Friendly and helpfull personal, Nice and quite rooms,
Good location within walking distance of most major attractions. The air conditioning in the rooms only works from May - sometime in the fall. So even though it was 30 degrees C outside in April, the rooms couldn't be cooled off without opening the windows. However the street noise makes it difficult to sleep with the windows open. Hotel mgmt said there was nothing they could do about this. We were told "it's winter....". I just find it strange that the lobby was air conditioned & cool, but the rooms couldn't be. Also if you're bringing a car please note the parking garage is a very tight fit.
Within walking distance of railway station. Free wifi in lobby. Not expensive. Long walk from the attractions of Granada
Friendly staff, good facilities and very efficient. Excellent restaurant - try the ensalada tropicana. The underground garage is a nightmare - difficult to find, nowhere to stop, narrow chicane into the depths of the earth.
It was colocated with Hetz car rentals so we could return our hir car to the hotel rather than spend hours trying to find the drop off poiint - although i9t did take us 2 and a half hours to get to our hotel from when we arrived in Granada following the instructions on the booking.com website which were incorrect!!! Location was not central as advertised by the Hotel
The location is near to the centre There is no fitness, swimming pool
Courteous reception staff, clean room and comfortable bed. There is not anything I dislike about the hotel
V friendly staff and rooms comfortable and v clean. the restaurant seemed overpriced and did not cater much for kids to eat, only alternative was a cafeteria and smoking was permitted which made it unpleasant. Bathrooms are looking a bit dated and not in the greatest of shape.
It was very easy to get to from the motorway and had (essential) car parking - though at a cost. It was some distance to The Alhambra but this was balanced by the quality of the hotel and the situation. It also had a very good cafeteria for drinks, breakfast and snacks.
Staff were very nice and helpful. Hotel has a nice feel, very clean and quite. Good location as well Parking was 14Euros per night but didn't tell me until i paid the bill. I would have asked for a deal as i was staying for 5 nights.
Very nice, modern and comfortable hotel, good location, only 10 to 15 mins walk to city centre. rooms a good size and quiet. managed to park in the street very close to the hotel, a plus. reception staff helpful and friendly. Everything was perfect.
Good and confortable place; clean and well placed. The staff freindly and helpful. I will come back and I recommend it. No complaints.
Good interior at reception area. GPS can't guide the hotel.
excellent value and breakfast
Everything!! It is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Nothing!!
Good value for money. Standard city hotel room - clean and functional. Location good for city visits - maybe a 10-15 minute walk to the centre. Taxis to the Alhambra are about EU 8-10. Snack bar does good (but expensive) food.
Wonderful swimming pool Expensive parking
the pool, service a bit far from the center core of town, when walking
The atmosphere and the service at the bar. The breakfast buffet was not especially good.
Location and views of the City were great, staff in the bar and reception also very helpful The food in the main Restaurant was not really four star ..pity really as the rest of the hotel was
good central position
The view of the Alhambra and Albaicin and mountains from our window was great. Our room was very comfortable and everything worked.
We were only there one night and the location was not as good as we hoped.
Excellent hotel in good location, 20 minute walk into town centre or short bus ride on regular service.Staff extremely helpful at all times, can't fault it.
One of the best hotels I have ever visited for such a good price (around 50 eur for a double room), beautifully designed spacious room, excellent view from the 14 floor, big bathroom, excellent location. Pay TV, expensive bar and restaurant.
location, clean and comfortable rooms, convenience to sights. no
the view was wonderful the bed was hard as arock
The Bathroom requires some work especially the bath area.It had mould and the shower mixer was very hard to operate.
Looked after by good staff who cared about guests. Its location and traffic niose even on the 5th floor.
The hotel provided free Internet. The hotel was only a couple of blocks from a stop on the City Tour bus. The hotel provided secure parking. The air conditioning system in the hotel was substandard, and I found the breakfast buffet mediocre.
Easy to find, and to park the car. Right next to Corte Inglés and Hipercor for shopping. It's 15 minutes walk from Granada centre, but that's no great hardship, unless it's raining.
The reception area is lovely and very inviting which gives a lovely first impression. One thing, the breakfast finishes too abrubtly. On the dot of 10 o'clock you feel like you have to finish up very quickly as all the tables around you are being cleared and the remaining food has all been taken away. Bascially I feel you could leave a 10 minute gap before the mad rush of cleaning up starts.
Location excellent, staff very obliging and always willing to assist. Restaurant buffet style with plenty of choice and ability to satisfy all tastes.Excellent value for money.
Located well for access to motorway which helped in a large city roadnetwork. Very impressive foyer and facilities- good choice at breakfast and room service. Helpful Staff on reception - particularly David. A taxi ride away from the Centre - but this is the price you pay for easy access from Motorway!
Good welcome from attentive receptionist, who from the outset used and remembered my name, even the following morning when checking out. Very clean hotel. Excellent variety and quality of breakfast. Parking at reasonable rate under the hotel. Easy to find hotel, entrance well signposted.
Breakfast was extensive if perhaps lacking in 5* quality, which I could expect of a 4* to be fair. The room was of a good size and was well decorated and clean. It had a pool, although not terribly enticing to get in to, it helped with the 40+ degree heat. The curtains allowed for total sun exposure black-out, great for siestas in July! The pool area was severeley lacking an upgrade to bring it in line with the other good hotel facilities.
The hotel was shabby smelly and by no means a 4 star
Very good location, staying in what we considered to be a piece of historical Spain and would have no hesitation in recommending to others. Poorly lit access to hotel at night. Need to say on website that you cannot park but this is not the hotels fault - just a matter of fact due to the nature of the area but best to be forewarned.
the interesting building layout, helpful staff, excellent breakfast To have coffee/tea available at any time would have been welcome.
The decor of the hotel It was very difficult to find. It was not explained to us on the website that the hotel is situated the old town where cars are not permitted. We got were driving around for about an hour with sat nav trying to find this place! Also, whilst the rooms were very nice and clean, the noise was terrible. Everything echo's through the courtyard.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the rooms are very comfortable. Our room was facing the inner couryard and it was hard to get light into the room without compromising our privacy. We requested a room with a view but we were told it would cost more. For the price we paid we should of had a room with a nice view. This hotel is a little overpriced.
Liked everything. Good value and very good atmosphere.
Great hotel! Loved the design/style of the courtyard, sitting room, and our room. The Ned was comfortable. Location was fantastic. Breakfast was great. Overall great value. The hotel advertised free wifi, but we couldn't get on the network.
It was wonderful. Staff was helpful and friendly, breakfast was great, hotel was adorable, location was fantastic. Just that smoking was allowed in the foyer. We had a wonderful room with gorgeous, big windows that I wanted to open up, but it seemed that often there were guests smoking there and it drifted into our room, which was kind-of a bummer.
beautiful facility, very helpful staff, and a great location.
staff very pleasant, very good breakfast, central location, our room was too dark and airconditioning too noisy.
We had a beautiful room overlooking the central courtyard. It is such a lovely old building to stay in. The location is very central. All during our stay the central courtyard was covered with a sunshade even though it was late Autumn and it was difficult to tell what sort of day it was outside, it also made our room quite dark. The morning we left they pulled it back, it made such a difference. Also there were no lifts to our room, we had to carry our heavy international suitcases up (and down) 27 steps.
The best part of our stay at the Palacio de los Patos was the food and service in the restaurant - we were completely surprised and delighted by the delicious tapas brought to our room, the excellent buffet breakfast each morning and the dinner we ate one evening in the hotel restaurant. Excellent location in the shopping center of the new city. The staff seemed to be young and inexperienced - polite and tried hard. The problem was the room - minimalism decor was extremely uncomfortable to the point of total discomfort, The rainshower from the room above us came pouring into our room, glass doors were hadardous, not a single draw, no where to put anything away. Designers loved purity but forgot the needs of the guests.
The old part of the hotel looked spectacular, shame that you didnt get to stay in a room in this part. Very central location. Convenient to walk to all the sites and nightlife Spa was very disapointing, staff were very attentive but the pool was too cold to sit in and relax and the steam room was only big enough for 4 people to sit comfortably. Room was ok but was not keen on the glass walls for the toilet and shower (personal preference) and dissapointed that one of the dressing gowns in the room was ripped.
We were delighted with Palacio de los Patos. It was everything we hoped it would be. Central, pleasing modern decor, interesting building, courtyard garden area. The staff were at the same time attentive and onobtursive. The breakfast buffet was good with local cheeses and meats and divine pastries. room service brought early morning tea very promptly. We ate in the restaurant on two evenings- it was elegant and relaxing and we recommend the tapas selection.
The location is incredible. We felt like we were in the heart of Granada without being at the epicenter. You can walk to the Catedral de Granada, the Albaicin and the Alhambra (although that is steep and you might want to taxi). Even without those amazing sites the plazas and winding streets are charming and enough for any tourist. The Hotel is beautiful. One modern building and one classic. Both are kept up. We stayed in the modern building and looked upon the classic. It was done in a way that didn't distract from either building. The staff is friendly. If you've rented a car then you can park it for a small fee. The Food & Beverage department appears to be severely understaffed. The staff works hard but they seem frazzled and their scope of work seems to be too large - indoor and outdoor seating as well as bar tending and bussing.
the hotel was beautiul. the service and location were great. I wish I could have stayed here even longer.
Very helpful staff and efficient service. Room was very contemporary (in the new part of the hotel). It would be good if they provided some movie channels for the TV. Might also be helpful to provide a local guide, listing some good bars/restaurants close to the hotel etc.
The staff was lovely. The breakfast and dining room staff were quite friendly and accommodating.
Excellent room (quite 3rd floor - central - new building). Staff were superb.
Liked everything, the hotel was fabulous, the staff was the best. Great hotel, great location, great setting, great staff!
Unusual design, location. Over priced.
The beds were very comfortable It was very noisy - traffic, people shouting, street cleaners all through the night.
We were upgraded to the older section of the hotel which was very quiet. The room was very spacious and nicely appointed. Last few nights in Spain, thought we would splurge. Hotel recommended some excellent restaurants.
Fabulous hotel layout with good food selection for breakfast. Location is great for access to Alhumbra. Hotel is a converted monastery so had lots of space and many interesting alcoves to explore. Very clean and well serviced except for drinks waiter who 'forgot' to serve us more than one drink. Very poor drinks service in the lounge
Central Location, friendly staff
very well situated
The reason I selected Santa Paula was because the Hotel is in a 14 th century house , convent., medieval courtyard and the location.Unfortunately I did not receive the rooms I requested (courtyard view). I was not told the "type" of rooms I reserved were not located on the courtyard. Very frustrating. We revived every day in the Turkish Bath and sauna. The staff were helpful . Your descriptions and prices are extremely misleading. The reason I selected The ac Santa Paula was because the Hotel is in a historic building with a medieval courtyard + location.I Specifically requested a court yard room .I specifically requested 2 rooms on the court yard. We received 2 tiny new rooms in a new wing I did not know existed. The staff informed me the rooms I reserved were not on the court yard! Why did not some one inform me upon my reservation. The next morning the gracious staff moved our belongings to rooms facing the courtyard. They did not inform us that the court yard (not on the court yard level but facing the court yard) rooms were not the same rate I had been quoted substantially $$. Very frustrating experience.
excellent service, helpful front desk, great location, knowledgeble about restaurants, etc
Extremely friendly staff, well positioned hotel, excellent bathroom with huge bath, free minibar, we had free coffee every morning ordered through room service. Only 1 english speaking tv channel - CNN.
The best thing about staying at the hotel was free internet acces, the courtyard, easy acces to the centre of the city. Free mini bar was good There was no music channel availabe through the tv. No cd player or radio to listen too. The safey deposit box should be in the room with a coded box. The sauna facilites were good but a swimming pool would have bene better. No tea and coffe facilites availabe in the room.
perfect location, nice room expensive, especially meal services
style of hotel and convenient position
Excellent location in the city center of Granada. Most places easily reachable by foot. Nice room with fantastic veranda (room 503). Very small lobby and room space little bit small (but not unexpected for such buildings in the city center). Steps to reach elevator with luggage.
The hotel staff provided very good services. Before our arrival, they gave us sufficient info. on how to get to their hotel and helped us in booking Alhambra tickets. Upon our arrival, they gave us a lot of instrucutions on transportation and restaraunt. The hotel room was wonderful with nice decoration and comfortable facility. We felt really satisfied with this hotel.
excellent rooms and bathrooms, great breakfast- all fresh and well stocked up would have preferred a proper double bed instead of twin beds
The receptionist was very friendly and wifi was for free.
Location was great. Very friendly staff.
Nearness to city center The impracticability to reach the hotel by car to deliver the luggage (what is out of your power to do something about)
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is convenient with easy access to all main points off the city. The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent!
Good position, right in Granada center, pedestrian zone. That means on the other hand that a parking is near only paying 18 Euro per night. But that's the general situation in Granada, and not the hotel's fault. Anyway, nice place for city trip.
Raphael at the front desk was immensely helpful. Despite being a one-man show, he was very helpful and accommodating. Location of the hotel was fantastic as well. Even though the front desk was not staffed 24/7, frankly, there isn't so much to do in Granada that will keep you out of your hotel after 11pm. There is an additional door hiding the door to our room. Feels a bit creepy.
super friendly staffs, clearn & modern room
Opposite of Alhambra entrance. Diner was OK, but a bit like the Dutch "Van der Valk".
Location within walking distance to the Alhambra Palace was excellent
Proximity to Alhambra was brilliant!! Just a 5 minute walk away Rooms are slightly on the small side, but still very comfortable and good value for money
Comfortable hotel, offering good value for money, just across the road from the ticket office of the Alhambra.
The proximity to the Alhambra was excellent. Quiet location. Very convenient for regular bus service to the city.
The location is superb, Alhambra is at the corner, the center is also in short distance (15 minutes walking or 5 minutes bus). The hotel is very well organized, staff is very well trained, everything is working smootly and effeciently. Considering the price category no complain can be made.
superb location overlooking alhambra. city bus tour stops just across the road. bathroom not well equipped for 4 star hotel. when dining in hotel restaurant, unable to order wine by the glass. when dining in barbecue area, able to order wine by the glass but unable to order coffee.
Closenes to AlHambra NA
staff very helpful and location next to alhambra bathrooms too small and showers too small
Good position, well run
everything very good nothing
Good location, room a bit small but in perfect conditions, large bathroom, and parking
It is very good in all You are considering Staff : they are professional but could be more friendly and not so formal
Really small room. I've requested for a non smoking room and they gave me a smoking one. Window view poor, just in front of a wall. I would have given this hotel 4 stars category. I would have given 2 or 3 stars no more.
central,relatively quiet location,friendly staff,good sized room
friendly and competent staff, communication in english or french possible, very clean rooms, good breakfast, central location There is only one thing which is inherent to its central location-quite noisy not to be recommended to people to sensitive about that( we had to use ear plugs first and second night afterwards we were too tired:-)))
Came to visit some friends that were already familiar with the area. -cleaniess of the room -spacious -staff members were great -close to all the cafes, tapas, restaurants and shops -next to the bus stop to see the Alhambra -there are a few signs for the hotel but it could use some more as there are no major streets to it. That's about it.
the best hotel i have ever stay in, everything was so amazing, i really liked my room, and the hotel is renovated so everything looks perfect...
nothing special. Receptionists were not very helpful and welcoming on our arrival. Room was too hot and no windows on the outside to air the room. Breakfast was horrible and finally we had to pay for extended checkout, definately overrated!
location was great, bang in the city centre. Good hotel Poor internet access.
Location is absolutely fantastic. Also at night there is terrasse with overview to the Cathedral.
Although off season, the food was magnificent and plentiful. The hotel was spotless.
Because the facilities
Nice room, good staff, clean, no noise, good airco, nice bathroom, swimming pool to cool down at end of day Location (15 min walk to center - bus is available closeby) - Jacuzzi didn't work
clean and large rooms. 15 min walk to center. good price for last time. road working front of the hotel. a little bit dusty.
In our case the negative experiences prevail. Therefore we cannot recommend this hotel. I am sure there are much better choices. This hotel was one of the most chaotic we have experienced so far. At the reception was an unexperienced person, although very kind. First we got the key(card) for a wrong room. In the bathroom the glass wall between the tube and the rest of the bathroom was missing (obviously there used to be one before) so that after taking a shower there was water all over the bathroom. Poor English of the reception staff (e.g. we asked if breakfast is included and they said yes, but in the end we had to pay 10 Euro per person). Breakfast was not bad but not worth 10 Euro. The hotel is a little bit difficult to find by GPS as there are many construction works around the hotel and many roads are closed. Swimming pool was still filled with water but closed
Good facilities though they did not have any record of the booking. Luckily, it was out of season so they managed to find a room for us. the staff were pleasant and efficient. More of a business hotel than one for travellers. It was a good 15-20 min walk into the centre of Granada.
The room was very complete and comfortable and the staff very friendly and accurate.
reception staff were excellent.many thanks Alberto no tariff displayed for the minibar only 1 english tv channel
Modern contemporary design hotel, excellent facilities (although would have been good to know in advance that the pool and jacuzzi are on an outdoor terrace, and only open between June-September). The staff were super helpful - called taxi's for us, valet parked and returned our car from the parking garage underneath the hotel, and were quick to service any requests regarding our stay. Room was clean and comfortable, good space for unpacking and loads of wardrobe space too. The bathroom was high quality with granite surfaces and bath surround, and the power shower was well needed after a hard day's snowboarding in Sierra Nevada!!! Good access to the centre of Granada - a short walk or taxi ride takes you to Carrera de Genil where you will find many shops including the El Corte Ingles department store. This hotel also has very easy access back onto the ring road and is easy to find coming into the city. Will definitely stay here again.
the parking is apart a hotel, so i didnt like, that is necessary to cross the road.
Nice hotel, great room. Enjoyed the hotel. There is no parking at this hotel. The description said there was. Street parking was available, but when we followed the instructions from the front desk and parked where he circled on the map, the spot was not legal. I narrowly avoided a tow and got a ticket.
Having bus stops just outside the Hotel for both city centre and the Alhambra made the location ideal. Also the hotel was very easy to find and had good parking facilities.
I booked this hotel based on reviews alone and it did not disappoint. The hotel was opulent and luxurious, and the staff was impeccable. It was the nicest place we stayed in Spain, and it was not the only 4 star hotel; it was noticeably better than the other 4 star accommodations we chose.
Everything about this hotel wa just fine - staff, rooms, cleanliness ad breakfast. Must travel to city center, but I was prepared for this and Ididn't mind.
Think this is a very new hotel as it took for ever for staff to check us in, sort out small problem with car park.
Excellent..... It's neighboor is the Mezquita. The house was built by the romans, before the muslim arrival. It is a trully incredible experience. The hotel staff is cordial and the hotel offers everything that a tree stars hotel does.
Nice modern styled, compliments! Good facilities The wifi internet is not working. That's a shame, becaurse it is an important facility for us.
modern very comfortable Hotel-big rooms and good views (624). Bus stops outside to reach city centre, every 15 mins 1 Euro. Very sharp towel rail at front of wash basin- both wifes (two bookings) scratched themselves badly!!!!1
The hotel was easily reachable by car and within easy distance of the Alhambra. The design of the rooms is nice. As in almost all of these kind of hotels it is impossible to control your own room temperature. The airconditioning didn't work, therefore I complained about our room being too hot too sleep to the reception and the receptionist said she would turn down our heating in her computer system and advised us to open a window. Even after that, it was so hot in the room that we had to sleep without sheets. Opening the window helped a little but brought in the sounds of the very busy conjunction of streets on which the hotel is located. The second night the room seemed even hotter and in the middle of the night i called the reception to complain, but both phones in the room didnt work! It was impossible to sleep in this hotel. Would never go back.
Loved the hotel, would definitely go back and recommend it!
A really great hotel ideally placed for Alhambra palace within an uphill walking distance. Bus stop right outside to take you into the city at 1.2 euros. Large comfortable room with mountain views, great buffet breakfast with loads of choice helpful friendly staff at reception, on site underground parking (extra cost), overall excellent.
The location is very good, quite close to the city center as well as alhambra. The location has very few parking places and I have considered the prices of the hotel parking a little too expensive.
We have been twice before and wanted to return as we knew how good it was.
The rooms with balconies are very nice to sit out on in the summertime. The foyer of the hotel is well presented. Our room appeared as if it hadn't been painted in about 30 years. The rooms could do with updating, but the bed linen & beds were clean. Not all the facilities the hotel listed were in the room, for instance we had no mini bar, & there was only one plug socket in the room. The pool had some leaves and dust in it, however people still enjoyed it.
Had an excellent massage in the spa Air conditioning in room too noisy
Convenient to leave the car outside. Rooms were large. The hotel was on the edge of town and so it was a 15 min walk to get into the centre of Granada. Not ideal for the Alhambra, Albaicin or city centre sites. Decor was a little tired and in need of a lick of paint in the rooms and corridor carpet was pretty stained and grim. The hotel was also quite noisy as you could hear chairs dragged across floors from rooms below, above and either side. Though full when we stayed in October, it was a souless place - no-one in any public rooms or bar.
Clean and comfortable room with balcony. 10 minutes walk from town centre and Alhambra. Helpful staff. We were able to leave luggage until late evening after checking out at 12pm. We got no reply when we rang for room service. The outdoor pool was full of leaves and the spa treatments available were very expensive, €23 each for the indoor heated pool. That was disappointing since the facilities were the main reason we chose the hotel.
Quiet area but easily accessable to all the sights of Granada. Spa facilities available We would have liked drink making facilities iin the room - tea & coffee
large room clean breakfast very poor, quality and quantity both bad
Use of Spa which is free to residents in the a.m however this was not highlighted so guets should be informed. Staff ere freiendly and efficient and Spa was superb nothing
Location Room was very nosiy and we were charged more than three time the price for staying Saturday night from the price for staying on Friday. Thiis is outrageous and will be reported if no refund is given.
The staff were exceptinoally helpful. Please tell them that the toursits with the 2 bicycles thought that they were great
Good location, right in the centre of town and just a short walk from the Alhambra and other sights. The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The wifi didn't work for a day or two while I was there, although the rest of the time it worked very well.
lovely, large and comfy beds. and a full sized bath.
Convenient location and good quality family room. Rather noisy due to proxmity to centre of city, but thats perhaps predictible enough and the drawback associated with its convenience. Overall a good choice. No, it was a very good place for a family to stay with big airy room and plenty of space
not so clean AC
The position is great: just in the middle of the city. The breakfast is wonderful: you can find every kind of sweet and salty stuff. Some room (like ours) is close to the lift and the noise could be bothersome. The same is the case for the toilet of the near rooms.
Noise at night;windows need secondary glazing.
Location was good, and the price was good enough ( didn't pay breakfast), clean room. It was not that confortable, old elevators, on the hallway to our room there was an open air conditioning vent open looking quite dirty, view was awful.
We booked this hotel because of location. When we entered to the rooms we booked there were windows opened so the room was very cold. The airconditioning was not sufficient to warm it in a while. Heating was there but was not good enough so we vere cold the first night. After second night when we finally were happy we had to change both rooms due to technical problems. We got better rooms but close to the place where was a party with music until 11pm. Was very noisy even if the windows vere closed. On top of it we don't think that the room are cleaned every day. By mistake we spil a bit of cereales on the floor and it stayed there for two days. We were really dissappointed with this hotel.
Very bad, old hotel. Condition, wifi don't work. Very bad, old hotel. Condition, wifi don't work.
The rooms were larger than usual, brand new furniture it seemed. Bathroom was clean and comfortable. Not a single parking space!!!!! It is located on an Avenue, but all parking spots nearby were only for handicapped... 200 Euro fine if you use them without a handicapped permit. We had to park 3 blocks inside the neighborhood, in the freezing temperatures.
Nice, clean modern rooms, lovely setting, good buffet breakfast. The staff could have been more helpful in recommending restaurants and providing information.
close proxiemity for city attractions
The building that the hotel is housed in is lovely - a former monastery with typical tiled walls and a nice courtyard with orange trees. The photos really do not do the place justice. It is also right by the river and within easy reach of the town centre and Alhambra, so the location is great. The air con didn't seem to cool the room down very much, but in fairness, it was 45 degrees outside and we didn't ask reception if we had set it right. It was still an OK temperature to sleep.
Greeted with a smile when i came in. Very friendly. Nice room, very clean. Free wireless and it was reliable - i was able to skype with family back home. Great breakfast - and healthy too! no negative comments. it was a great stay.
During Santa Semana, the location next to the church was great. the food was excellent. The receptionists were not very accomodating and did not have much information available for tourists as a normal concierge would have.
Excellent location, interesting building and very close to parking. Charming reception staff.
Very nice river side location in a converted old monastery. Helpful staff. Good value for the money.
Close to the old Arab quarter and at the bottom of the hill to the Alhambra.
Location, very helpful staff speaks English, breakfast well worth the money nothing
Liked the location at the plaza--within walking distance of the sites in the city close to the taxis, restaurants and pharmacy. The person at the reception desk was very helpful. Wished that kleenex was provided in the bathrooms.
The hotel is very clean and comfortable and in an ideal location. The staff was very helpful. We liked everything.
Location Stairway Noise
The hotel is located in the center of the city and easy to access around by bus or on foot. Also staffs are very helpful.
Locality of hotel. Good sized bedroom. When taking a shower the temperature of the water changed constantly.
Location, breakfast and helpful reception. Small rooms and old furniture.
Very friendly staff, great breakfast, nice location
The location of the Anacapri was off the main boulevards making it quiet in a noisy city. The location is very central to all the sites and easy to reach by bus. The room was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The hotel has pleasant, helpful English speaking staff. Our room was a good size, but I saw others that looked very small. The wi-fi was free because we showed Rick Steve's Travel Guide, otherwise there was a high fee for it. Also, the wi-fi had to be reprogramed several times while we were there...they need to get that fixrd permanently.
Kathy at the front desk was fluent in English and helped us in several ways. The floor of our room was not very clean.
Good location, helpful reception staff, good breakfast buffet Slightly noisy outside on Saturday night, passing locals and bar not connected to the hotel
The hotel is very close to the cathedral and the shopping centre of Granada. It is at walking distance to the old centre of Granada and we only took the bus to the Alhambra because we did not want to make the climb up. Excellent value for money.
the very helpful desk staff that were able to assist us with our stay and provided accurate information about Granada
Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
Very centrally located and clean. Has wifi available in lobby free. Front desk staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful when I worked with them. Walls are thin and people are loud late after midnight in this hotel. If you open interior or exterior windows it will be very loud in your room. Bring ear plugs.
This hotel provided us with a great accommodation including a smile from Kathy at no cost!. She looked after our reservation for the Alhambra with a speed and efficiency when we have registered at the hotel and gave us tips on the city tours. What a nice touch to our traveling in Spain! Thank you, Kathy. We have no complains about this hotel in Granada. Enjoyed our stay tremendously.
Staff friendly and helpful. Able to give accurate and useful information about site seeing in Granada No parking. Although did give alternative once we had arrived, would be useful to have that information before arrival.
The location was excellent. Breakfast coffee poor.
hotel location is excellent. close to all important turist site of the city 1.hotel is very noisy. 2. Breakfast is quite poor
Friendly staff Bar shut by 1pm
Friendly, efficient staff, valet parking, nice rooms, excellent breakfast.
The location is right in the centre of Granada and rooms are adequate. Bathrooms are small in comparison to room and need some upgrading. We had great difficulty in arriving to the hotel by car. The main street leading up to it, was a one way street and thus inaccessible. There was ony one sign on this main street with small letters saying traffic related to hotels was permissible. We missed this, and spent the best of two hours trying to make our way there. Furthermore, the street where the hotel is located was inaccessible due to ongoingroworks and the hotel garage was further down th hill, this we had to walk up with 4 luggages to reception desk. No assistance was offered. On day of departure receptionist would not assist with our luggages to go to garage and had it not been for the garage representative at the hotel to help out we would have had to carry all the luggage.
The easy and relaxing atsmosphere of the hotel. The friendly and helpful staff at all times. Nothing I disliked. Everything was very pleasant.
The location. Staffs are not friendly. Wifi signal can be used only hotel lobby.
I was in a rush when I first came to check in. One of the staff said he would take care of the bags and I could finish my check in when I returned. When we returned a few hours later, check was quick and bags were delivered to our room. Then when we needed help once again at the front desk someone assisted us right away and got us the information we needed. Customer service was excellent. Water pressure was great too. Location was really close to everything. About 5 minute drive from Alhambra. Found a few hairs in the bathroom that were not ours (sink, bathtub). Standard Room was a bit small with our bags opened up and the washroom was tight as well. We were there on a Friday night and stayed up pretty late but when we decided to call it a night, we could still here a lot of noise from the street. Disadvantage of being in such a good location close to everything.
the location. the parking. The street was quite noisy. the room looked a bit shabby (stains on the carpet and on the wall) for a four stars hotel.
Large room and bathroom with balcony and lovely view of mountains and Alhambra. Very comfortable bed and very quiet [though the hotel was not busy and possibly there was no-one else on our floor]. Unfortunately no mention of the ongoing roadworks which currently make it impossible to drive to the hotel. We eventually gave up trying, parked and walked the two blocks with cases. Would not have booked if I'd known, but once there the roadworks weren't a problem except to spoil the view of the road.
Hotel was centrally located for walking almost anywhere. Parking facility was good although expensive. We had an excellant room which was maintained very well. The room which we occupied had no safe.
Apart from the windowless room issue, this is a nice hotel in a good location, right at the edge of the old city. The hotel has a parking at the adjacent building, but it can fill up very quickly on busy periods, so it's worth checking beforehand for alternate parking (very few garages around the old city) . Reserved a standard room, but when I arrived at the hotel (on a very busy weekend), it turned out, to my surprise, that my room didn't even have a window (there was something that looked like a window, but it wasn't a window and couldn't be opened). Given that the A/C was working only on heat, there was no way to air the room which was pretty hot, and the hotel was fully booked, so they couldn't move me to a different room. I would've thought that a minimum requirement for a room in a 4-starts hotel is to have a window. Turns our I was wrong.
Very nice hotel in a fantastic location within walking distance to everything. A lot of street noise n mattress was very hard not the luxury mattresses you would expect in this type of hotel. But I would certainly stay here again.
Size of the room We were located in the annex where all rooms have non functioning items
Price, quality of room fittings, quality of breakfast menu - good value for money. Impersonal bar area, no atmosphere. No iron or ironing board available to guests
very nice hotel.
Friendliness of staff and easy access to city of Granada.Luxury bathrobes and slippers!! The restuarant could have been better, hence we had breakfast at corner cafe.
I can't rate this hotel highly enough. The price was excellent for the room we stayed in - it was a large, modern double room with a couch bed for our daughter. We only had to pay a small supplement on the double room rate for the extra bed. The pool area was gorgeous and very quiet throughout our 3 day stay - The entire pool area is enclosed by a 4ft glass fence with a secure entrance gate which would make it a very attractive option for a family with young children. It costs approx 4-5 euro to get a taxi to the city centre - the reception were great in organising this and a taxi would arrive in minutes, so no waiting around. There is a Lidl supermarket next door if you need to stock up on drinks, sunscreen, snacks etc. The wooden sun loungers at the pool were a bit unconfortable - would be great if there were cushions for these.
Proximity to Al Hambra is only 5 minutes by taxi. Close to the bus stop for getting into the centre of town. Excellent cafe/ice cream bar around the corner from the hotel. Wonderful spa/Thalassatherapy centre.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location for the half marathon was perfect. The spa was amazing.
Modern hotel nice swimming pool Double charge of rooms because max kids per room is 1 with 2 parents
the pool area and cleanliness of the hotel was amazing. really enjoyed it. couldn't fault the hotel facilities. the location was outside of town but it was easy to access the city by bus or taxi (approx €4)
Easy access to Alhambra and high way. Little far from city but not a real problem. Spa was great.
