Fully fitted bedroom ,even having coat hooks and proper storage.The windows are now improved with additional blackout blinds. Bathroom less impractical than usual designer hotel- proper deep basin with plug,useful towel rail and shelf space.The shower was controllable- in any case,the room was too small for a bath. The bar/ breakfast room ambience was excellent,with an eager host speaking perfect English.GOOD tea and othe drinks constantly available.Excellent breakfast .

Pros: This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was very modern and clean. The room we originally booked wasn’t available by the time we arrived, but the front desk went out of their way to make sure we still had nice rooms and comped our drinks that evening. We had had a terrible day traveling and they made us feel so welcome. We ate at the restaurant not expecting too much, but were so impressed with the food and healthy food that we decided to eat there again the following evening. Plus, the hotel had air conditioning, which isn’t always the case in Europe. I would stay here again without a doubt.

Cons: The noise of trains passing by for some sensitive people can be disturbing and the shower/toilet doors do not have a lock. You can hear also announcements about the next train leaving / arriving.

Cons: The hotel is surrounded by construction works, railway, and tram. I had room no. 201 which is just 10 meters from the railway. Upon check-in, we were asked to pay a deposit. I have no problem paying this deposit, but this should be mentioned on booking.com. The room was dirty with dirty walls filled with dust above the door entrance, the wallpaper disbonded.

Cons: It was almost perfect stay, but if you have a car, then you have to pay extra, but the parking is in garage (the safe place). We didn't take the breakfast as it was too expensive compare to my hotel experiences in the past.

Cons: Terrible and rude staff. Upon arrival we found that the hotel did not suit our needs and asked to shorten the stay from two to one night. The receptionist said this would be OK. After booking a new hotel for the next night, we wanted to check out in the morning and were told by another receptionist that shortening the stay was not possible. She didn't care that her colleague had provided us with opposite information that we relied upon and refused a refund. She clearly didn't care. This is an appalling behavior by a hotel belonging to a major chain. Avoid at all costs. (apart from this, the hotel was not recommendable either. Cheaply furnished, noisy, small rooms. Basically motel/ibis standard and not worth the price, especially given the location in a shabby area, on a loud major road)

Cons: The cleanliness was to nowhere near what should be offered for a chain hotel like Holiday Inn. We went there because we liked the Holiday Inn in Leipzig, but the one here in Nürnberg was nowhere to meet the expectations. The sofa was dirty, there were hair on the place, the back of the sofa looked like it had never seen a cleaning lady. The floor carpets full with stains and weariness. Overall not worth the money one pays, sorry to say that.

The employee at the reception desk P.Lienerth did not hide his dislike for us, although we did not give a reason and did not conflict. He refused to help us even in small requests, for example, to give a call to the room to a colleague who was late for the exit. In addition, its strange appearance is not befitting an employee of the hotel. He scared our female colleague with his strange appearance. Unlike other staff at the reception desk, he did not even ask if we liked the hotel.

Cons: At €22 each for breakfast we passed and found a cafe in the station - there are others in the town a short walk away. the garage at €17 a night is also expensive. The rooms could do with a make over as the walls were marked and the carpet and furniture has stains.

Pros: I have stayed at this hotel countless times, since 2008, so I do have a bias! (I first came when another hotel I'd gone to had overbooked and sent me here. Never looked back - and brought my parents here, which says something.....) The rooms are all very comfortable, quiet, air-conditioned, and all up-to-date fittings and decor (without being aggressively "modern" - nothing ugly). The bathrooms are nice and thoroughly clean, good size bathtubs and hot water supplies whenever you need them. Staff are EXTREMELY helpful about everything - luggage, language, use of internet etc., and they take care to get to know you - always a good sign, as well as the fact that the hotel seems to keep a regular, professional team whom you can rely on. Breakfast is a good balance, of traditional local fare and the popular eggs-and-bacon fry-up type (I always eat too much as it's good), which they serve in very pleasant surroundings. The hotel is right behind the train station, so can't be more convenient when you're stopping on the way to anywhere else, and near to most of what's nice to do in Nuremberg. There is also a very nice bar, and restaurant, serving local specialities for dinner. For what you pay it's extremely good value.

Cons: I can't really think of anything bad. - The only thing that ever slips is the supplies at peak breakfast time. ONLY very occasionally, the queues get very long. BUT I don't blame the staff for this, who are all very pleasant, well-mannered, hard-working young folk who attend to every request very well, whether it's a favourite brand of tea or replenishing the milk supplies. (Really this is just more proof of the hotel's popularity, owing to its excellent standard and value for money!)

Pros: The room and the showers were spotless. I was staying in a fully occupied 6 bed dorm, and miraculously every time I entered the showers or the toilets it felt like I'm the only one using them. Breakfast was great. Simple and basic but the vegetables were very fresh and tasty. Very close to the main train station, which makes everything simple in Nuremberg. Even when it rained there was no problem.

Cons: Bedbugs! I will never come back to this location. It was perhaps the worst hostel/hotel experience I've ever experienced. Once I discover my bed was infested with bedbugs, i immediately went to front desk and requested a room change, by now it was 12:30am and the lobby staff were rude and unhelpful. They charged me full price for a solo room, in addition to what I had paid for the hostel room. They gave me a card key that didn't work 3 times in a row, and finally went up to the 2nd floor room to open the door and the 4th key didnt work, by now it was close to 1:30 am, I had moved my luggage up and down 5 times by now. They used a master card key to finally get the door open and then Never gave me a key to my room. Not only were they incompetent, they had zero customer service skills. Never staying there again.

Pros: It was close to the train station. It was also a quick walk into central Nürnberg.
Cons: The road next to the hotel was very loud at times. The parking garage door was having issues so we had to park in a public lot further down the road.

Pros: We had a big room which was okay. But left it in 5 min since it was too hot and noisy for us with a small baby. The staff didn’t agree to cancel it without fee. We paid the whole price. Crazy! However it was the cheapest accommodation in the town so expectations were not so high.

Cons: Old furnished rooms. The street noise outside and lack of air conditioning. Not very friendly staff. Hard to find parking around.
