The room was spacious and comfortable with amazing views of the canal! The location of the pousada is very central, just a couple of blocks from the historic centre and very safe to walk around. There are many options for food and drinks close to the pousada. The staff was friendly and arranged a taxi for us when we needed it.
It was a bit difficult to use the cold-hot water mixer in the bathroom but got used to it in the end.

This is a beautiful Posada, just a short walk from the old historical centre and backing onto the river. There is a nice pool area, the rooms are comfortable and clean and breakfast is substantial.
The air conditioning unit is really loud, so if you are a light sleeper this may be an issue. An additional bin in the room would be nice, considering the one in the bathroom is to be used for your toilet paper, therefor you want to keep it closed as much as possible. The hot water unit for the shower yields two temperatures's - hot and luke warm.

Being on the bank of the river was lovely.
