The location on it's own private island is very special. Facilities are beautiful asian contemporary in perfect condition. The staff to guest ratio is very apparent in the quality of service that we received. Celebrated a special anniversary here and it was acknowledged in a thoughtful way. We loved our spa villa over the water!
good place for spa & well kept enviroment, staying close to natural.
We appreciated the varied styles of food and the different locations to have dinner. We also appreciated the friendly serviceminded staff! The spa is brilliant! Perfect place for à calm holiday The restaurants were a bit pricy!
Very Nice, but they make you pay too much for all the niceness Price of food
The room upgrade from Garden View to Hill view was excellent.Superb view. Would be great if the hotel staff can inform the time for housekeeping etc.
the pool concept is nice. enjoyed. best part is u can enjoy till 10pm!!. The hornbills are realy a catchy one. They are wild ones!! Yet tamed a little by feeding 'em. Good and fascinating. Great concept. the manager ( I mean the captain En Sharil Raof ( corect?) is very helpful. He even ensures and shows U off to the van taxi upon checking out.
The swimming was great with jacuzzi, rooms was clean, bed was comfortable and location was near the beach and food stalls with small grocery shops.
Went there in November 2010. The hotel is fairly new (2 years). The location is great: a 1-minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to Daddy's Cafe - the best restaurant on Pangkor. The balconies in the rooms are very nice. The pool is very child-friendly. Breakfasts are delicious. The staff is very friendly. We were there on a Muslim holiday. The hotel owner and his wife invited us to taste traditional food (lemeng) cooked specially for this holiday. It was very unexpected and nice of them. All my family and friends really enjoyed lemeng and the whole stay at Anjungan. BTW, it was our second stay at this hotel. We liked everything the first time (January 2010) and came back in less than a year. Not hotel's fault, but important to mention - there is some construction along the road just between Anjungan and the beach. It's not too loud, but somewhat unpleasant to walk to the beach among construction waste.
Nice family run hotel. The family and their staff is really friendly. Nice, big rooms with airco, comfortable beds! Lovely pool area which is opened till 10.00PM! Across the street from the beach! Only 2 years old! Really recommended!! Me and my mum loved this hotel, one of the best we stayed in during our 3 week trip! Nothing really...minor details; rooms are pretty basic but clean and comfy! What else do you need on an island like Pangkor! Lovely place and we will be back sometime!
Excellent.! would love to come again next time. During my stay there everything was beyond expectation. Perfect getaway.
very good breakfast buffett, nice rooms upper floor only Hotel staff doesn t care well, we need to change dirty bed linen twice
The Spa Treatment The food offered was of very low quality
the sea , the room and the restaurant at the sea shore is great.Breakfast maybe improved for quality.
Pampered and happy as our rooms up graded to Sea View Love almost everything there and planning to go again only that at night a lot of mosquitoes but we understand nature environment.
They do not clean the rooms,, all they do is change the bed towels ,, if you drop any think to the groud you will come and find it in the same place., For 2 days I witness this only thetowels no thing more.?
Good getaway with reasonable good amenities. It's located quite remote from other places. Hence it's not convenient for those who do not possess own transport and would like to go outside of the hotel for dining and shopping. In addition, the access road to the hotel could be very spooky at night as only limited lightings are provided.
the place very nice and calm and relax. The view and the beach activitise. also the garden very nice Location, far way from every thing and one hour and half from bus station
The view and facilities are comfortable for a family outing. The rooms are clean but its about time for refurbishment. The carpet in the room has a musky smell.
The view was really nice. Service was not so great. Food was not healthy at all. Hotel needs a lot of renovations.
nothing full of mosquites everywhere, cats every where and noisy
Nice big room and bathroom. Good pool area and great beachside location. We stayed in the hotel but the cabins looked a good option aswell. The breakfast that was included wasnt the best and there was limited choice of local resteraunts.
Close to the beach, less than 50 meters, and to the local shops.
the location very nice, outside got restaurant and very near to beach. don't have bathtub, fridge and hair dryer.
The sea and beach was clean at the very least and the rooms although not fully equiped, were clean (maybe because it was still newly refurbished). The price of the rooms are not expensive but considering what they have to offer, I would say it is expensive. You do not even get a telephone to call the frontdesk in case you need anything. Besides that, there is also no "safe" available for patrons to safekeep valuables and there was also no refridgerator in the rooms. TV Channel selections were very limited and there is no bar open/available in the hotel despite being listed in their amenities. The breakfast included was disastrous with very little choice and not accommodating at all to patrons. As for dinner you're on your own. However, being close to a few local restaurants you should be able to get good delicious dinner easily.
The hotel is clean and the room is spacious.
