Pros:The suite was nicer than some apartments I have lived in; spacious doesn't even begin to describe it! The kitchen was large and boasted clean dishes; quality utensils; granite countertops; and featured all new and full sized appliances including an oven, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. The bathroom was gorgeous, with a separate door and fan for the toilet. (Always a good thing when traveling!) The shower had a waterfall head and a wand. The provided toiletries were pleasantly scented and mounted in large bottles to the wall of the shower. The king size bed was much wider than my king at home and was *very* comfortable. The wifi was fast and the signal was strong. Everything was clean and the rooms were well lit. It's tucked back from the main road, which definitely helps with the noise levels. There was very minor sounds of cars passing on the highway but they provided complimentary foam ear plugs and I didn't even need them. There was also an IPod compatible alarm clock/docking station, so you can play your own music or audiobook to help cover up the sound or fill the silence if you choose to. The staff was *very* friendly and even walked me to my room to point out the amenities and answer any questions. There aren't a lot of pointless bells and whistles in the lobby area, which I love since it keeps the cost to stay there down. They offered a coffee bar (fresh ground coffee that smelled amazing), a bottled water station, and a pool table that was available for use until 10:00 pm I think. There was even a small deck off of my living room! I enjoyed sitting on it and reading before getting ready for bed. I wish I could include the photos I took, unfortunately I am unable to. I will say I was so impressed that I immediately posted them to my Facebook page to share the "amazing digs" with my friends. ;) I drive from Wisconsin to Georgia several times a year and will definitely be making a point of staying here again. It was far and away a more pleasant stay than any of the large (and more expensive) chain hotels located nearby.
Cons:I really had to stretch to think of something. The only things I could come up with are 1.) The shower had what appeared to be some minor staining on the floor, but it wasn't enough to make me feel like it hadn't been cleaned. It just looked like they needed to use a more abrasive cleaner to get rid of it. 2.) I wish they had a booklet of local restaurants/food delivery/attractions. I had to hunt for a food delivery service and I have a feeling I paid more than necessary to get my dinner delivered.
