Pros: The staff was very attentive and welcoming. The layout of the resort was great. You didn't have to walk forever to get to the beach or to the restaurants and neighboring resorts were close by enough that you could walk to their restaurants.
Cons: No extended checkout and no heads up on the state of T and C airport which was a mess.

Excellent 8.6
Pros: The room has everything for you. Small kitchen , patio and even washer and dryer.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: My brother got married on a nearby all inclusive megaplex. That's a) not our style and b) not our budget. The Sands is very comfortable, very friendly, very professional, and down right lovely. My brother said his resort was too much like Disneyland. A 5 minute bike ride to nearby shopping area, we got simple groceries each day, and patronized local businesses. Make sure your trip includes a Thursday pm so you can go to the Fish Fry and hang with the locals. Highly highly highly recommend the conch chowder and pork stew (2 different things) at nearby grocery. Bikes were great! Rode all over the place.
Cons: The resort was fantastic. We loved picking staff for local places to go. TCI, in general, food is expensive (alas we still saved baucoup $$ on this resort). Saw some nasty American tourists. Don't be like them. You're on vacay. Relax for God's sakes.
Okay 5.7
Pros: The beach is amazing!
Cons: This was my wife and I first trip to Turks & Caicos. We will return because the beaches are beautiful but we will choose another resort. The day we arrived it was 4:30pm, local time, and we had made reservations for an Ocean View Suite. The room that was given to us at first was not an Ocean View it was a Garden View. Then the front desk told us they would put us in another room but it would not be ready for a while. When I asked how long, they could not give me any idea on the time frame. So, we had a late lunch at Hemingway’s the resort restaurant. The food okay but their service was horrible. A hour and a half had past and we went back to the front desk to check and see if our room was ready. The front desk could not provide me any answers. The front desk staff was extremely unorganized. The staff had misplaced our paperwork for the room in the hour and a half that we were having lunch and waiting for our room. After 30 minutes of two front desk staff members frantically working to check in additional guest and find our paperwork we finally head to the room. Atthis point it approximately 3 and half hours later. Prior to leaving the front desk my wife ask “does the building have an elevator?” The staff tells us “yes”. Once we arrived at the building where our room is located we learned from the bell man that the elevator is out of order. My wife is still recovering from a broken knee cap and our room is on the 3rd floor. The bell man told us the elevator was supposed to repaired the following day. Well it was not and I had go and speak to the manager the following morning. The manager went to speak to the maintenance team. Here is where the story hits a all time shocker for me!! When the manager returns she walks two feet in front of me and straight into her office and closes the door. She never acknowledged me. The front desk staff went into her office and asked the details. When the front desk clerk returned I was told it would be repaired on Saturday, it is Wednesday morning. Then I am offered another room (this our 3rd room in three days). I take it because it is on the ground floor but no ocean view. This one is a garden view. Then my wife is stuck in the half bathroom because the door handle is broke. She was in there for 10 minutes plus. I mentioned this to management and asked for the difference returned to my card due to the inconvenience and the non-ocean view, that we paid to have. Later that day after housekeeping cleaned our room I found a gift certificate for breakfast for 2 at the resort restaurant. This was an insult. I will end on this the evening staff at the restaurant and the front desk was much friendlier than the day. The bell man we had was awesome as well. It is a shame, this place could be great. The beach is amazing. The Resort needs some attention and the some of the staff needs learn hospitality skills.
Excellent 8.6
Pros: Quiet w/variety of age groups. Beautiful beach. Great water. Conch dive was fun. Nor as expensive as I thought it was gonna be. Are out for dinner in at other meals.
Cons: Snorkel is far better at Cozumel. At least where they took us. Beach and pool service not great if you are wanting to drink a lot. Plenty if chairs. Umbrellas. Chk your bill one girl at the restaraunt tried to dbl. chrg us. I had a feeling as there was a mess up and they fixed it without probl. The guys were better and more friendly than the women.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We stayed here prior to our wedding in T&C and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Upon knowing that we were getting married they sent a bottle of champagne to our room and did everything they could to make sure that we enjoyed ourselves.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: We received a free upgrade to a one bedroom right next to the pool. Hemingways restaurant was also great. Delicious fish and chips. The beach was awesome and never too crowded. We could always find a hut and chairs.
Okay 5.7
Pros: The beach
Cons: There were a lot of cockaroches in the hotel room ! And you can hear people from the room next to you very clearly
Excellent 8.6
Pros: Water Sports Equipment included in the cost of the room. Our room had a sitting area, kitchenette which were excellent bonuses. Pool steps from our door. Plenty of shade to ovoid long periods in direct sunlight.
Cons: If I mentioned anything, it would only be picky. Nothing to not like.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location, location, location.... it is situated on a relatively quiet section of gorgeous Grace Bay Beach. Since there is not a developed property on either side of the resort it doesn't feel crowded and it feels isolated in a good way. The palapas and beach staff are wonderful. The hobie cats and water boards are included and easily accessible. Our studio had a small kitchenette, which was nice. The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. Our second floor room had a view of the ocean, which was beautiful. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and very helpful. Hemingways restaurant was very convenient as it was right on the edge of the beach. You could sit in the sun on the deck or under a covered area. The food was always delicious so we had breakfast daily and even ordered lunch on the beach. There were two weddings over the weekend but the guests never took over the resort. The pool closest to the beach was lovely and a nice spot to sit at the end of the day. Overall, we thought it was terrific and had a lovely visit. We would definitely recommend it to friends and would come again with our children on another visit. Great spot for a couple to get away.

Pros: I was a bit skeptical at first as I thought this place might be too good to be true, but I am so beyond happy that we decided to stay at One On Marlin during our trip to Turks and Caicos. Even prior to our arrival, we received a call from Chris, the Butelier, offering shuttle service from the airport. We had already rented a car (definitely recommend it!) and so he promptly sent over directions to the hotel instead. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted and offered a drink. We were then shown the room which was everything we could have hoped for with a kitchenette, full bathroom and TONS of storage. Each day we would come home to fresh towels for showering and for the beach. The rooms also come with a cooler and chairs for the beach. There is a light breakfast served each morning with a member of the staff present to help you select your activities for the day or to offer advice on restaurants/places to visit. Every place Chris recommended we visit was excellent! We cannot wait to return to One On Marlin for our next visit. We would highly recommend!
Cons: Random but the door to the bathroom was only effective in hiding the person using the bathroom from your eyes, not your ears.

Pros: Food was excellent- never had a bad meal. Great beach with good lounge chair available. Staff was excellent Provides dinner on the beach if you prefer They make great exotic drinks Room cleaned every day early or later if requested
Cons: Studio room was smaller than expected for the money Needed more entertainment for the evenings on property Taxi service was expensive- charged by the person
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Wesley (who works at the restaurant and is the sailing instructor) and Tina (the security guard ) and others really went out of their way to make sure anything I needed was provided and that my stay there was excellent. The staff is amazing!
Mediocre 2.8
Cons: Worst service, we paid extra for beachfront room and was not given, went to front desk spoke to Jennifer answer given was they are sold out, she has no customer service skill and absolutely rude. They did not solve our issues and room smells like sewage spoke to Ramona about smell she said she will take care of it but when we got to room in the evening nothing was done. There were few staff members who went above and beyond. Same food served everyday, which is disappointing for all inclusive. Will not stay there again. Turks and Caicos Islands is absolutely gorgeous, will go there agin but will stay at different hotel.
Good 6.2
Pros: Beautiful pool area, beautiful beach and water. Close to town for biking.
Cons: Too many people valentines weekend and too many children. We had to leave on Wednesday and noticed all the familys and children left too and we might have enjoyed more adult time and not as many umbrellas on the beach after Wednesday if we had been able to stay the whole week.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Mango reef that is on the resort had great food. The stay was awesome for our anniversary and honeymoon.

Pros: Beautiful location...friendly and helpful staff....great entertainment!
Good 7.6
Pros: the vast number of different things to do for the children such as water slides for the kids, xbox, drop off camp, ice cream/ cotton candy, arts and crafts, ping pong tables etc... the food was better than i expected at an all inclusive. 16 different restaurants to choose from, from beach side to restaurant setting. Unlimited drinks were very nice. i was very pleased with the whole place.
Cons: I was a bit disappointed with my rooms. When first arrived they said Kayak (where i booked) did not let them know i booked a luxury king walkout and instead put me in a room that was two double beds. I had to show proof and was then put into the correct room the next night. the beds were hard as a rock -that needs to be changed. Pillows were too soft, i found a roach in my room and my room was so humid cus my a/c wasnt working. housekeeping was quick to fix my a/c and sprayed my room with bug spray. because its access to the outside, there were many mosquitos which kept me awake most of the night.

Pros: I liked the location of the hotel in regards to the beach. The section of the beach closest to the hotel was very private.
Cons: 1. Only 10% of the TV channels worked. 2. There wasn't any dish soap/sponge provided. 3. The dishes were in the clean drawer yet they still had old food on them. 4. Upon first arrival into the room the sheets had large stains on them. 5. There was minimal staff to attend to guests. There is only one person at the reception desk at all times. 6. The reception desk was difficult to find, there should be larger signs as well as more signage directing guests. 7. Laundry detergent and fabric softener was not provided 8. The only way to contact receptionist for anything was to walk down a few flights of steps and goto the reception office. 9. There is no elevator on the property. I was lucky to have minimal luggage. 10. The shower was extremely hot even after turning the knob down to cold.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This property was located in a quiet and safe neighborhood close to nearby attractions. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a tour of the property and nearby places to eat. The beach is within walking distance including a well known snorkel spot- smiths reef. I would recommend renting a car while staying here, although there are many things in walking distance and most tours will pick you up from here, it was nice to have to get around and explore on your own. The value of staying in the condo was worthwhile- it was clean and comfortable. I liked the ability to cook food and wash laundry. Parking and wifi were free. Beach towels were provided. This particular property is located at the top with stunning views. The stretches of beach are easily walkable. We were able to walk from our part of the beach to one end of grace bay but we have an active and fit lifestyle. highly recommended for family and friends. Would definitely consider staying again.

Pros: Great value. Nice view of the Marina. Car rental next door, recommended as beach and shopping area a 10 min drive. Still comes out half the cost of the Grace Bay resorts. Just drve to the beach access parking area and plop down on the beach next to the folks paying more than twice the price. The Turtle Cove Inn is budget, but comfortable. Walking distance to many Turtle Cove restaurants which are all very good.Folks take taxis from the Grace Bay resorts to eat here. Do take the time to drive down to Long Bay beach. No signs but look for kite surfers near the Shore Club development, park and walk down to a beautiful secluded beach.
Cons: Nothing to do with the hotel, just be prepared, food is very expensive in TCI. Everything is imported. I went to the IGA and got stuff to eat in the room. There is a small fridge. And if you get a take out meal it will stay warm in the car for hours if you park in the sun with the windows shut.

Pros: Arrived late afternoon on a recent Saturday. Directions were a little difficult even with a GPS because of its location. The road leading to the place was in disarray but I'm not complaining about that. Once I arrived, there were 2 large dogs barking and no one near to get information. My wife wondered around and knocked on another adjacent apartment. The renter came out startled after a few minutes and walked us towards our unit. He looked around and found the key. He mentioned he was also a tenant and was helpful and kind. Inside we turned on the fans, since it was the only source of ventilation. Came across 3 giant roaches during the length of my stay, which was 1 night. I'm not picky at all but the things you see in the pictures such as Jacuzzi and pool, were inoperable. The pool was dirty and my daughter forced me to clean it so we could get in for a few minutes, which I did. We didn't really stayed in the unit since we wondered the island. The next day at checkout my credit card had a late penalty fee of $90 pending. I have an email confirmation with kayak of check out being at 1pm. Yet they're trying to charge me $45 per hour for a supposed check out time of 11am. That's been my experience with this booking. I never saw another human in the premises at all, yet they're claiming they tried to reach me. I'm currently emailing my credit card company and kayak to resolve the matter. Save yourselves, go somewhere else.
Cons: Cleanliness, location, amenities, fictitious charges.
