Furama City Centre

Excellent location near China Town. We stayed 4 nights on way back from NZ. Fair/cheap taxi price between hotel and airport. Exceptional value for money. Room was spacious with fridge, tv, kettle, free bottled water, plenty of towels, bath robe etc. City view, stunning at night, good air-conditioning, well appointed bathroom. Blackout curtains meant not being woken at 5am with the light - bliss. Swimming pool on the roof was good, and there is a proper laundry so we could wash & dry clothes. The free breakfast was on a grand scale, huge choices, high quality, fresh, excellent coffee & pastries as well. On the first night we realised we were too late to eat in town and the hotel restaurant had stopped serving, but the manager looking after restaurant area said we could help ourselves to the buffet things still available and only accepted a small /reduced normal mean plan charge which was much appreciated! All staff were helpful and friendly and spoke impeccable English. the deal we were on via a booking.com deal seemed to allow us to use a private lounge/ bar area early evening where there were free drinks and snacks for guests - very high quality but this was a lovely time to meet other guests and travellers and chat to staff..we picked up some good tourist advice, so a lovely touch/additional service. We would stay here again.

Location was perfect close to everything in the city like the clubs and restaurants at Clarke Quay, also 5 minute walk to MRT which is a great way to see the city.

The room could have a little cleaner but was pretty clean.
