Everything, the location is right in the red light area, Internet was not available as promised, attached bath was not there, as mentioned in my reservation, attempt to walk me away to another hotel, charged extra than mentioned in the booking.com page.
The friendly and helpful staff, the proximity to places of interest to me and transport links, and only a 10-minute walk to the Frankfurt Book Fair.
The room was very basic and still felt like it was a room where people had been smoking in the past - presumably it's difficult to erase that unless you change carpets. I had three sinks in my room, but only one worked. However, the en suite bathroom was adequate with a good shower.
The staff were very helpful and kind. The room we had, with the bathroom ensuite was perfect. The entryway is awful, makes it look like a sleay scary hotel. Don't know what you can do about that except rent space nearby to attach a decent lobby. The Five Squares (Four Squares) on the same block looks much more lovely, with a groundfloor cafe with wifi. It also advertises itself as a hostel. Frankly except for it being Frankfurt Book Fair week, the price was too high for the rest of the time: $180 euros for this is not a good value except during the Book Messe.
See above for my critical comments. The lobby is the size of a bathroom and dirty. The street life which goes until dawn means one has to use earplugs. But despite all this, probably because we had one of the best rooms, our stay in the room was perfect for two single women.
The price was right, it was clean and very convenient to the railway station, the breakfast room on the eighth floor was lovely, and the breakfast was excellent.
The location was a bit unfortunate (at the edge of the red light district). Also, the hotel seems in need of maintenance. There were three washbasins in the room but two didn't work, the elevator did not work on all floors, and the drapes in our room had come away at the top and didn't close.
The location is ok. Near to train station comfortable for tourist.
