Pestana Casino Park

The architecture is beautiful, the swimming pool and sunbathing area are extremely nice, the employees are extremely friendly etc..

Three minor points: 1. the cost of consumptions at the pool area is high (6 euro for a long drink). 2. the fact that you hear the noise of the upstair neighbours peeing in their toilet 3. The average age of the guests is high ! It looks like a retirement house (of course they can pay the price)

Excellent hotel, very beautiful interior, perfect breakfast for various taste, large and comfortable rooms, warm hospitality of personnel

Spa break

A little disappointed that we weren't warned of building works at the nearby casino which was directly opposite our room. These were rather noisey and disrupted the peace and quiet we had headed to Madeira for.

The room was comfortable and nicely decorated, the smily and friendly staff, location is a bonus, the pool area is beautiful and the other facilities in good condition and easy access. Amazing views and well looked after gardens.

Internet Access prices - it's a 5 star hotel, sure they don't need to make a business also from something that in these days is so easy and cheap to get and free in most other hotels in Madeira. Not enough plugs in the room are in very difficult places.

The localization near the city center (you can go by foot). The excellent piece of architecture by Niemeyer. The pools (inside and outside) and the Spa. Breakfast is absolutely complete. Prices of bar/restaurants are reasonable.

Could have parking car facilities nearby free of charge.
