The hotel has a homely and welcoming.atmosphere. Although in the center of town, it is quiet. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast room was non-smoking.

Location was excellent straight on to main cobbled street in middle of town and near to tourist information office. Staff were very friendly and excellent terrace bar outside where you could watch the world go by.
There was no lift so my mother struggled as the stairs were steep. Breakfast was not great but relative to cost not that bad really. One tiny soap portion each for 4 days as the only toiletries was not very good.
