Pros: It was very recently updated and renovated. Extremely clean with new paint and carpet. I liked that it was fairly near the freeway. There's also a McDonald's right across the street, so I suppose if you like fast food, that's a plus... Oh there is free coffee... Woohoo... The staff was nice and prompt whenever they were needed.
Cons: So I booked this hotel thinking that it was going to be a pretty good deal. It was about $15 more than the other hotels i was looking at with the same amenities, except this one said it had a pool and hot tub. I figured for the extra, it'd be worth soaking for awhile after a long trip on the road... When I arrived to the hotel around 5PM I saw that on the sign they were offering my same room for $20 less. So I asked once I got to the front desk for the potential lower price and she said that because I had already made my reservation through another party-site, that she couldn't alter my rate.. Fine, I expected to pay a little more anyway. She didn't inform me though, that the hot tub I was so looking forward to, was shut down for maintenance. I found this out when I went to the vending machine to get a cold drink, since the room we were in didn't have a refrigerator, and I heard some other guests mentioning the "cold pool" and "broken hot tub". Grr... Disappointment sets in further. As for the room. I booked the 1 queen room because of the said amenities. It was the most basic hotel rooms I've ever been in. 2 pillows, 2 towels, 1 washcloth, no shampoo, no conditioner, no fridge, no microwave, no writing pens, no free breakfast, basic cable and for awhile I didn't even think there was an alarm clock! I ended up finding it tucked behind a lamp on the desk. I was in Bozeman on business and needed an ironing board and iron. Online it made it seem there were an iron and board in every room, but no... I had to call and get it delivered. The room only came with a standing shower and the poor water pressure and hard-water smell was pretty unpleasant. All around disappointment. For all of the other surrounding hotel options (literally, there are at least 4 others right next to this hotel), this was a poor deal.
