The H10 Catalunya Plaza is a 19th-century hotel that has been completely renovated in January 2013 by the prestigious interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán, turning it into a Boutique Hotel. The hotel is located in the center of Barcelona on Plaça Catalunya, one block from Las Ramblas, a bustling boulevard of shops, restaurants, and street performers, and featuring two large markets, the Erotica Museum, and pavement art by surrealist artist Joan Miro. The Gothic Quarter is a half-mile (1 kilometer) away and Barcelona El Prat Airport is 8 miles (13 kilometers) away.
The H10 Catalunya Plaza's lobby offers newspapers and wireless Internet access. The 1892 Restaurant is located in one of the grandest rooms of this former private house, with original decorative ceiling. In the evening, guests can unwind in the Lounge Bar. Up to 30 delegates can be accommodated in the Gaudi meeting room, which offers professional audio-visual conferencing equipment, banquet facilities and views over Plaça Catalunya. The front desk staff can provide room service. Parking is available offsite for a surcharge.
The 46 modern guestrooms at H10 Catalunya Plaza feature simple decor with light wood floors and furnishings and down bedspreads. All include air conditioning, 32-inch flat-screen digital TVs, direct-dial phones, Nespresso coffee maker with 2 free capsules per adult, iPod dock with radio and alarm clock, and minibars with free bottled water. Fully equipped bathrooms come with a hairdryer, magnifying mirror, bathrobe, sleepers and H10 amenities. Wireless Internet access is complimentary and in-room safes are available for a surcharge.
