Florence hotels in Campo di Marte

Cons: They are undergoing renovations which was never mentioned once until we were woken up at 8am of day 2 of 3. Constant drilling, banging, and paper thin walls allowed us to feel like they were working in our room. Staff at the hotel said their was nothing they could do. Glad we were only there a couple nights otherwise we would have gone somewhere else. Would not stay again.

Cons: They were rude, not sure why - I'm always polite to people in the service industry. They made my stay pretty awful.

Cons: The beds are uncomfortable cots. It was chilly in the room, which made the bedding feel damp. We woke up a little later than planned and requested to have an extra half hour to shower and change before checking out. The front desk okayed it, which was appreciated however, the information was not communicated to the housekeeper. The housekeeper knocked on our door several times, I explained to her that we were allowed to stay for another half hour to shower. She didn't seem to understand or maybe she just didn't care. She rudely told us we had 5 minutes and left.
