Pros: Service was excellent! The best I have ever experienced. Real 5 star service from the doorman, front desk, restaurant staff, bar tender, housekeeping, etc., all the employees were extremely courteous, helpful, attentive, and professional. Hotel is very nicely and tastefully decorated, lots of artwork and fancy walls, ceilings, etc, and our room was very comfortable. They gave us a free upgrade upon check-in (from a deluxe room to a grand deluxe). Location is perfect - it is right in the middle of town, close to all the attractions, restuarants, and shopping. Yet the inside of the hotel is very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast buffet (included in our room rate) was AMAZING!! Excellent food, lots of choices, and of course excellent service from the staff. I think it would be OK for kids, but it is probably better suited for adults. My wife and I had a wonderful time and I highly recommend this hotel!
Cons: There is a small gym which I would have liked to be bigger with more equipment The grand deluxe room was a good size, but I think the standard rooms are quite small, especially for what U.S. tourists are used to.

Cons: We got there late at night and could not get to the street. The stuff is nice and polite. the hotel was too kitchy for us, the price was very high for the value. The room they gave us was very far and noisy from the motors of the a\c. With this cost you would expect more!

Cons: The hotel is extremely dated, and we were placed in a smoking room, which we didn't even realize still existed. The room smelled disgusting, and we had to keep the window open to circulate the air...and also to cool us down because the heat setting in the room was unbearable and not adjustable.

Cons: Rooms were terribly outdated and dirty with stained carpets that goes half way up the wall... nothing like the lobby. Staff is rude. Would never stay here again.

Pros: The hotel is just north of the station so it is in a very quiet neighborhood but then easy walking distance to the center. The breakfast and air-conditioning were both amazing. The staff was extremely helpful and the taxi to the airport (which they reserved and arrived very quickly) was only 18 euro.

Pros: We were forced to cancel the trip due to Italy quarantine, covid lockdown and all flight to and from Italy being canceled for the period we had the trip. I anticipated this and contacted the property 6 weeks in advance to ask for cancellation (although my booking was not cancellable). The hotel refused to cancel and refund and charged us. Shame they took advantage of this situation in such pitiful way.
Cons: Our trip included multiple bookings, with other chains as well, like Accor, Best Western (this hotel). Accor was kind and updated their policy, canceling the booking. But Best Western refused. They offered us instead 20% discount on a further booking. Very generous!

Pros: The Grand Hotel Elite was a great find. Excellent value and the staff went the extra mile to make sure the stay was perfect. The location is great, as you are only a 25 minute walk from the city center and close to a lot of wonderful restaurants and stores for shopping.
Cons: The only complaint is breakfast. I'm not a fan of cold, runny scrambled eggs. Yet this was standard fare every morning. Definitely not worth the 10 Euros they charge for it.

Pros: Very nice hotel, has everything you need for a city break short stay or weekend getaway. Only 2minutes from the train station and about 15-20mins walk from the heart of the historic centre. The walk itself is fine however as the route takes you past plenty of shops and places to eat. The breakfast was sufficient and varied- plenty to set you up for the day. The room was big and spacious. I would return.
Cons: The shower head and screen were poorly fitted and cramped making for a difficult experience!

Pros: The rooms overlooking the lovely interior garden are lovely to look at, stroll and just to sit and relax in! The proximity to the train station - just across the street is easy, as is is catching the Euro bus which leaves from the train station (centrale) as do all the busses into the lovely center of the city.
Cons: Wish they had a bit more in the way of food at the bar, no restaurant. When you tired from jet lag or early mornings it would be easier and more pleasant to eat a fresh salad for example and sit in the garden with a glass of prosecco - which they do have!
