Hong Kong's famous Ladies' Market and Nathan Road are a 10-minute walk from this hotel in Kowloon's bustling Mongkok area. The Temple Street Night Market, Jade Market, and Yuen Po Street Bird Garden are within 2 km.
Good place to stay in KowloonPros: Nice clean room with a double bed and two single beds for a family of four. Located in a neighborhood with good access to local food and transportation. The metro was within walking distance and also the convenience of the hotel shuttles to different spots within the city.Cons: Not sure if other tourists had similar experience as us. In HK and Macau we felt the locals didn't smile and unable to offer assistance on simple topics and that made our interactions a little distant.
Pros: Star was top notch. Location was great. Overall good value. Cons: The showers (I stayed in two rooms) had a bad musty smell. I wore shower sandals, just in case. Also, the rooms were a bit small, but this is the norm in Hong Kong and didn't bother me; especially with the clever room layout
Good Bang for the Money and Comfort Ok Pros: Price and clean and located next to MTR and provides Handy Phone for free Cons: Nothing much
Second Stay. Did not disappoint. Pros: The location of this hotel cannot be beat for being a 5 minute walk from the Olympic MTR and the free shuttle to the Ladies Market, temple street and the Star ferry every hour is a cost saver. Also note this hotel is the last stop on the K5 free airport shuttle for travellers using the Airport express train to get into Hong Kong. Always taxis available outside
Comfortable and staffs friendlyPros: Staffs were very friendly. Room is a little small but comfortable. Best for couples to stay because the bathroom has no lock and it was class doors and walls.
Best for travelers from outside of Hong Kong. The hotel provides you a phone with hotspot that you can carry around, so you can use the wifi wherever in hk.
Price is right.
The food around is good and cheap.
I would recommend this to others.
Basic 3 star hotelPros: Cost was not as high as some other hotelsCons: Small rooms. Even with upgrade at extra cost.
Pros: Nice place but small. I was lead to believe it was much bigger when I booked the room. A bit misleading.
EhPros: Low costCons: Way too small and not very clean
Good stayPros: The hotel is good, I will stay there when I go back to HK.
it is the distance, the closest MTR is Olympia but it is a loop to HK island so I walked to Prince station. I got lost a few times when I walked back from the Prince station.
Overall, the stay is good. Room is clean and the bed is just perfect. The view is also good.Cons: Good clean room
An ok business hotelPros: We paid for the executive room with breakfasts and access to the executive lounge. The room was ok, though bed a bit hard. Tv was good, a few English channels. The breakfast was fine, all buffet and prepared. The executive lounge is small and functional.Cons: We called up room service to say we lost the tv remote after a room clean. The guy came in and asked my wife to get out of bed to look for it, even though she was in her pyjamas. She felt violated by this guy's aggressive search. We just wanted a new remote.
Pros: Free shuttle provided for three different locations, near the olympic MTR station, once you step outside of dorsett many great food options with 2min walking distance. Cons: The rooms are small
