Atlantic City hotels in Boardwalk & Beach Area

Cons: The building is very old and needs updating. The furnishings in our room were cheap quality, chipped and scratched. The noise level on our floor was very loud and disruptive. The check in staff was great, very friendly but overall i wasn’t impressed. Everywhere we went there were multiple staff members lounging in hallways and guest common areas carrying on private conversations very loudly in front of guest. Also - parking here is a nightmare.

Cons: Room wasn't cleaned, housekeeping put the do not disturb sign on my door and didn't clean the room.

Cons: The room could have been better, bathroom was old and run down. Bed was hard as a rock.

Cons: The bathroom in our room only had a very small shower stall.

Cons: The room decor seemed a little dated, but that was the least of my worry. There was a mouse in our room (not that a mouse would hurt anything, we just didn't want it to get into our suitcases and food) and the front desk was more than willing to switch our rooms. Not that I was worried about it, but I figured there may have been a little compensation, but we can't control nature.

Cons: They hit me with a fee for checking out on time...

Cons: Small gaming floor, because there where limited tables open the tables where crowded. How can you play roulette with people on top of you. At 9pm I think that more than four roulette tables should be open, we walked around for an hour or two until there was room. I was going to leave....

Cons: First room I was given was very dated

Cons: Their was red stuff ( blood ) on one of the bathroom walls & shower curtain. We called down to house keeping, and no one came up. We left a note on the bathroom sink and they still did not clean it off. When we went for dinner I stopped at the front desk and asked them if they could have someone take care of it. When we got back they had finally cleaned it. They took off the shower curtain off and did not put a different one up. I called housekeeping and they did not bring up a clean curtain. We still did not have one up when we left. The bathrooms were out dated. No counter for my wife it do her makeup.

Cons: Room not stocked, lamp broken, both room card keys disabled requiring trip to desk and charges for pool and parking. For a relatively expensive "resort" I was very disappointed in the rooms and particularly with the service.

Cons: No promotions or comps that would make me stay here instead of another hotel

Cons: Was screwed out of the King size room in the ocean tower that I chose specifically to be near friends in that tower in a king bed. Was given a queen bed in the Rendevous tower, far from our friends. Our bed was only a queen. For $53 PLUS the $20 in taxes PLUS the $10 resort fee- I feel ripped off. Don't let people book rooms if the hotel doesn't have them available!

Cons: Requested rooms together, they said it would be a problem...they did not keep that promise.

Cons: Old, worn-down rooms and bathrooms. Bath instead of shower. More expensive than the one next door (Taj) which is a much nicer room, floor-to-ceiling windows, modern, updated and cheaper.

Cons: Renovations. Resort is old and dated. But they’re charging top-dollar

Cons: Not as many gaming tables and slots as the other hotel casinos. The fast food did not settle well either time we tried it (pizza place and soup place. BOOKED A KING SUITE AND WAS GIVEN A QUEEN WALL BED. Same price as all the others, but less for your money.

Cons: The entire hotel to include the non smoking floor smells like Cigarettes

Cons: I don't like the Parkin garage. N checking area is confusing. Not a lot of food options in the casino but not bad.

Cons: The bathroom was outdated. Bathroom floor blue tiles and shower curtain were dirty. Carpet floor looked dirty. 2 dusty closets I WAS DISAPPOINTED

Cons: Rooms were very dated and the overall hotel part of Resorts looked very old! I'm also still surprised that there are still hotels which don't offer a free Wifi, because these days even small motels offer it!

Cons: Check in is late. We requested an early check in because our daughter needs to nap after going on the beach and before our 6:oo dinner reservation . Also a sign that there is a food court would be good to put in the lobby. Did not realize it was there.

Cons: The tub was backed and I had to call maintenance in order to drain it, which was inconvenient since it was 11pm at night.

Cons: Half of the bathroom lights didn't work, including those above the toilet and shower.

Cons: If you are looking for a quiet hotel to go to bed early and not hear anyone outside your room then this probably isn't your place. But if you are looking to go experience AC nightlife and go back to your room late and not pay a lot of money then this is your spot

Cons: Issue with booking my room. I booked about 4 weeks in advance, received multiple confirmation numbers but when I went to check in, their system said I had no booked room. Still was able to stay as they had openings but if they didnt, I would have had to find last minute lodging. Hotel's outward appearance is not a reflection of it's interior. Was never able to connect to hotels free wi-fi.

Cons: Parking. ..if you leave its not a definite you will have a parking when you get back.

Cons: The only thing was the honking of the cars in the late nights hard to fall asleep.

Cons: Although I didn't have a problem parking, parking is scarce and I could see it being a problem if you check in to late

Cons: Cleaning staff was lazy & the breakfast was pretty cheap.

Cons: The beeping of taxis really takes this from an excellent to below excellent hotel.

Cons: There were little details that needed to be gone over; like the cigarette butt in the elevator and receipt from a previous guest. The phone didn't work, it was very crackly and I wasn't understood when I tried to make a call to a cab company. I told the front desk to put me on a "do not clean" list because ot was too windy for the "Do Not Disturb" hanger to stay on my door, but they never passed the message and I got woken up by housekeeping. The breakfast was good my first 2 days, but ib the last one it was missing the waffkw makers and sasuage and eggs leaving guests with only sugary, starchy food and some fruit for breakfast with no protein.

Cons: MY ROOM WASN'T READY WHEN IO ARRIVED I ARRIVED A HOUR LATE MY ROOM SHOULD OF BEEN READY THAT'S THE ONLY PART I DISLIKED

Cons: The guest policy. If you wanted to have a friend in your room for any part of your stay, even just to hang out for a small period of time, you had to pay for them. Parking lot was small. I did not park here (parked at the Tropicana), but it looked like you would get parked in in certain spots.

Cons: - The WiFi was not working and after calling and complaining at first they said there was no problem with it and then they said they were working on fixing the issue. After they said it was fixed we couldn't connect to the internet half the time with a dial-up speed, - The room service staff didn't fix our bed and they didn't leave enough towel, and when we called the reception they said we need to go to the front desk to pick up more towels. - When we arrived cars were blocking the inside row of the parking spots and the reception worker had insisted on charging us $30 for the 3 nights in advance, the next day there were available spots and cars had parked in the inside row. Big rip-of .

Cons: The room was in poor condition. The walls were paper thin. There were people up till around 5am blasting music in both adjacent rooms. Barely got any sleep. I would never recommend this place to anyone or ever stay there again.

Cons: Upon arrival, we asked how many cars we would be able to park. They only allowed us one (the site didn't mention this). We asked if we could pay for more spots and were told no. One night we called the front desk to ask the manager if we would be able to pay for extra parking for 1 car. The manager said yes and told us $10. My friend went to the front desk to pay. When she got there he immediately changed his answer and told her she could not park. She called me down hoping since the room was in my name, I would be able to pay for the car. When I got down there I asked if I would be able to purchase the extra spot. The guy rudely said I could but not my friend. I said ok. I asked why there was an issue with my friend getting it and he said "only for you. not her." I agreed and said ok. My friend simply asked the man if the phone lines were recorded because she was very polite on the phone and did not understand the change in attitude. The man then began to raise his voice and yell at us telling us to leave and that we could not have it. I politely tried to resolve the issue and ask what the issue was since I was the one purchasing it and the room was in my name. He told us to leave and that we could not have the spot. I told him I was very displeased with the service and that I would be writing a review and he told me he did not care. That my opinion did not matter The whole time we were there, there were less than 5 cars. The rooms were nice but the balconies were dirty and crooked. Dirty towels too!

Cons: terrible service, parking, unclean room, wifi did not work and the tv barely worked, no dresser, falling apart and unclean towels and sheets, no safe in the room and the area, population, and staff are sketchy. Was fine for two days but if you plan on staying longer, go somewhere else. Location is the only positive comment I can leave.

Cons: I didn't like carpet it seem super dirty. The whole complex in and out needs a remodel soon. We over paid that's for sure.

Cons: Very basic. Definitely worth it if the purpose of the stay is to explore the surroundings. It will not give you a hotel experience

Cons: didnt feel very safe had a late check in and front desk guy was sleeping with a bat next to him.The bed sheets had like black dots on them scared it was bedbugs but didnt wake up with bites and the shower the water dripped all night leaving a rusty drain and rusty wall under faucet. Didnt like how when we got to our floor the bed were right next to window knowing the guy was sleeping.

Cons: Carpet was stained, tv and remote didn’t work, looked very shabby and unkept, no decaf coffee. Was not enough toiletries for the amount of guests in the room, not enough towels either. Will pay more next time to stay somewhere else

Cons: Dirty, the bathroom had hairballs in it, room was dingy and dark, no blankets just a bed spread that was probably never washed, loud basically crack motel.

Cons: The room wasn't maintained well. Holes in the wall, burn marks in the bathroom and on the quilt. The TV was way outdated. Communication between staff is poor. The "orange juice" wasn't juice. Too far from major attractions. $10 charge for parking on their property.

Cons: A lot of characters hanging around not a good look at all .. My first time there so I don't if it's like that all the time .. And they charge for parking .. Which I think the was front deck guy come up money .. Pulling that stunt all night and if you move your car you may have to park a block away if your parking space gets taken .. Smh

Cons: There was people nocking at our door at night and morning Our next door neighbors were rob They stolid there car and stuff of the room and there were no damage to the door

Cons: They used wayyy too much bleach to clean the room had to air it out. Dont be fooled by "balcony" room or "continental breakfast". Stayed on 3rd floor and pretty sure we were the only occupants on that floor. Wifi sucks. But for $80 for the night it wasnt bad

Cons: The parking- not enough. We paid the hotel accross the street to park the car so that it was only about 1/2 block to carry our bags.

Cons: There was no parking. Desk guy moved his car and demanded 10 dollars cash! Holes in the wall, shower was beyond gross, dirt everywhere, big cracks around door so the wind just blows in, the bathroom had peeling fixtures, and even the steps and outdoor walkway were sticky with something gross. I only paid 80 bucks but I might as well slept under the boardwalk.
