Great location and a superb hotel in the heart of the city. So many sights to see, without getting the car out again.
hotel personal was extremely helpful
Location Comfort Cleanliness No swimming pool
The location of hotel is just 1 minute from the “Palais de la Papes” and all the main attractions. Moreover it has an entrance directly from the public parking (you have a discount from the official price). The staff was kind and speaks a good English. The room was very quite. The room was not so big. The price is high. Sometimes in the hall there was a bad smell (drain?).
Great location, friendly staff Tiny room, tiny bathroom
Location Smell of sewage
A lovely hotel with nice rooms and very freindly, capable staff. Location was perfect.
Cool spot in a former monastery that made it extremely unique and interesting. My room at on the top floor which is usually a good thing except for the amount of money I was paying, I could not stand up in the shower to shower because the ceiling was there. I literally had to squat down to shower (I'm 5'11), so I'm not very tall. If I were 4 feet tall then it would have been ok. The sink and mirror for the bathroom were exactly the same issue. Could not stand up to see myself in the mirror. Had to be on my knees to look in the mirror. Also, since my room lacked any windows, the only natural light was from the skylights only a view of the sky through those. Horrible experience for the amount of money I paid for a "standard room"
They were helpful when we asked to change our room The air conditioning was noisy
One of the male receptionists at night was very helpful and smart. He can speak fluent English and I was very impressed by his courtesy. We requested about airport transfer vs. taking taxi / Roissy bus and he can clearly tell us the differences and further on recommended the best option which we followed as a result. His professionalism impressed us. One of the more 'senior / elder' female receptionists could not speak as fluent English as some of the younger staff and she was having difficulty understanding my question on whether I can use my metro tickets for RER (e.g. buying an additional ticket to go with the metro or not), and when I further prompted she immediately felt irritated and just told me to ask at the station.
The attempt to create a truly unique atmosphere within th hotel. A truly Italien experience had been created in a French Hotel Situation and everything else was perfect
The apartment was lovely and centrally located in the walled city of Avignon. Due to the strikes in France we had to arrive a day early and were able to access the apartment and be greeted by the owners at 9pm. We had a wonderful stay and the space in the apartment was great after 4 weeks of hotel rooms. Would absolutely recommend staying here.
A clean and comfortable hotel at and very quiet location within easy walking distance to Avignon old town centre, shops and cultural sights.
