Pros: Very clean and modern. Staff gave us free parking and drink vouchers when our room wasn't ready on time. Walking distance to anything important in Athens.
Cons: For the price, there should be a microwave and mini-fridge in the room.
Pros: F&B was great. Local beers on tap! Rusty was awesome. Engaged all of the guests he walked by.

Cons: Two outlets in the room didn't work.
Coffee maker but no coffee in room
Pros: The staff were wonderful, very concerned that wehad an enjoyable stay. We were having car trouble and they were willing to extend our stay for the same rate, same room. Fortunately, we did not have to extend our stay but would have been happy to do so.
Cons: Would have enjoyed an indoor pool. Also the onsite restaurant was closed for lunch on Saturday, but that was the only time we really needed to take advantage of the lovely cafe. This was Thanksgiving weekend and UGA was not at home, so the hotel was very slow. We understand.
Pros: Great room. Dinner in restaurant was delicious!

Pros: Staff -- excellent in every regard
Bedding - maybe the best I have seen in a hotel
Cons: Air Conditioning
Humidity in Room
Pros: The location in Athens is great, and the value for the money is superb. And best of all - this hotel is PET FRIENDLY!
Cons: Parking is a bit cramped when the hotel gets busy (like the 6 wedding weekend we witnessed).
Pros: Customer service, design, layout of property.
Cons: Busload of highschool kids sports team staying beside and above me were quite rowdy, but hotel staff was able to quiet them after about an hour.

Cons: We specifically requested a high floor with a view and were placed on the second floor overlooking the AC units. The hotel was loud at all hours of the night. The bed was uncomfortable despite being "adjustable", which didn't change anything. Also we woke up to charges on our credit card for parking at $10 a night that was not disclosed to us upon reservation nor check in.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and informative. Room service was fast and tasty. Location is great and super convenient to downtown / college campus area.
Cons: Bed pillows were not comfortable and sheets did not have the crisp made bed with perfect edges appearance. Not the most comfortable bed either.
Pros: Hotel was very clean comfortable and nice!
Cons: Breakfast was little cold.
Cons: Service was awful. When I asked for an extra ice bucket, they told us we could get it ourselves at the bar. They then gave us the wrong room and we walked in on a naked woman. Turns out they comped the woman in the room for a free night and didn't even apologize to us. Never again.

Pros: The room size was great, sitting area separate from sleeping area.
The bathe room very big, lots of towels and great water pressure in the shower.
Cons: The sheets had stains on them. The pillows were very very small. The room had a funny smell, they should consider cleaning the vents.
Pros: Jerrod at the front desk was extremely helpful . He went out if his way to make sure things were taken care of. I was having trouble printing boarding passes and he stepped right in and got it done. Great personality!

Pros: It was a place to shower and sleep. Free breakfast.
Cons: Staff was not courteous. They acted annoyed and put off in my interactions with them. The parking lot is way too small for the number of spaces. There is a noisy business next door. They were usually out of coffee. The vending machine only accepted $1 bills and then, eventually, wouldn't even take those. The fitness room is not well equipped. The matress in my room sloped to one side.
Pros: The staff great you with smiles and are more than happy to help make your stay pleasant with suggestions of activities, restaurants and sights to see. An older hotel that is clean and maintained. We feel we got a great value for our money.

Cons: Room smelled of paint. shower nob came off in hand when turned
Cons: i paid $400 for 3 nights to take my girlfriend to athens,ga for her birthday. when we arrived there were 4 busses of school kids in town for an event so for the 1st and 2nd day we had kids running up and down the halls most of the time. we also got a room right by an elevator so we got to hear people getting on and off that all night. every morinng they would start cleaning around 8:30-9am so we couldnt even sleep in. the last morning we were there was a sunday morning and even tho we tried to call the day before to ask for a late check out, they said we had to call the morning of. to me that defeats the purpose of getting a late check out bc you still have to wake up and call. anyways we woke up and called and asked for a late check out only to find out that they had so many new people checking into this hotel on a sunday night that werent allowed to get one, even when we told them it was my girlfriend's birthday. ill NEVER stay at this hotel ever again. this was supposed to be a 3 star hotel and ive stay at hotels that were half the cost and they were alot more quiet and pleasant to stay at than this place. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME
Cons: Bugs all over the place and the guy at the desk was almost unspeakably rude. I'd rather sleep in my car.

Pros: Atmosphere was nice & but I was placed in a handicap room.
Cons: Placed in handicap room
Pros: Spacious room. Newer hotel built in 2009. Staff was very nice and professional.
Cons: There was a large red stain on our carpet in the room. It was a little gross. Other that that the room was very clean.
Pros: Spacious room, nice kitchen area...Staff who checked us in directly was very professional and very helpful.
Cons: While staff who checked us in directly was very professional and very helpful, there were several extra personnel who seemed to be loitering or taking care of personal business behind the check in counter. Inappropriately dressed and unprofessional.
Pros: Checked in quite late; the front desk staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was above average and very clean. Very nice stay for the price we paid.
Pros: I've never stayed at a Candlewood facility prior to this stay. They are set up as an extended stay facility but they handled an overnight quite nicely. Will stay again as it was an excellent value.
Cons: For overnight guest, it's always nice if continental breakfast is available. However, as an extended stay hotel, they are not set up to provide as most guests are cooking their own meals in the rooms full service kitchen.
Pros: I liked the spacious room & kitchen in the room.
Cons: It was spring break & their hotel had no in/ outdoor pool. There were no staff hired to work the night shift. I just did not feel accommodated there in the night and late after midnight hrs.
Pros: Prefer this hotel when ever I visit Athens
Cons: No, liked everything
Pros: The staff was helpful, friendly, and courteous. The facilities were clean, modern, and in working condition. It was a very pleasant experience.
Pros: The room was nice. It had a fridge and microwave which was very convenient.
Cons: The staff was okay. A little complacent, but it could have been worse. Just would have liked a little friendliness to them.
Cons: I saw so many ladybug in the room. I saw it at least 5 of them. And location is not that good too.
Pros: Place to lay my head
Cons: Not very clean.

Cons: I was horrified when i got into bed to find bed bugs. I tooks photos and the front desk came up to my room to confirm them. They put me in a handicap room next to the elevator and that was so noisy I only slept 4 hours. With the bed bugs and then the noisy room, that was the worst stay overnight I have had - and I have travelled to many countries and cities and many hotel rooms. That was my worst experience ever.
Pros: 1 hour late check out allowed
Cons: Carpet smelled like chemicals used to clean up animal waste. I stayed on 2nd floor which is to be no pets. Saw people 2 doors down taking their small dog outside. I saw them coming out of the room on the 2nd floor.
Pros: The hotel is walking distance to downtown Athens and UGA. Clean room, friendly staff, decent breakfast.
Pros: Really close to downtown Athens
Cons: Right across the street from housing projects but there was a security guard in the parking lot all night long
Pros: Lots of parking and close to downtown.
Pros: Location Lication Location
Cons: everything good!
Pros: Our friendly desk clerk, Baranda, was very helpful and found a room for us that would do and honored the rate that was quoted on Booking.com. SHE took care of us and next time I will just call direct when I need a room.
Proximity to UGA was great and the breakfast was fine.
Cons: When we showed up we didn't have a reservation. I had my receipt and booking number from BOOKING.com but they didn't have a room for us. Not sure who dropped what file. I will call the hotel directly from now on.

Cons: Rooms were a bit boring no color ,Charged extra for parking And no word of this till Check-In

Pros: Nice, affordable room. everything seemed pretty clean, Comfy beds and good A/C, quick access to downtown Athens. Super friendly and pleasant staff.
Cons: Their building a new building in front of the old. The old building is definitely dated and there are signs of some odd refurbishments over the years. (light-switch plates cut in half to accommodate new wall etc.)
Pros: Pretty much nothing. This place is gross. I wasn't expecting a 4 star hotel, but wow, I was really disappointed. It did seem like it was partially under reconstruction, but it looked like exterior work. They need to bulldoze the place and build a new one. I've stayed at Best Westerns before, and they were alright, but I'm never taking a chance on one again.
Cons: This place is just gross all around. The room smelled dank and musty.
The neon light above the sink was shorting out, and was like a disco strobe-light when I turned it on. So I wasn't able to use the mirror above the sink.
When I arrived, the bathmat was on the floor in front of the bath, and it was wet, and dirty. I think when they cleaned the room, they forgot to finish the bathroom.
Pros: Great location.
Cons: I was dropped off by my daughter so I didn't have a car for the night. Construction required me to walk about 150 yards down a dark, public street to get to my room.
Pros: Rooms were very clean and crisp. Staff was very friendly and professional.

Pros: Suited our needs for a place to sleep the night we were in town.
Close to restaurants and gas stations.
Cons: Rooms interior was dated.
Pros: Friendly staff. Great location.
Cons: Horrible a/c (too loud). Rusted out fridge. The room was non smoking but smelled strongly of cigarette smoke covered in air freshener. Gross carpet
Pros: Bed and hot shower
Cons: $160 for 1 night

Cons: Where do I start? It was hot and muggy in the lobby. Clerk had friends hanging around watching tv and chatting with him behind the counter. They clearly did not work there. Same thing happened with the female clerk the following morning. She sat there chatting with a friend behind the counter, who, again, was definitely not an employee. No elevator - just stairs. Shower head sprayed water everywhere. Went out the back door at night but got stuck out there. No lights anywhere in the back. Room key wouldn't open the door. Had to use cell phone light to walk around to front. Very scary. Trash strewn everywhere in back "yard." Had to jump over screens that had fallen off windows, bottles, etc. I felt very unsafe there and will never, ever go back. I had to wonder why, if this was a Wyndham hotel, they would allow these things to happen. No responsible management oversight AT ALL! Worst hotel/motel we stayed at our entire 2 week trip throughout the South.
Pros: Staff were very helpful.
Cons: No pillowcases on any of the pillows when I checked in, staff gave them to me. The TV wasn't working and had to have staff help with that...they indicated there were numerous people with the same issues...the cable isn't good there. Room smelled funny...had to air it out. Lobby was old and kinda crummy.
Pros: I liked being able to leave.
Cons: The defining characteristic of our stay was that our room smelled really, really bad. Luckily we were only there to sleep. Every time I would wake up even briefly in the night I was reminded that we were staying in a really foul smelling place. The odor was overpowering. We noticed it immediately when we walked into the room and almost went to request another room but we had things to do and knew we would only be spending a few hours there and that all we would be doing was sleeping.
Pros: Clean bathroom, easy check in, plenty of free parking
Cons: Smoky smell in corridors, uninspiring breakfast, inflexible check out time

Take advantage of the guest laundry facilities and the outdoor barbecue grill. The business center features fax and copy service as well as public computer access. Spacious guest rooms offer refrigerator, microwave and work desk.
Cons: Everything. It was nasty, unclean, dead bugs, stunk and someone had died in the room beside our room awhile back. This was the only room we could get for our evacuation from the hurricane storm Matthew. We did not even stay there & they still charged us.
Pros: The front desk representative was amazing.
Cons: They need to close down never seen a housekeeper I would never recommend not want to attend that hotel and they only give you one towel when is only you your husband and your two kids I would never recommend don't want to attend the hotel not a good hotel
Pros: Nothing. The experience was awful l.
Cons: It was supposed to be a non smoking room. It reaked of smoke. The room was dirty and had awful staff. The owner avoided talking to us to avoid a refund.
Pros: It is close to everything. Free internet.
Cons: Shower didn't work. Room wasn't clean.
Pros: Nothing atll
Cons: It was dirty, lights did not work, room was smoky. I walked back into the lobby within 5 minutes to let them know I would be staying here, and the worker said I needed to talk to the manager that doesn't come in until Sunday to see if I can get my refund
Pros: The beds are comfortable.
Cons: I was not expecting a lot because it was a two star hotel. But the toilet ran all night. I went to report it but no one was in office and the sign indicated no one been there for a while. Called 911 on neighbors due to them fighting and throwing things.
Pros: Being able to book only 1 night if necessary. Location convenient to UGA too.
Cons: The bullet proof glass was a little disconcerting. You could greatly improve the look of the hotel if you updated the tile in the bathroom a little. It was broken and not done very well. Also the heater and exhaust fans didn't work in bathroom.
