requested an extra.
Pros: Everything but one thing.
Cons: People in the room next door played music, laughed and talked. No louder than anyone would. We could easily hear the music, the talk, and the laughter. It was almost as if they were in an adjoining room rather than the next hotel room. We stay in many hotels and these were the thinnest walls by far. It was annoying and kept us up late at night.
Pros: Bed was comfortable.
Cons: The management refused to grant a 2pm late checkout even though I was very sick and needed to stay in bed until my co-workers could pick me up. I would have been happy to pay a late checkout fee, but the general manager insisted on charging me another full day's rate despite the fact I left at 2pm, and plenty of housekeepers were still in the hallways, cleaning rooms. Very inflexible under special circumstances when a little kindness and understanding would have gone a long way. I won't stay here again.
Pros: Nice amenities, plush beds, clean bathrooms, great housekeeping staff.
Cons: Front desk clerks were snobby, unconcerned, and generally dismissive. There were a lot of unexplained drunks during our stay, and requests for policing their destructive behavior was frowned upon. We were treated as the inconvenience instead of the belligerent party animals. They were running up and down the halls, healing at each other, and rambunctiously changing rooms. Completely uncalled for considering the audience this hotel advertises to...
Conveniently located off Highway 90, this Wingate by Wyndham Lafayette Airport is near Vermilionville, Lafayette Regional Airport, Acadian Center for the Arts, University of Louisiana Lafayette, and many local restaurants. Ideal for both work and play, this smoke-free lodging offers complimentary continental breakfast, complimentary internet, fitness center, hot tub, airport shuttle, meeting and conference rooms, and 24-hour business center with complimentary print, copy and fax services. There is no charge for children under 17 when staying with an adult. Guest room amenities include microwave, refrigerator, safe and newspaper. Suites and handicapped-accessible rooms are also available.
Cons: The overall rating is low due to some loud teenagers there on a school bus. So, it has nothing to do with the hotel, but it is part of the experience, hence the rating.
Pros: Room and bathroom were very clean. Free breakfast provided many choices. Even though there was a dog fee and they couldn't help but see my dog, as we walked past the front desk several times, they didn't charge me the extra. Nice and quiet.
Pros: Great hotel. Brought our dog with us. Staff was polite and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Will stay here again.
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff at front desk and breakfast. Our room was clean and quiet.
Cons: There is a peculiar turn off of the highway to get to this hotel and adjacent businesses. I felt it could be dangerous if you were unfamiliar with the location.
Pros: location and price, it is old.
Cons: Old furniture.
Cons: Microwave had coffee spilled all over the inside from the previous stay. Which means it wasn't never checked or cleaned by cleaning staff.
Cons: It was old, and did not feel clean.
Pros: it's easy access from the freeway
Cons: smoking rooms had grime build up on the room phones and other areas in the room really looked like they lacked a routine deep cleaning of the rooms. Also, i had an issue with the TV channels not working and had to be switched to a different room.
Pros: Hotel was very clean. Hotel Employee was the lady who helped us. She did a great job. Very professional and prompt. Answered all my questions and informed us how to find our room. Beds and rooms were all clean. I'm picky and I was very satisfied
Cons: Can't say anything negative at all everything was exceptional!
Pros: Location off interstate. Staff was nice. Bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Not a fan of the breakfast. Carpets in the room were dirty.
Pros: Clean and quiet.
Cons: Breakfast was horrible. No seating and cold gross food.
