The pool and surrounding area. The staff were appalling, the check in took forever and they kept requesting a "voucher " I tried to explain many times that I booked via kayak mobile app so I don't have a "voucher " the reluctantly / eventually accepted the booking reference number. Their cyber long want won't and once again the front deck were very unhelpful when I was trying to do my airline online check in, this time the staff a front desk were down right rude. Then the bar staff didn't have a word of English and were again rude. Wifi service was practically none existent. The nicest people in this whole hotel was the engineer who arrived at our room to repair the wifi connection. Booked a room with side see view, ended up in a first floor corner room over looking the terrace, I suppose if if stretched out over the balcony using binoculars I might have caught a small glimpse of the sea. Having been staying up the road in the sofitel , I can confirm that the Royal Atlas is far from being a five star. More like a three star.
The hotel's proximity to the beach. Pretty much everything about the hotel was very disappointing. Our room (room 534) smelled like urine during the whole stay, the room conditions were dreadful (old rugs, worn-out blankets, broken fixtures...etc.), we didn't have any hot water in rooms 534 (the first day) and 322 (the third day), room 322 totally lost tv and phone signals on day 3 (we had to call the reception 4 times to get it fixed), the line for breakfast was always very disorganized. The building is old and doesn't have any elevators, which can be a big problem if your room is on the 2nd or 3rd floor. The rooms are way over-priced considering the quality of service. This hotel is definitely not a 4-star hotel... Honestly, I wouldn't even give it a 3!!
the facilities were good the room could be updated
good location,nice staff no
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Close to the beach and enough pubs, restaurants etcetra in the area. This Hotel is from the 60's or 70's so everything is really old, on the pictures it seems more modern.. :-(
The outside area & pool Not too keen on some reception staff a bit too pushy
Location buffet breakfast very early (5.30-10.00) and not very fresh, basic room
Room was quite big and very clean. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Much cheaper than a lot of other hotels in the area.
location We checked out on a Sunday and they couldn't take a credit card payment so we had to find a money machine and take out cash to pay our room.
Location was fantastic.Staff frendly.Bedroom was clean. Bathroom very old and not cleaned properly.
Big room. much better privacy even compared with those 4star hotels. good location. value for money. close to restarants. not far from the beaches. Like all hotels in morroco, wifi is available in the ground floor.
Very basic rooms, which is what you would expect for the money. However, they were clean and functional and the hotel staff helped us immediately with any problems we had with the room. Omelettes at breakfast were lovely and the restaurant and bar staff were very friendly and helpful as was the concierge service.
The staff is Findley's, the hotel is at a great place , near by the beach. Breakfast is good.Animation for children is nice too. Its good family hotel. The breakfast closed-time is too early 10AM. Hotel bar is closed at 11.30PM , is even early. To much cats in hotel garden.
I prefer this hotel because it situated near ocean and have low rate. Personal of the hotel is not so good. They looking for all my moves. Breakfast is poor. Juice from powder.
Hotel was close to the tourist strip and restaurants and beach. pool area can become very crowded
Location was very good. The hotel had a lovely view to the beach. The pool looked great (although we didn't swim). Was a little noisy, as our room was near a public thoroughfare.
