Pros: The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean. The shower was warm, and the bathroom was spacious.
Cons: The pool had very limited hours, closing at 9pm. The breakfast food was good, but not a large variety.

Pros: The hotel was very nice, comfortable and clean. The pool area was also very nice and clean. The bed was a little hard, but that was fine for the night.
Cons: For the money, at least breakfast should have been included.
Pros: I liked the amenities options at the front desk.
Cons: The one waiter working the entire bar Monday night was slow and rude. The men working the front desk Thursday morning were too busy flirting to offer to help me with my bags and wheelchair.
The really upsetting part was the layout of the bathroom for accessibility. I am sure it is perfect for some, but it is not for a double below the knee amputee.
For what I was charged I expected more comfort and better service. The Extended Stay America down the road had a more accessible shower for me and was much friendlier last year.

Pros: I was very impressed with the staff and how accommodating they were. Top-of-the-line hospitality as well as convenient bar and restaurant located in the lobby. Close to everything downtown and valet parking!
Cons: Unfortunately I had an issue with being double-charged. Normally this would not be an issue, but for whatever reason the hold on my card kept me from staying at another hotel later in the week which was very inconvenient. Had it not been a holiday weekend this would not have upset me as much as it did.
When you stay at 21c Museum Hotel Lexington, you'll be in a great location, within just a 10-minute walk of Mary Todd Lincoln House and Rupp Arena. Guests can visit the 24-hour fitness center for a workout or grab a bite to eat at Lockbox, which serves breakfast and dinner. Rooms at this upscale hotel get the details right with nice touches like iPod docks, premium bedding, and espresso makers.
Cons: My wife and I were traveling with our 1 yr old daughter for a wedding in Lexington. Our baby got sick that night so instead of trying to get her to sleep in a strange place we decided to pack up and head home. Because we were in such a rush and focused on our child, we left 3 of my wife's shirts hanging in the armoire. We called back to the hotel as soon as we realized this the next morning and were told housekeeping "did not find these items". There is no doubt where we left them. If they could not be found the next day, it's because housekeeping had taken them. It was our mistake for leaving items behind and I'm sure the hotel has a policy relieving them of responsibility for lost items, but I would expect human decency and professionalism to come before 'policy'.
Pros: Pool, managers rception
Cons: We booked online and while we had a confirmation, they didn't show it. Staff called booking agency and got into a heated discussion in front of us. Told them that is not the way they (E.S.) does business, but they'll let us have a room this time. I think they would have put us in the basement if possible. At the managers reception my wife went up at 7:29 and was told that she had one minute to order instead of simply servicing the customer my wife felt like she was imposing. Brakfast the next morning was the same, it ends at 9:30 on weekdays and they were literally taking the tongs from my hands at 9:28. Pool was nice, patrons had left used towels and empty cups and bottles laying around the pool and gym area
Pros: We had a wonderful romantic weekend that could not have had a better atmosphere. Thank you.
Pros: The entire staff was exceptional. A wonderful place to stay.

Cons: The main negative I had was the Internet was incredibly slow even with the "High Speed" password they gave, and the TV kept switching channels automatically no matter what we were watching and would shut itself off. Maybe it was just our room but it was very annoying.

Cons: Short staffed with free breakfast. Needed more employee help. Ran out of dishes etc....
Pros: Allowed early check-in and late checkout. Great location near downtown Lexington.
Pros: Convenient location, numerous food options within walking distance.
Cons: The door closures could be upgraded. During the day, you don't notice how loud the doors slam closed. I awoke several times during the night due to adjacent doors slamming closed.
Pros: Brand new, clean and comfortable. Can't beat that combination.

Pros: We loved staying at Hyatt Place for our weekend away! The rooms were great. Room service was tasty and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again
Cons: Was advertised a single queen bed on the website and when I got to the hotel they only had two queen rooms. We gracile with a small child that sleeps in a pack and play so the room was a bit more crowded than we hoped it would be.
Pros: We enjoyed the hotel in general. There was a simple breakfast every morning (the kind people have come to expect with greasy food and few healthy options). The fitness area was small but clean. Rooms were also clean.
Cons: The pool was completely out of towels one morning. Three separate people went the the front desk and informed them. No success after 30 min... Had to use the small hand towels from the fitness room. One day we left our room at 7:00 AM and returned after 2PM to find that it was exactly the way we left it. Apparently they didn't feel it should be cleaned or provided with fresh towels.
Pros: facilities were great, breakfast was great and so was staff
Cons: the pillows were difficult to sleep on. Possibly the worst pillows ive ever slept on
Pros: Price was excellent
Pros: Close to everything nice breakfast buffet
Cons: Bed was broken on one side and squeaked
Pros: 99% of the time I stay at Hyatt Place. I don't even compare prices of other places. I always have a great experience when I stay there so why mess with perfection!
Cons: I called in the morning an said I would be a late arrival. Was told not a problem had till 7am. Arrived only to be snapped at "they didn't think we were coming so I marked as no show."Woken up the next morning 3x stating we were supposed to check out by 12, 2x by maid then by front desk. Had to get dressed and take receipt to front desk showing we paid for 2 nights. Got to the desk and we're told "not sure why u were awoken we have u down for 2 nights." At this point my head almost popped off! Worst Hyatt stay I have ever had!! I will def start comparing other places after this disaster.
Pros: It's very comfortable and I love the room designs
Cons: Bathroom water pressure was lacking
Hyatt Place Lexington is the first new build and second Hyatt Place hotel in the state of Kentucky. The hotel is located off I-75 and near I-64 in the new Hamburg Pavilion area of Lexington. The hotel's location offers numerous shopping and restaurants.
Pros: The character of this beautiful House was well preserved and the host did a great job with it. It is close to downtown (about 5 blocks) and in a good neighborhood. The food was good and the place was clean. The dining room for breakfast was well appointed
Cons: The home is on a somewhat busy street so ask for a room towards the back of the house if noise bothers you. Not all rooms have en suite bathrooms, so ask.
COMFORTABLE....ANTON WAS A PERFECT HOST...WE WILL STAY THERE AGAIN
The Lyndon House B&B is wonderful! What a score. Anton is great and the breakfast is out of this world. Stay here. You won't be sorry.
Pros: Fabulous place for a fabulous price.
I can't imagine a more authentic Kentucky experience. What a beautiful place
Pros: It was a wonderful Kentucky experience. The staff was wonderful, friendly, and outgoing.
Lyndon House B&B puts you just a 5-minute drive from Mary Todd Lincoln House and Rupp Arena. Guests can visit the outdoor tennis courts for a workout, and free perks include WiFi, self parking, and full breakfast daily between 8 AM and 10 AM. A terrace and a garden are other highlights, and rooms at this Victorian bed & breakfast offer up nice touches like bathrobes and pillowtop beds with Egyptian cotton sheets.
Pros: We had to stay here while our Lexingtonhome was being renovated, and for the price and features of the hotel and room it was acceptable. Really liked having a fridge and freezer and most of the necessity for home cooking, saved us a lot of grocery money.
Cons: Biggest complaint was the strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout our stay, even though we were in a no-smoking room. Overall not very clean, not filthy, but then I do have high standards. Place needs to be renovated.
Pros: Location to Lexington and interstate- The suites are large
Cons: Air unit was noisy and road noise from outside was annoying- rooms facing east have to all have this problem.
Pros: I liked the separate living spaces, with two tvs, a work stations in the bedroom and at the kitchen table. The rooms were exceptionally quiet, we were never even aware if we had neighbors or if anyone else was even staying on the same floor.
Cons: The breakfast was a little cold. Though I imag keeping the eggs warm in those catering tins is hard. The bed, for me, was really too soft and so were the pillows. But those are personal preferences.
Pros: Great location with a variety of restaurants, stores, etc. nearby.
Cons: More room than we needed, but that was my fault.

Pros: Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable.
Pros: overall cleanliness, location, breakfast, pool and the whirlpool.
Cons: the renovation, however it did not interfere with my plans. The mirror was streaky in the bedroom, and there was still a bit of dirt on the bedroom floor. I questioned whether it was swept, where is quality control??
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Under construction
Pros: Definitely deserves a full 3 or higher star rating. Hotel is clean, the staff are nice, and it is in a great location. Not that close to downtown, but a medium to long walk or a very short cab ride.
Cons: One side of the hotel is very loud due to its location to the railroad tracks and road.
Cons: Hotel was very noisey. You could hear the other guests flushing the commode and running the shower. I was awakened several times during the night by this. Other than that it was a good hotel.
Pros: It was clean and had a convenient location.
Cons: We did not have any heat and there must have been a flag pole outside the window because the wind rattled it all night.bwe didn't get any sleep at all.
Visited University. Hotel was conveniently located which is why I would recommend.
Cons: The girl helping check in was not friendly. After leaving the hotel for a bit, she did not even look up when re-entering.
Pros: Very convenient to UK medical center. Very QUIET. Decent hot breakfast.
Cons: No nice restuarants nearby.
The staff tried to help with my computer issue. They couldn't fix it, but I have to say they took the time to really try.
Pros: It was easy to get to and from once I learned which one-way streets to take. And it was close to Starbucks.
Cons: For some reason the internet never worked with my computer. It worked with my tablet, not the laptop. The beds were not very comfortable.
Cons: Limited parking due to a lot of construction vehichles

Pros: We liked everything about our stay, from the comfortable room to the gorgeous pool. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Pros: The location was great, the rooms were comfortable. The staff was accommadating when I called requesting to check in early.
Cons: The room could have been a bit cleaner. I saw floss on the floor between the bathroom and the room which was not from me. It is nice being in the city center but it is also very loud, they do offer ear plugs though. Lots of sirens in the city.
Pros: We found the service to be good. The room was clean and parking was relatively easy.
Cons: I think we lucked out in the timing. We had a very quiet stay, but the room came with ear plugs. Maybe guests should check what events are happening at Rupp Arena before booking.
Pros: The staff was very friendly. I really liked the on site restaurant. The locations was very convenient.
Cons: The bathroom in my room was a little dated and dingy.
Pros: good location, good linens, good on-site restaurant and bar.
Cons: Need more window sound insulation, I had to change rooms after first night due to both traffic and HVAC noise that was so bad that I did not get any sleep. first room smelled like it had been smoked in. Second room was much better for traffic and no HVAC noise. Very noisy door slam sounds down the hallway and generally thin walls, could hear people in room next door sneeze and converse. My last stay at Hyatt in Cambridge, MD was far superior to this property.
Features 366 rooms, including six suites. The Hotel has a seven story glass atrium lobby, Blue Fire Grill, and lobby bar. Additional features include a heated indoor pool, a fitness center and complimentary shuttle to/from the Bluegrass Airport, 10 min. away. Complete business services are available, including fax, copying, packaging and shipping. We are part of Lexington Center complex which includes the Civic Center Shops and Rupp Arena
Pros: We liked the location . It was close to the highway and not far from downtown lexington. There was also an amazing park just down the road.
Cons: The rooms didn't have exhaust fans in the bathroom. The first room we were in was so damp and musty. The second room was better but our beding was still damp.
Pros: Easy to get to and close to the events we needed to attend.
Cons: Room was a bit too small and bed was a lumpy.
Pros: Friendly staff, room was generally of the quality level expected for this chain. Parking is well lit and has security cameras.
Cons: Noisy - you will hear a lot of noise from the rooms on either side of you as well as from the hallway. Also, there is a "gentlemen's club" two doors down (and between the hotel and the highway). It is subtlely named Spearmint Rhino, so you might be able to trick children and the elderly into thinking that it is a wildlife habitat sponsored by the Wrigley gum company. *sarcasm*
Pros: Was a good value for the price. Amenities were just fine for a quick business trip. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean.
Cons: Fitness center was weak point - not even a treadmill, just an ancient elliptical that felt and sounded like it was about to fall apart when I got on. Location was odd - nice wineries and horse farms nearby, but also right next to a "gentleman's" club and two cars got broken into in the parking lot the night I stayed. Not really close to anything except the highway.
Pros: It was a nice stay, nice room.
Cons: Remodeling all day long starting early morning. Very annoying.
Pros: The customer service was excellent.
Cons: Some of the equipment in the fitness center was old and worn.
Pros: This hotel appears to be a newer property. All of the public spaces were neat, clean and very appealing. My room was spacious, clean, the bed was soft and comfortable, the desk area was well designed and it had excellent WiFi.
Cons: The breakfast was disappointing. Definitely not up to the standards of other La Quinta Inn hotels in which I've stayed. Also, the location is on a freeway interchange which was convenient, BUT it was 4+ miles to restaurants and shopping.
Pros: I had never stayed at a La Quinta hotel before and did know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised with their spacious rooms, nice beds, well lit, and very functional rooms for a business traveler! I will definitely stay there again!
Cons: I can not think of any way La Quinta disappointed me! It was a very nice stay!
Pros: The hotel staff was very friendly and helped with all our needs.
Cons: The free breakfast wasn't good at all.
Pros: The staff was very friendly, rooms are extremely nice. Breakfast was good with hot and cold food. out of O.J. but that happens.

Pros: The hotel was top quality and we really enjoyed our stay. It was well located for our purpose and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Love the setting and the staff. The bar area is very nice for socializing. The food is very good too!
Cons: No coffee maker in the room. Phone did not work right. On a positive note, the kitchen gave us a free pot of coffee. Breakfast is advertised as part of the package, but only continental as you had to pay $5 more per person for the breakfast Buffett. This was my second stay and was a little disappointed this time around.
Pros: Indoor out door pool
Cons: Did not like a joining room , or that refrigerators are only available upon request. For three hundred bucks per night I could have done much better.
Pros: beautiful facility; courteous staff
Cons: Internet access should be included in the price of the room; even Days Inn and Super 8 have managed to do it, you'd think Marriott could.

Cons: Front desk staff is just OK. Nice enough, but after staying here once a month I am weary. Waiting to check out in the morning while yet another lengthy personal call takes place, struggling with luggage ( do you need help? That never comes around and actually HELPS). Blank looks when you ask for restaurant recomendations, or God forbid, Directions!!!! I left behind a phone charger 2 stays ago, my bad, but 4 messages to housekeeping never returned. After all this I found out the lost and found box is at the front desk!!! Dumped monthly though. The killer was an important business meeting ( reason for trip!) scheduled at Distilled, front desk assured me they would be open on Monday at Sunday night check in. Guess what? Suddenly closed when I walked in for the meeting. ( a few food choices grabbed from the local convenience store were offered) we used Yelp to find a place to eat. And I have yet to stay in a room that does not have a leaky running sink or noisy running toilet. No overhead lights in rooms, so most are very dim ( you need 4 light sources in a room for it to be well lit, not just 2 bed side table lamps) Small things, but all easy to fix. This could be a great hotel if management would actually RUN it.
Cons: The hotel is creepy and the service is horrendous.
Pros: The staff and the location were great! The mattress was awesome.
Cons: However, the room was very dark. There was lose and broken tile in the bathroom. There was finger print marks from a prior occupant on the door frame of the bathroom....likely a women, it was make up. Not really accommodations worthy of 3 stars. Scalded by shower having to use 2 knobs turning opposite directions in the shower.

Pros: Close proximity to our son's townhouse and the University.
Cons: Tons of homeless/panhandlers. Price was quite a bit higher, but we didn't realize that there was a UK Bball game that night, so I guess it makes sense.
Pros: Rooms were much larger than expected, with an entry suite area with a pull out couch and wet bar before you even entered the bedroom. Location is near major roads, one mile from Country Boy Brewery, and half a mile from a racino.
Cons: Google maps takes you to the closed road behind the hotel, without a way to get to the entrance or parking lot. You have to go out to a main road and take a few lefts across traffic to get there. This happened to us and our Uber driver.
Pros: Spacious suite, comfortable bed
Cons: Smelled like mold, difficult location to get to off of road
Pros: nice & convenient to UK; nice desk folks friday night at check in.
Cons: Saturday morning there was no hot water. The hotel was full of families attending a UK-Merit weekend, where students and families basically registered for the fall. It was a Friday evening and Saturday event that began it's Sat portion at 8am sharp.
You can imagine the grumpy discomfoprt of a hotel full of people who had no hot showers to start the day.
Everyone under stands that mechanical things do break down. The poor desk clerk on sat morning was not prepared for this problem, could only call the maintenance person.
The general manager was conveniently not in until 9am, an hour after all of these disgruntled adn showerless folks were gone to the University program.
The the ownership and management of this property should make a gesture to the customer in the form of a significant discount in this instance.

Pros: We stayed 3 nights- the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was welcoming and had the pack n play in the room before we arrived. All of our showers either changed temperature quickly or were just cold. The card reader on the back door didn't work most of the time which meant we had to walk to the front in very cold temperatures. There was a middle school basketball tournament going on the weekend we were there and we could hear kids running up and down the hall/stairs and bouncing a basketball above us at night (not really the hotel's fault but it was annoying). The breakfast was always very good and the service people were nice.
If it had not been for the overbooking with the basketball teams causing cold showers and the cold weather causing the card reader not to work, it would have been a very nice stay.
Pros: Staff was friendly. Really liked the text messages and ease of checking in and letting them know I had a late flight.
Cons: I booked after being told they had airport shuttle. They do not. So there was an added cost to get to the motel at midnight. Breakfast was really horrible, juice watered down, old and hard bread, not much for choice, so after checkout, I still had to eat. Housekeeping started knocking on my door 4 hours before check out so my relaxing morning before my long day never happened. I was not impressed.

Cons: The room wasn't very clean. The caulk in the tub was dirty, and the carpet was stained.
Cons: Shower water pressure was too weak.
Pros: Room was nice and large tv was new.
Cons: Bed was hard me and my wife hardly got any sleep. Would have slept on the couch but it was worse then the bed.
