Hotels near Westerland airport

Pros: It was very close to the beach and it had beauty treatments.Unfortunately the pool was out of operation due to a flood whilst I was there. The breakfast was excellent and my bed was really really really really comfortable!!

Cons: Only a minor comment but the television did not feature any English programmes eg sky or bbc World or cnn. They should also cater for the international customer and take credit card. They only accepted cash or ec card. Again this is only a minor comment.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Smart decorative state. Quality breakfast. Easy parking.

Cons: Minor matters: No kettle/Coffee making kit in room. TV had no English/ News channels. Breakfast room is small; requiring queuing (but as Brits; we know how to do it!). Overall, the stay was delightful.

Pros: Hotel owner/staff are kind. Price is very reasonable in an overall expensive place like Sylt Island. The buffet breakfast is great. On arrival, hotel room provides complementary mineral water, which is much needed for anyone who have just done a long journey to come here.

Cons: Everything else has been fine, but there is no air-condition in the room. It was high temperature on the day when I stayed with the hotel, so it was not comfortable enough in the room. There was noise of the train passing the hotel area for a few times.

Cons: Wifi was not yet intsalled, although this hotel was at the time being promoted as 'with wifi'.

Cons: The whole hotel smelled of smoke every where, in the carpet, furniture, etc. One night we even had smoke smell coming into our room while we were trying to sleep, and we had to keep the window open. It is also very loud as the train tracks are right behind the hotel.

Pros: Location on Sylt is very good. Place was quiet.

Cons: No non-smoking rooms in this hotel, however, the room was not smelly.
