Cons:
I did not end up keeping the Kayak reservation. I received a phone call from someone saying they were from Enterprise asking if I still wanted the car. Then they asked me for a phone number for an emergency contact. Then they asked for my email. I told them that I had entered it online and they said that was the website, this was the counter. I refused to answer more questions. When I went back to look at my reservation, I realized that I had been booked at a counter over 30 minutes from the airport, even though I had searched for LAX rental cars. I cancelled and booked directly with Enterprise and made sure it was the airport location. All in all, a bad experience that could have been much worse. I could have missed my meeting in LA.2.0 Poor

Nothing. You sent me to the wrong location. I asked for LAX airport. I even called to confirm my reservation was LAX airport and was told YES get on shuttle bus at LAX. after a long line wait at car rental was told it was for Korea town location and 30 minute Cab ride away.Cons:

At least have cars for customers that have reservation, Made my reservation 5 days in advance, got there no cars. Trying to get my mom out the houes from cabin fever, didn't happen ,very disappointed.Midway

The manager Sam was very nice and the car itself was niceCons:
The two original customer service counter ppl that I encountered. The gentleman was rude and charged my card a number of times for twice the rental fee and instead of listens to me to correct his mistakes got rude and offensive and lied to his manger. The second customer service counter help female told me she did me a favor by voiding the transaction that had already been charged to my card for three times the rental confirmation amount and I had never even received a rental or keys. The service at this place was beyond horrible. Thankfully Sam was there to intervene. It amazes me this man keeps his sanity with this in-adequate staff. He deserves better than the colleagues he has to manage.9.2 Wonderful

The pickup location closed early leaving us stuck in a seedy part of Los Angeles with all our baggage awaiting an uber. We wasted 2hrs travelling in traffic from LAX to pickup location, then another uber back to LAX (over $100 in travel). The Hertz at LAX refused to transfer the booking and I had to call HQ to have the order cancelled (5days to refund $500) and rebook as a walk-in for an extra $300. I will never book with Hertz again. Terrible experience.2.0 Poor

Car cost was more than double the quoted price! They wanted to put a $400 (plus) hold on my credit card. It declined... I had to take a bus and a train to get back to Santa Monica. The car was really nice and unlimited mileage is great.Cons:
The pickup process took over an hour. The rental car location is very far from the airport. They are in a fenced in lot and they open at 8am. My flight was at 7 and since I could not drop the car off at that location I was forced to pay $70 to drop off at a different location.Budget

Pros:
The gentleman at the Budget office in LA was very helpful however, initially couldn't help us so referred us to the Customer service line (which is what i didn't like). Later, after Customer services was horrible, he tried his best to find something else for us. He made numerous sincere apologies and did find something else that was similar, but still didn't work well, so we went with a different company. We appreciated his assistance very much.Cons:
Not having a car, starting vacation with 2 hours trying to find a car, throwing off our schedule. The customer service hotline was poor, definitely did not give customer service, couldn't find an appropriate alternative, would not honor price I had already agreed to pay, basically denying any responsibility, casual "Sorry, not my fault" kind of responses.Sixt
