Pros:I appreciated that the manager allowed me to check out an hour later at no extra cost, as I had an event that morning which I anticipated would go longer than planned.
Cons:Upon opening the door, there was an immediate stench and could not figure out if it was from the AC or the carpet, and it was constant. The towels were like sandpaper. Aside from that, it was clean and quiet and walking distance to good Cambodian food. I really wasn't expecting much, and I didn't need the room for very long, but I do feel it was a bit overpriced.
Pros:I was within walking distance of where I had to be for work...and I had a place to sleep after working a long couple of days.
Cons:When I arrived, the carpet was so damp that I nearly slipped when I walked into the bathroom. The guy at the front desk said I would get cleaning service after my second night, but when I came back at 2pm, my bed wasn't made and I still had dirty towels. There was a loud shouting match between a couple in the room next to me that took place around 9am as I was waking up and carried on for a good two hours. Little Cambodia is not the safest neighborhood in Long Beach, I don't plan on staying there the next time I have to be in Long Beach for business.
Pros:The staff was helpful and friendly. The location was great and within walking distance of many places worth visiting.
Cons:There were some loud noises from time to time. It was either construction or the water pipes.
Pros:The area is quiet. It's just a mediocre hotel but it's sufficient to sleep in.
Cons:There is very little parking. We had to drive around for a space on the street and finally someone left for dinner or something, so we took their spot. Also, you will need cash to check in for the key deposit. I had to go get money since I didn't happen to have $10 on me.
Pros:Clean room Fast WiFi ice machine /microwave/ fridge
Cons:A few ants crawling around Have to keep re-authenticating WiFi Shower floods the bathroom floor with normal usage
Pros:all the parking spaces were taken so the owner gave me his personal parking spot! also reasonable rates, everything worked in the room.
Cons:not the nicest neighborhood but not dangerous by any means.
