Incredible staff. Amazing breakfast. Excellent overall. ...Umm the passion fruit juice at check in was a tad sweet
From beginning to end, and everything in between, I was totally delighted with this hotel. Like every hotel, the prices of the drinks at the bar are substacially higher than if you went to an outside bar or restaurant, but the were not abusive by any means, just higher than drinks if you exited and went to a town bar or restaurant.
Spacious room and the staff were helpfull and professional. The hotel is new but the occupation is high. The breakfast was phenomenal and the varities was large. Booked a car for a 2 days trip to Hoi An with the hotel and the price is very reasonable. Camellia was the only one hotel which had a counter at Hue ariport to take care of their customers. Can't understand why Camellia is only a 4 stars hotel. Camellia beats for sure all the 5 stars hotels in Hue. Highly recommended at the best hotel in Hue None
Great Breakfast buffet, Location in "old city" good for sightseeing. Hotel tours and driver were very good.
Superb sevice. Excellent location Small and uncomfortable lobby
Very good service. Breakfastroom is a bit too small.
The location was absolutely central for sights and restaurants for a 2 or 3 day visit. The staff could not have been more helpful.
All round excellence. The staff were brilliant and standard of hotel that of at least a 4 star.
What can I say that hasn't already been said - fantastic hotel, fantastic staff, great breakfast, excellent value for money. A pool would be nice ;)
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There were lovely touches like chocolate on the pillow on our second night there. The beds were very soft so we were a bit achy.
Perfect hotel, excellent staff, good spa, nice restaurants, perfect and clean rooms. Not exactly cheap, but it's still good value.
Staff were very friendly and even gardeners greeted you with good morning or good afternoon. Very helpful with our small child. Assisted with queries about areas to travel and shop in Hue. A female staff member "Lo-an" was very helpful to us as a family. Rooms are set in landscaped areas, food was good but at resort prices. Onsite spa/beauty services were good. All was very nice, but if staying for a few days and have a baby/ child who needs day rest, you would be best to call housekeeping as you leave the room - they tended to come at different hours everyday .
Extremely nice hotel, definitely worth visiting. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Maybe the best hotel I ever stayed. The hotel is not located in the city, you will need to take a taxi to town (about 4 US$) or the free shuttle bus.
Great view, comfortable bed Prices for food, spa, excursions etc... are very high, staff is not very helpful (tries though...) and decoration is very tacky, not a real 5 star
Unfriendly and unexperienced staff. forget about sympathy. overall luxury without elegance. expensive in comparative terms to other hotels in the area, where some are, by far, a better deal.
Almost nothing. I booked for three nights and checked out after one. The only good news is that I wasn't charge a fee for the early checkout. The location is isolated with little access to restaurants or shopping. The room(s) were dirty and smelled of mold or mildew. The shower and toilet are in the same enclosure and moisture evaporates slowly making for slippery walking and wet toilet seats. The cover on the sofa was dirty and there was no desk or work area. I can't recommend this hotel!
The pool was nice. The grounds were in good shape. The proximity to the beach was good. The bathrooms were large. The A/C units in all of the rooms leak water out of the ceiling vents onto the floor. They also clearly have a mold problem in the A/C system (our first room smelled very badly--we changed rooms and the second had the same problem.) The A/C system serves all rooms. Customer service was not good. When we asked them to put us in a room that didn't smell of mold, we were directed to talk with an outside turnaround consultant on the premises who the hotel has hired to make the hotel a profitable concern. He would not tell me his name. But he did tell me that we were mistaken, that the rooms did not smell and there was no mold problem. Full stop. No attempt to remedy an unhealthy, and frankly disgusting room experience. We promptly left (without receiving a requested refund for our unused nights) and went to another hotel. It was worth the added expense. This place is not a place anyone should be forced to stay.
room size, view no dvd/cd player, no safe in room like advertised, very humid room
The hotel has a superb price/quality ratio. The staff was really nice and the service was great. Location was good. One block away of the main restaurant area, in a quite street. View was great. I would reccomend the motorbike tour to the tombs and the citadel. Perfect way to see Hue. We send an email for a pick up from the trainstation, but never had a response. Turned out not to be a problem, because taking a taxi was just as easy.
The staff in Vina hotel is really wonderful, they are all the time trying to make you all so easy!!The location of the hotel is reeally good, near the silk shops, restaurants and 10 min. walking to the Citadel. The breakfast was very poor!
Clean, very good value for money, nice big rooms
Staff was extremelly friendly and made us very welcome. We were upgraded to a better room free of charge and, for the amount we paid, this was probably the most pleasant stay we've had so far. What really made the difference, though, was the wonderful staff. No complaints - some other reviews pointed out that meals are not prepared at the hotel restaurant; we had dinner there once and didn't even notice until we read the review: the wait was normal, food tasty and hot, and prices no different from any other restaurant in the neighbourhood, so no problem for us.
Friendly helpful staff. Very large room, which overlooked the river. Best breakfast buffet of our 3 week travel through south east asia. Double bed requested but was actually a twin with the beds pushed together.
Location is convenient; it's only a short drive to the citadel and a boat can be rented just next to the hotel. Breakfast outside, at the terrace along the river, is wonderful! Breakfast buffet is delicious! Nice restaurants are nearby (try Khai Hoan, opposite of the hotel). Free internet is provided, but there are only two computers. These were often occupied. Staff at the reception was polite but not very enthusiastic.
Great location for a sunset drink by the river, and breakfast served with a great view too. Breakfast menu superb - divine pastries and tiny cakes that can't have many calories, can they..I stayed in a standard (superior) room: clean, decor fine but not not outstanding - in all, the facilities one would expect for a good 4 star hotel. Pool location not fantastic but a sizeable pool, wifi plus computers in lobby. Nice welcoming drink.
Staff were incredibly helpful and upgraded us to a wonderful suite. The pool was great as was the buffet breakfast
the great comfort of our big suite, expecially if related to the low price
it is a nice new hotel. almost ready.... no guests. more publicity?
Staff were accommodating when we were unhappy with our room. Happily moved us to another room. The Spa is terrible. I received a pedicure and manicure and my five year old niece could have done a better job. Don't offer a service if you are unable to deliver a good product.
Breakfast was very good and the view was wonderful.
Good location, nice and clean room, near many restaurants, free internet. Knowledge of the English language of the staff is very, very limited, which makes it difficult to have a good basic conversation with each other.
