Great pool and excellent breakfasts. Right on sea front so easy for swimming and lazing. An easy and interesting walk to Sopot which was lovely. Very near to tram for Gdansk which was also a great day out. Definitely the place to stay to enjoy something of everything. We did have a car though which meant that we could go out each evening to find somewhere good to eat. Shame that the saunas were male/female - we prefer mixed so we can relax together. Having car was good as very few restaurants really close to hotel.
Non smoking room reserved but not available at check in.
The fact that we spent 6 nights there and we had not a single sunny day made us really sad. Specially when you are travelling with two little kids. Despite this we could enjoy it due to the family oriented services and we all relaxed quite well. There is unfortunately no air conditioning.
The pool was ok and the location ok. Breakfast was poor with mouldy bread served. The room though non smoking had loads of cigarette burns on carpet. The gym was basic at best.Booked an early call, yet wasn't called. Many smokers.
Nearnes of the sea
We had a wonderful time and cannot say enough good things about the hotel. It was clean, reasonably priced, the staff was friendly and helpful, simply perfect! We booked the room with full breakfast, this included scrambled or boiled eggs, assorted sausages, black pudding, baked beans or mushrooms (they alternated), an assortment of fruits, cold meats, cheeses, breads, sweet rolls, cereals, yogurt, juice, and hot drinks. We also tried several things from the room service menu. Everything was excellent. The only complaint is that they did not seem to know what exactly a 'Club Sandwich' is, and sent some rather creative interpretations of this. Not bad, just not a club. The dinner buffet in the dining room was also good, a bit cheaper, but simpler food. The location was perfect if you want to go to the beach. If you want to use the tram, it is a bit of a walk, not too far, but if you have mobility issues it can be difficult. Get specific directions. It is not too complicated but it is not right out front either. The bus is closer, if it goes where you need to. Along the path behind the hotel are several restaurants, we liked the one by the boat club. Excellent food if you're not in a hurry, and we recommend the apple pancakes. There is also mini-golf close by, and the pier is about 2 km away. There are many activities in the hotel itself, for the whole family. Pool, exercise room, tennis, video games in the lobby, and more. We spent most of our ten days relaxing in or near the hotel. We would definitely stay here again or recommend it to a friend. Room Tip: 8th floor, excellent view! It was a bit difficult finding the tram stop the first time. Get specific directions.
Friendly staff, good location, very nice view, clean and comfortable room. Gym equipment way too old and wrong located at the pool (!!!), very old facilities, no underground parking, average breakfast, small bar, old style lobby.
Hotel is situated on the beach. Indoor swimming pleased our children and the sauna was good. Service-minded hotel receptionists. Breakfast should be included into prise. My children 12 and 10 could been fit to our room instead of taking an own room for them. Extra bed's width was 120 cm.
the location the bar and restaurant staff not friendly and not helpful
I like the location, the hotel staff (reception) and the free internet.
I have liked Swimming pool , good location of the hotel, parking . Price of this nice hotel must be little less. personal of restraunt ( administrator )
Very grand hotel, situated 5 mins walk from the beach and very close to Gdansk. Lovely big room, with super fast free wifi available. Note, the #143 bus runs from Oliwa station to Sopot station and stops right outside the hotel. So avoid those expensive taxi trips. Breakfast is rather expensive.
room had a beautiful view over the park, you listen to birds singing and sea sounds from your bed bathrooms could be more modern , with new bathtubs and showers...
The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Also the rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The staff were ready to help with any queries.
location Admistration of restoraunt
the hotel was quiet & I got more than that paid for a hotel I was with the car & it was a little difficulty each time the display of paper to the janitor. in the hotel room sink & bath could be better. particularly water screw
Excellent value for money. A little out of the " Old Town " but frequent trams mean you are only 20 mins away. You have the best of both worlds beach and town.
it was close to the beach. it would of been nicer if there were tea making facilities in your room. The bar drinks need to be cheaper as you could go across the road and get 2 drinks for the price of one the hotel were charging
Had problem about breakfast in the morning, and had to deposit 100 zloty to be served. Later i printed comfirmation from my laptop, from where it showed that beakfast included.
The staff, especially the reception staff who would go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.
Great and helpfull staff, excellent location, close to the beach. Lovely breakfast, lots of choices No information about local attractions at the hotel. Hotel doest have double beds, only singles
location! good price! good service
Very quiet and peaceful. Uopn check in, receptionist didn't know anythihng about my reservation. She thought we were staying 1 day, when in fact we were staying 5. I reserved a room with one large bed.(i thought) The first room they gave us had 2 single beds. When we asked to change for a larger single bed, they gave us a smaller room with a bed that was a twin rather than a single. (too small for 2 people) They were not very friendly or helpful. My wife's sister also booked a room. Which was the much larger single room, with a huge bed. The room we booked had a strange configuration. The bedroom was just that, a room with a bed. The tv and desk area was separated from the bedroom by a doorway and wall. This place needs to be updated.
Clean, well designed rooms, quiet and nice. Tasty breakfast. No drinking water in room (maybe due clean tap water.
Excellent breakfast and nice, helpfull staff.
Location was brilliant for walks to sopot along a shaded walkway.Hotel was excellant value, staff very friendly and helpful Love Poland cant wait to return. Nothing except maybe tea and coffeee facillites in room.
Excellent location and easy to find. Staff very pleasant and helpful; they spoke good English. Room excellent. Breakfast excellent: good choice and plenty to eat. Nothing
The staff were very helpful with our daily tourist itinerary and overall incredibly nice. We also loved the delicious daily breakfast. The bathroom had an unpleasant smell occasionally as well as the walls were quite thin and we could hear people's conversations in the adjoining rooms.
Close to the beach and only 20 minutes walk to Sopot. The personel were welcoming and helpful and the rooms and the breakfast were very nice.
Very friendly staff. Wireless internet which works exellent in a room. Rich breakfast. Qiute far from the centre.
