Everything about this hotel was first class. I never stayed in one before because of the price, but Easter Weekend rooms were $100 U.S. per night. The service was world class. If you told them you have an ant farm and need worms they would be at your door in 5 minutes. I had a minor issue with the food from room service so they comped it and added a free Sunday brunch. It wasn't even questioned. Great class of people and as a solo gay traveler I met so many gay men it would be worth twice the price. I will be staying at W hotels whenever possible!
The staff was super sweet and accommodating at every turn. The rooms were really modern and bathrooms exceptionally clean. Also, our king bed was very comfortable! The location was a little ways away from everywhere we wanted to go, however Uber is insanely cheap and we were able to get around with ease.
Clean room and close to Mall. No swimming pool
We stayed here to attend a family wedding in Bogota. The staff were very kind and many spoke very good English which was appreciated. The neighborhood was delightful (Usaquin) and we felt safe here. The rooms were very nicely appointed.
Nicely run business class value hotel. Our suite included kitchen, living room with desk and table for eating in. Makes extended stays more comfortable. Breakfast was included and had plenty of variety including eggs cooked to order. Internet was good most of the time but when groups were in the hotel for meetings, noticed a significant drop off in velocity. Location on busy Autopista Norte is easy to find, but traffic is heavily congested in front of hotel. If you are sensitive to noise, take a room backside. The bed mattress was very hard...so if you like softer beds, this is not the place. Also the bath towels are thin and rough. If I owned this hotel, I would replace the matresses and towels... would give this hotel a full 5 star rating.
All the comforts of home
The whole experience was not good. First day I found the mini bar snacks as if it had little visitors, mice. I was not informed of any tour visit. One of the front desk was not pleasant at all. The last night of my stay there was aa loud party in the room next to me and also when I left I was being charge for many things I did not understand...overall a very bad experience
The rooms Not well maintained. Seems like its best days have passed
Pretty decent hotel. Location isn't the greatest. It's off the highway and if they give you a room that faces the highway (as I had), it's likely that you have to deal with a whole lot of traffic noise, especially on a Friday night.
Not too close to city center but neighborhood very nice and safe
Stayed in one of the junior suites for 1 night. Very comfortable! No complaints.
Confort, breakfast, cleaness of room, friedly staff
The location of the hotel is good. closed to supermarket, a mall and some restaurants I booked a junior suite for two, at a price of 125$ a night plus tax. When I arrived I was told the price is now 135$ and they try to give me a regular room. I told them I have a contract with booking.com. Only after I showed them the copy I got what I paid for. I think they had a copy of it but tried to get more money of me since I was an easy prey tourist. Be ware.
Nice staff, clean big rooms, good room service. Taxis always in front of the hotel. Gym is too small
Clean hotel, safe location, a $4 taxi ride to T zone and Park 93. Excellent value for the money. Water temperature and pressure was highly erratic.
I liked the bathroom, the room was big, the breakfast was ok, And the housekeeping was so good.
The personnel is what makes the difference at Tryp. During my stay, every security guard, every front desk clerck and every person from the cleaning crew made sure that we were enjoying our stay.
Although the the stuff lack proficiency in English, they tried very hard to accommodate -- especially Mr J Guzman who I believed is one of the Manager who taught me to program the tv, so I have more English Channels. He also was considerate enough to change my room from the 8 th floor to 5 th, so the private party on the 10th won't bother me -- A Big Thanks. None
Hotel is in a very safe part of the city, very clean and modern, i love their directv satellite tv. Its way to far from downtown sometimes and hour on the taxi one way, and free breakfast.
Staff was outstanding Air conditioner didn't seem to work. Other than breakfast, service at the restaurant was exceedingly slow.
Very clean and quite accommodating to foreign guests Could hear toilet flushing from above floors draining down inside wall through the night. They would need better sound proofing in wall where pipe passes. Just a slight irritant, not a major issue.
We liked very much. People were very nice and helpfull. The room was great. It did help that we speak the Spanish. We will not hesitate to return.
Very good moderate hotel - especially when you need a quick place to crash after all night flight. Very good business hotel.
Hotel is clean, well kept in a good locaion and the staff is helpful. Beds were very unconfortable, the noise of barking dogs in the neighborhood, the voices of the employees talking laud so early in the morning (6 AM) and the lack of dark drapes in the room made for a very unconfortable and restless stay.
The location was perfect for me and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Very clean, friendly staff, comfortable, great location.
Location is great. Usaquen is a beautiful part of town which is close to many areas. I did not like price variation which we were charged per person rather per room. Some staff were very helpful while others did not have a clue.
