Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests overwhelmingly praise the hotel's prime location near San Marco square and the gondolas, making it ideal for exploring Venice. Many also appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the overall cleanliness of the property. However, several reviews mention that the breakfast is disappointing, with poor coffee and limited variety, and some guests find the rooms to be small or outdated. Noise issues and lack of certain amenities are also noted, but the positive aspects, especially the location, stand out.

We came to Venice for 5 nights and got a room that was supposed to be a superior room but it was very small, dark and sad to look at. The bathroom had a curtain and it was mostly uncomfortable to use. The location is great but the hotel needs a good renovation to be fit for hosting tourists. Thanks to Danilo at the front desk we got a better room for the rest of our vacation.

Pros (+) Great location right off Piazzo San Marco & major gondola loading site made for interesting visuals and sounds. We had cool weather so opening windows were nice to have.
Cons (-) Bit noisy but Venice is compact so is somewhat to be expected. Unfortunately the building next door was being renovated and jack hammers were running in the background most of the day.
