Hotels near Edmonton airport

Pros: The convenience of staying at this hotel while on a layover was outstanding. I especially like the staff Mr Fahad S who checked me in and out. He was particularly professional, friendly and helpful.

Cons: I liked everything!

Pros: The front desk person - Aziz was friendly and professional. The whole experience from checking in with Aziz to enjoying the excellent restaurant was super. The decor was especially modern and pristine. I will always try to stay here during a layover.

Cons: Too far from downtown Edmonton. Parking very expensive! Don’t stay here if you have a car and expect to be going in and out.

Cons: Shower was dirty. Soap scum. Essential utensils missing like cutting knives and not snough utensils and dishes and glasses etc. Ice cube trays dirty. Bed spread frayed. Quilt seemed dirty. Missing dish cloth and dish soap. No face cloth or hand towels.

Cons: The take away breakfast could have been a little better and kept stocked. There was two of us and the bath towels where placed as if there was one person.

Cons: We found the beds to be not very comfortable, way to hard. Also had work to do Online and found the free internet was not good enough to complete it, had to pay to upgrade to better internet connection.

Pros: Due to Covid, there was no food on the premises other than packaged or frozen to be cooked in microwave and that wasn’t appealing to me.

Cons: The whirlpool is not working! Reported it numerous times but didn’t Do anything Plus: the photo in the website is not the same as the actual!

Cons: I know that your front desk person checks in thousands of guest but I had never been there before and needed a bit more help. Not everyone is a returning guest and needs to be walked through their check in procedure.

Pros: The staff was exemplary for the entirety of my stay and accommodated all request quickly. The room was clean, modern, and also included a microwave and fridge. Close proximity to IKEA, freeways, and shopping.

Cons: The elevator was annoying with a card tap required everytime you entered the elevator but that is really not much of an issue.

Cons: The wifi kept being taken over by Four Points Hotel across the parking lot.

Pros: I liked the stay and the property except for the cold air that would flow into the room from under the air conditioner installed under the window. The receptionists were extremely friendly.

Cons: I did not like the cold draft from under the air unit. The shower could have been refreshed with new sprinkler and installed the plug into the bath tub.

Pros: It was covid so the restaurant was closed. You could eat at the bar. Staff very nice and food very good but felt slightly deserted. Through no fault of the hotel.

Pros: So disappointed that the booking through booking.com was not honoured. My reservation was recognized after the stuff asked me to call a figure it out myself, but they can’t find my reservation. I was also asked to pay a GST on the top of the price. So frustrating experience, that will ensure I stay away from Delta hotels in the future.

Cons: Parkaide was closed despite advertising free undercover parking. Zero food on the premises and zero room service for food. We are supposed to be isolating and this hotel forces you to go out to eat. Skip the dishes took two hours one night. Staff were lovely and helpful.

Cons: Hotel location is only think I can think about as positive, my stay was short 10pm to 8am, when I got inside room floor was full of restaurant flyers, room insulation was terrible, could listen next room conversations if they talked a bit louder and all traffic. The worst was aircondition, every time it went on was really loud, woke up every single time it came on during the night. Not a pleasant experience, highly recommend to avoid this hotel

Cons: For the five night stay, not a single day housekeeping come to the room. Poor tv signal, so you’d be in the middle of a show and it would go all fuzzy. The internet wasn’t the fastest, but it’s free. 1 out of the 2 beds was okay comfort. The other one had indents and was lumpy.

Hotel is in an area that is within walking distance of stores and food outlets. Covd19 protocols being followed, made me feel confident of safety from infection.

Cons: They were very rude, no privacy and not cooperative at our unfortunate situation through Christmas. Not once did they change bedding. Deposit still hasn't been returned. Will not be back. Even though it was almost affordable the ignorance was enough to make it not worth it. Bad experience with other permanent residents, intoxicated, yelling obscenities and making not acceptable propositions. Very uncomfortable and unsafe. You would think they would be courteous to ANY customers. 2 thumbs down...

Cons: They charged me 50.00 for my daughter making a mess on the sheets with pizza when I worked in housekeeping and never heard of this and pizza can come out if you soak it with a bit of bleach and stain removal in a bucket with cold water also they should have bed bug covers like most hotels now a days

Pros: Easy and hassle-free check-in and check-out. They accommodated us even if we are a bit early for the check-in time. Clean bedsheets. Comfortable bed.

Cons: TV doesn't work in one of the bedrooms. The refrigerator is not cold enough. A random dude called both our rooms past midnight for more than 3 times. I left my only prescription eyeglasses in our room - I called them the next morning they confirmed it's there (told me to call in the afternoon because the afternoon staff can help me). I called same day afternoon: initial answer was my glasses were not there (told them I talked to a staff early morning and confirmed it's there) he got off the phone for a few seconds and came back to me said it was there. I asked them if they could ship it to my home address, I'll pay for everything (told me to call tomorrow for the manager). Called the next day on the agreed time to look for the manager (feels like it's the same guy I talked to yesterday) and told me they don't do drop-offs, so I need to find a pick-up service. I managed to find a pick-up service, I called them again to send a picture of the glasses so I can confirm it's the right one (it took them 2 days to get back to me). I learned that eventhough I arrange the pick-up service the package needs to be in proper bubble envelope packaging (I thought they won't do the efforts to do the packaging) - I gave up and stopped calling them.

Pros: The staff let me have an extended check out time so that I could use wifi to complete an online exam. I was on a large road trip and thought the motel provided enough of what I needed on a good price point. I'm not a luxury traveller. I just need the basics. They delivered and were very kind.

Cons: Not exactly 'modern' looking accommodations. But, it was clean. Wifi was good.

Pros: It was a good room in a very convenient place in terms of accessing the airport as well as other city sites. The room was clean and it was relatively quiet throughout the night. The staff was very helpful and offered an upgrade at no extra charge.

Cons: The room was kinda run down, first thing i saw when i walked in was a flying ant, then saw quite a few fruit flies, the door handle was half falling off. Wasnt a nice room at all, but i guess you get what you pay for.

Pros: It's convenient to the south bound HWY 2. It's very close White Mud Drive, convenient to drive to West End and Sherwood Park. There are eateries, etc. with South Common right there.

Cons: This is a very dated motel. My room was quite worn. Get past the look, the bed was comfortable and bathroom facilities worked. There are individuals up late and individuals (appeared homeless) who were walking through the parking lot throughout the evening.
