Bogotá hotels in Usaquén

Pros: The design, the gym, and the pool are nice. The breakfast is just outstanding : we are frequent travelers and barely encounter such a diverse and qualitative offer in the morning. In this W, the day starts perfectly !

Cons: The hotel is up north when considering the common touristic attractions of Bogota, but short Uber drives overcome this point.

Pros: Not much about this hotel. I have stayed in many W’s and this is the worst. It is near many restaurants.

Cons: If your gay please note that there are better hotels in better areas of bogota which I will list below. I live in nyc and own a business in Colombia and visit 15+ times a year. I am marrying a Colombian man in July. On this trip I arrived to bogota got the holiday and to also have a hair transplant. I arrived to the hotel a few hours before my boyfriend and when he arrived I went down and kissed him and then led him up to my room. 15 minutes later I get a call saying something to the effect that security has determined I have someone unauthorized in my room just can’t be there until we visit the front desk. (You can imagine the amount of alarms I must have set off with security for them to spend 15 minutes to track down which room I went to). I visit the front desk and am told by a snotty desk man that visitors cost $50 a night unless I come back down and sign them out (as if I’m bringing some prostitute of the street) First I should point out that if I had walked in with a woman, no one would have said anything. I am 10000% positive that if this had been a woman no one would have said a word! I pointed out to the desk man that I had paid for 2 people. He had the stupidity to say I would still be charged and I could remove it later. I think he noticed my tone of voice was becoming harder. At this point I’m furious. He then said on second though he would check and went to click around on his computer. I do not remember what I said and something to the lines of stupid $&&@!?! Hotel but I signed a paper and I walked off. I should have complained to a manager. The security guard at the elevators actually laughed at us when we finally went back up. He saw us kiss when we first entered and I’m positive he caused this mess. I then had surgery and wanted to have a few friends over to see me but did not dare because i would have to go through a mess of registering each guest. I have traveled to over 30 countries and I’ve stayed in 100’s of the best hotels in this world. (Many of them W’s) I’ve been to some of the most dangerous cities in the world and never have I been so angry. I don’t care what the W’s policy is in bogota but me nor my employees will ever set foot in that hotel again! If you want a good hotel the I’ve stayed at the click clack hotel (a boutique) or jw Marriott. Both of which are closer to the best restaurants and party areas and Neither of which have ever harassed me for bringing a guest to my room!!! To top it off when I left I was told I ate a minibar chocolate bar and drank a water by the same front desk man (I did not touch the mini bar). I was not charged but I wanted to strangle him. Whoever manages this W is not well traveled because of this had happened in any other country of the world it would be ridiculous. You have security there to keep bad people out NOT TO HARASS GUESTS! I’m sure the W bogota makes a lot of money and won’t care to lose one customer but I’m never coming back!

Pros: Great decor. Nice pool with jacuzzi. Great location for street markets, trendy bars and restaurants

Cons: The bar was very crowded when we arrive after 9 pm and they were a lot of parties which made it less welcoming for the hotel guests

Pros: The staff was super sweet and accommodating at every turn. The rooms were really modern and bathrooms exceptionally clean. Also, our king bed was very comfortable!

Cons: The location was a little ways away from everywhere we wanted to go, however Uber is insanely cheap and we were able to get around with ease.

Pros: Everything about this hotel was first class. I never stayed in one before because of the price, but Easter Weekend rooms were $100 U.S. per night. The service was world class. If you told them you have an ant farm and need worms they would be at your door in 5 minutes. I had a minor issue with the food from room service so they comped it and added a free Sunday brunch. It wasn't even questioned. Great class of people and as a solo gay traveler I met so many gay men it would be worth twice the price. I will be staying at W hotels whenever possible!

Pros: Comfortable room and noticeably clean. Nevertheless, not a 5-star hotel as it doesn't offer such amenities as bathrobes nor slippers.

Cons: On the second night on the next room there were people working, including sawing, at 11:30 pm. I had to call the front desk to complain about the noise. The restaurant seating capacity is too small for the amount of guests served. The first time I was seated in a separate area only to be abandoned by the waiters, no coffee, no water, no flatware, no condiments, nothing. The second day I did not wait to be seated and took a "reserved" table. I was offered to be seated elsewhere but, again, the waiter never came back. A similarly "reserved" table beside mine was never occupied making me wonder about the truth behind the reservation signs.

Pros: Hotel is clean, well kept in a good locaion and the staff is helpful.

Cons: Beds were very unconfortable, the noise of barking dogs in the neighborhood, the voices of the employees talking laud so early in the morning (6 AM) and the lack of dark drapes in the room made for a very unconfortable and restless stay.

Pros: Property is nice and has a lot of space

Cons: The staff at the front desk and security have no knowledge of how to treat guest!!! Many mistakes were made that made the whole stay a nightmare. If it really would be a 5 star hotel they would train the people for it. Is sad to see such a nice property loosing it. We were given the wrong room at the time of check in, there was an alarm beeping for over 3 hrs in the middle of the night. And on top to make it even better while having breakfast a very rude security guy approaches us with no education whatsoever. They really have to learn!!! I do not recommend the hotel at all!!!!

Pros: Large room. I upgraded to suite to have space and enjoy a bit of luxury on my last day of travel. Worth it! Huge jacuzzi tub. One floor up on the 5th is a spa. Got a massage and did the water jets tour (5 different water immersion experiences). Steam room and sauna too. Spent nearly 4 hours in there :D

Cons: Must check out at desk. Can’t do it via phone, or just walk out like most every hotel in the U.S.A.

Pros: The hotel is clean and new, the breakfast is OK, the personnel are making effort of presentation and making good stuff, however, it might be organic, the quality of the ingredient is not so good.

Cons: The roof terrace is presently under work (as of 21-24/02/2020), the breakfast is nice but food quality could be better. There are also buildings under construction around that could be noisy during work-time days.

Pros: Quiet, mid-range hotel with everything you need for a visit to Bogota. Great breakfast. Staff are lovely and several speak some English. Great location for local bars, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Local markets on the weekend are about 10 minutes walk.

Cons: We were put in a room on the third floor. (303)Directly below us was a smoking terrace. The smoke entered our room at night. There were people singing and smoking until 2:30am. It was hard to sleep.

Pros: Internet connection was excellent the first five days but then it declined cosiderably to a snail's pace. That was frustrating. The rooms were ultra clean and very quiet and peaceful, generally.

Pros: I definitely recommend the hotel. The hotel is located in a nice area and walking distance from many local restaurants, banks, farmacies and very close to 2 mayor shopping malls. The Studio room/suite is very spacious. The hotel is one of the few with air conditioning in Bogota, although a/c is mostly not needed because Bogota is cold. However this helps keep a quiet environment in the room. WiFi is fast and stable in room and throughout the hotel. Breakfast was in a Continental style at the hotel restaurant located in the 1st floor. The staff was very respectful and courteous.

Cons: Business Center has super slow computer. It took about 45 minutos to print 3 documents. Skip it and just ask the staff to print the boarding passes/any other documents.

Pros: Room, location personnel perfect!!! No remark. Had a great time.

Cons: Simple breakfast for this kind of hotel. Comparing to the concurrence. But still very good.

Pros: * Staff was very friendly, helpful, generous, open to special requests. Not knowing English was never a problem, they always find a way. * Room was quiet, beds were very comfortable and soft. * VERY clean * The surrounding area is very safe with many restaurants and shops, good for walking around with no worries. * Breakfast is customizable (different egg dishes etc), many juices, fruits, sufficiently diverse selection.

Cons: *There are two elevators and always both of them would come at once which was somewhat irrational. *We were given only one card for the room.

Pros: the hotel is located far away from where I expected.

Cons: One of the things that I liked when I saw the hotel is that there was the place I was looking for but it turns out that it is 25 minutes away by car.I would like them to place the location correctly and not to confuse tourist.
